- Exploring An Abandoned Kmart In New York With Aces Adventures. Enjoy a brief look at this old store that closed around 2016. While there was not much to see around inside, the remains of the old K Cafe were still intact. Most of the store has been repurposed and sectioned off. We got to explore this store courtesy of my good friend Anthony of Aces Adventures.

Instead of “” Pizza Pizza “” the tag line of this particular Little Caesars location is
“” Empty Empty “” 🍕
Empty-Empty, LOL.
lol
Lol
I love black fluffy Larry cat. I have two cats, but the black one is short haired and shinny sleek.
Larry is so cute!
Sad to see just 11 Kmarts left in the continental US but good video WallieB26
RIP Kmart. Their time is coming soon!
Loved the Larry cameo!
Very painful to watch these Kmart videos. I was in management with them from the middle 80's to mid 90's. Was at four different stores in Alabama. Great times back then. Including one store I was at still had the ole reel to reel tape deck.
Were you ever at the Phenix City store?
I just explored an abandoned Kmart in my area, door was wide open and I just walked in! So much fun! It even had a Thank you for shopping our Big Kmart sign in the front! And I said look at the front where it says Kmart real big!
Super cool! What location? Had a similar experience here at the former Kmart in Allentown pa. Doors open and sign on the wall. Registers even intact too.
@@bretesenftleben8576 I live in Mckinleyville CA the sign was all that was left, other then that it was completely stripped of everything! Still cool to explore though! So many memories.😥
No video?
@@christiangonzales7429 no unfortunately I was not able to get a video! I'm gonna go back and try again!
great video i was in there and filmed as well!
Your black kitty cat Larry is such a cutie!
So happy you got to collaborate with Ace again! Been waiting for that for a while!
Your car Larry looks like my black cat Ollie andddd “LOOK AT THE MARK WHERE IT USE TO SAY KMART REAL BIG “ 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣womp
I enjoyed watching your video, Wallie B26! ❤😘👍 Thank you so much!
Great job as always Wallie! So cool that you were able to just walk right in there.
rip kmart and all of the dead stores.. glad its folks out there to document them
Although I liked Kmart , I still mourn the demise of Hills stores that were in Ohio 😢
Makes me miss Kmart even more. Our Kmart also closed in 2016.
No Kmarts here in Texas. I'm in the Houston area, ours closed way back in 2003.
Mine Opened in around 1989 and closed in 2018, it was the Hermitage PA location, it actually Closed the same day as the Last Kmart Super Center, it's Now a Big Lots and Gabe's
we had 2 in our area
Eureka closed September 2017
McKinleyville Closed Summer 2020. I was in this one in Feburary the same year on the way to Home Depot.
This would be a perfect size store for spirit store
WALL ART 🖼️ AND ACES ADVERTISED!!!!!!!! Hell yeah 🫡
The Dicks Sporting Goods actually moved up to the Eastview mall where the former Sears was. Bigger space probably.
It's actually now a House of Sport. So much bigger and better, and only one of two in the country... So far.
Half abandoned Kmart in victor, new York is now hobby lobby the other half still abandoned.
Awesome job !!!!!!
Awesome getting in. I sometimes get to a place and I got skeptical, but ends up being a good find. Glad you checked the door.
Yes Kmart
What a cute kitty! Seems very lovable! 🐱🐱🐱
That room with the lock on the door was the cash office, where they count out the drawers for cash registers..
There's An Abandoned Kmart In Jamestown, NY By The Home Depot & Wegmans.
He filmed it when it was closing
Was there, when it was still there, they were really dead though. My cousins live there so I decided to go with my mom, and my aunt and my cousin that doesn’t live in Jamestown
Yep, thats my KMart, I miss it every day. I swear they left the sign on the building just to taunt me. It would be cool to see wallie explore it someday!
@@cyruscuckler3495 it’s disappointing to see all of them close.
So sad it's gone that was my childhood Kmart I grew up in Lakewood but now am living in California!
Sweet find. Me, being the butthole I am, would've went full Kool-Aid Man through that drywall into that Hobby Lobby 🤣
LMAO!!!!! That would be hilarious. Haha
@@WallieB26 i used to live behind a k mart as little girl back in the mid 70's early 80's
And Then Kool-Aid Man Goes to Jail, never to be seen on TV ever again!
There's an abandoned K Mart in Yorktown Heights, New York which is directly adjacent to an abandoned Food Emporuim Supermarket (part of the old A&P Cluster)
NY? Is no abandoned K-Mart safe from Wallie's camera? Lol!
Thanks guys.😊
My hometown Kmart is now hobby lobby, dollar tree , pet supplies plus and 5 below across from meijer store in stow which used to have a plaza with the original Kresge store
You should check out the Walmart in Navasota, Texas. It still has the logo with the hyphen and it's really small. It got a new paint job but kept the hyphen logo.
That Walmart is as old-school as they come!
great video wallie. sad to see a abandoned Kmart.
It's really cool to see another abandoned KMart video. I really do miss KMart and shopping in the store. It's a bummer that you forgot your light panel. At least you got inside and explore the old KMart. Have a KMartlicious Day!
YES! Two of my favorite explorers! 😁
Instead of look at the front where it says AMES so real big it’s look at the front where it would’ve said it Kmart real big that was a amazing clip nice job getting in there though and yeah congratulations.
Yes! A Kmart! Sad to see it gone, but looks like it'll be a great video regardless!
YES! YOU FINALLY DID A CROSSOVER WITH ANTHONY! THANK YOU!
That is about the right number of keys you would find in every Kmart. Every store had a key box usually in the store managers office. They would be numbered and hopefully marked with what the key was for.
