    You must send a sample of this to the author!! There is no end to your creativity. She will see that you have brought her series to life! Marie, I am new to this spectrum of DIY. You are gifted, and you share it all with us. A true blessing.

    Hi Marie, I made this as a creamy face wash. I put SCI, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Decyl Glucoside, HEC, kaolin clay, coconut oil, glycerin, gigawhite powder, d-panthenol. I put milk scent and rose essential oil. Its so creamy, pretty, smells so lovely. I wish I can tag you on my Instagram post.

    I absolutely love the backstory 😊 I noticed you used Dimethicone in your cool down in your bum bum cream ... I was wondering why. I use cyclomethicone in cool down since it's volatile but I always include Dimethicone in my heated oil phase.

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  3 года назад

      Hey Emma! I thought I'd try dimethicone in the cool down phase as I saw a few suppliers recommend that... I can't say I noticed a difference :)

    Hi, Marie! I have watched every episode of Miss Fisher's Mysteries, actually several times! Love her!
    If I substitute hydroxyethylcellulose with xanthan gum should I mix it with the glycerine and add it to water phase? TIA!

    Hi Marie, could you use hydrolyzed goat's milk for this recipe? i never see anything with this hydrolyzed protein and yet goats milk lotions are pretty popular- thanks!

    Is the viscosity same as face milk from fourth ray ?

    Just a suggestion. Instead of using pink mica using calamine can help as it has got excellent properties

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  3 года назад +1

      True, but it also makes the skin a pasty pink colour that rubs off on clothes as a pale pink powder, which I don't think is desirable at all in a product like this.

      @@HumblebeeAndMe actually I had worked out on a formulation of rose calamine lotion with Bulgarian rose extract and rose essential oil with 1 percent calamine. It had worked out wonders for me without leaving any after stain as it get absorbed in the skin completely. Between I use remi stirrer for formulating which gives superb texture. Between thanks for your valuable reply and I love ur formulations and I get to learn so much from them.

    Is glyceryl stearate a natural emulsifier. If no what is the natural alternative.

    • @e.a.4926
      @e.a.4926 3 года назад

      It's not natural. It contains PEG. There is no direct natural alternative in my experience. Olivem 1000 might be closest but it's not as stable or silky. Plus or soaps.
