      I think it was the 4th of July and there may have been someone selling ice cream but I’m not sure.

    How do you learn the bass lines? By ear, sheet music, or tabs? When I only played bass I used tabs which, didn't help me to understand the song. That's why I learned guitar so I could use chord charts first then learn the bass line and understand it somewhat. Still haven't really used sheet music for either instrument too much unless I have to - I did use sheet music for piano when I was younger.

      Playing through the chords on guitar is a great way to learn the bass parts.
      I usually learn bass lines with the sheet music and by ear.