Might I say, my Kmart location looks quite good, it’s like Kmart but just a neat and empty place
That little room was the cash office when you needed a cash bag at your start of shift for a register this is where you would receive it and turn it in at end of your shift. There would have been a full safe in there.
It was kinda strange seeing a cash office behind the counter of the snack bar. I thought it would have been way in the back of the store, where it's more secure.
@@christiangonzales7429 that's behind the customer service desk not the snack bar.
@@MarksKicksOnRoute66 What was the room at 11:46 (to the right of the doors) used for?
@@christiangonzales7429my guess is cart storage. None of my stores had this. However look at the dark tinted glass in the vestibule on the same side as that room. Is probably where the carts came inside.
@@MarksKicksOnRoute66 I didn't notice that initially. You're right, it looks like it might be the cart chute like ones Walmart had (with the tiny half-doors at their older stores). This is just a bigger version of that.
Did you hear any ghostly echoes of, "attention Kmart shoppers?" :D
I wish. Haha
11:27 alterative universe of "Oh look at the front where it says ames real big"
Attention Kmart Shoppers
Awe Larry is so handsome . Great video too.
that was so cool Building of the kmart and you guys find the master plans of the split of the building how cool was that Thanks again Wallie :D
Hail Larry!
I like how they just left the building plans there on the floor. That's a nice find. Besides that and seeing part of a Kmart Larry was the highlight of this video 👍 I like kitties.
I want that soap dispenser
Nice vid!!!
Omg that was my favorite where u said ahh look at the front where it says big k lol
Awesome one on this. The blueprints are a really cool find. Hi Larry
Theres a abandoned kmart and a former ben franklin store thats now a sheriff department and then theres a former ames thats still being used for two different business here in towanda pa
Good video! Wallie! You were in my state where I live! Nice to see part of that Kmart used as something else. That one room you went in, was really really dark!
Larry is the star of the channel!... very quiet type!
Give Larry a pet for me! Awesome explore and very cute cat.
Thank you! Larry will not turn down pets! Haha
Jeez, this one reminded me of a certain K Mart I explored not too long ago, completely empty but still worth it
Awww kitty kitty
Good late 🌄 Wallie 👍 kmart video, I've would of grabbed the kmart 🔑, I wish I can go inside my abandoned hyannis Kmart, I don't go to hyannis anymore , I miss Kmart, have an awesome kmart velicous day, Delores Jordan
2:33 Poor K cafe and ceiling fans...
Who the hell cares about a ceiling fan? Hope it was scrapped n burned just like my snatch was by my son.
Who cares about a ceiling fan? Hope it was burned like my downstairs was by my son
@@barbchandler5730 You know what? SHUT the heck up ok? Because I care about ceiling fans and I don't care about what you say.😒
wow so cool aces i like lary too so cool cat
You sould go back to the one in North Versailles a Pennsylvania it is now a uhaul place
I came for the urbex, but I stayed for the Larry
You should do the former Kmart building in Terre Haute Indiana
The former one in Oak Ridge Tn has a Planet Fitness right in the middle. The prison yard is still there.
Have you done the wendys in loogootee Indiana and there are a bunch of places
Too Bad You Weren't able to Check out our Old Kmart in Hermitage PA, Atleast it's Used Now as a Big lots and Gabe's
I did a video there when they were liquidating. It's been awhile. And actually I was just in that Big Lots last month!
@@WallieB26 I knew about that video lol
look at the front where it says ames real big lol
@wallieb26, looks like u can't get any big gas savings nor ship your pants at this location, obviously, lol!:).
Hahaha!
Omg Larry! Great vid!
Awesome video
Love Larry. He looks like my JJ.
Larry! 😻
this def had to have been an unopened amazon fresh
I want to say you were right about the Hobby Lobby being split from the Kmart and not the old Dick's because the service desk, Little Caesars, and the fitting rooms all took up that side of the store. My hometown Kmart in Phenix City, Alabama was built identical to that. When the stores are built with front entrances near the corner of the store the snack bars or eaterys are normally on the side wall where this one was as the stores with the entrance in the center of the front wall have their snack bars either on the front wall or in the back of the store normally
in my case since I am a nut for keys I would have taken em all dang it. I love keys and I would carry around keys that go to stuff and have ones that done and I would feel like a janitor with all the keys.
Totally awesome vid
Great job
that looks a nice one to
WallieB26, really enjoyed your video!
My kmart is already another business (Runnings)
Larry's awesome!
Yoo Larry!!!!!
Theres an abandoned Toys R Us in Rochester, Minnesota
2016 was last time I walked into a K-Mart and that's cause there fucking prices were INSANE !! Much more than Walmart/Target. I see why they're going out of business dying a slow death
i was at key west is a Kmart open
Great
Those are all kmart keys. Ask anyone who ever had access to the cash office key box. Every store had tons and tons of keys. Always seemed like Management was afraid to throw old ones away incase they were needed for something.
That room, with the small window, was the cash office. The small window was used if something had to be handed in/out of the office when someone was working inside.
You should shoot some videos at the old steel mills out in Pittsburgh their Wally I would be interested in seeing some of them
I like larry
Like #79
The hobby lobby was the rug mart
Sweet kitty.
11:46 What was in that room to the right of the entrance?
Why not film in the hobby lobby next to it so we see the connection it had to the Kmart
Had I been driving I would have. We were in Anthony's car and were on his schedule. I would have if I was driving my vehicle.
@@WallieB26 I have a hunch the Hobby Lobby still retains the Kmart look for the most part, although with a few grommet modifications.
Thats by me
Great video, have you ever had the police show up while you were exiting an abandoned establishment?
Document these while you still can they are becoming few and far between the ones in my area have been torn down or repurposed into Amazon distribution centers
I hope you have learn to bring your lights where ever you are going. Because you never know when you'll need them.
Wassup, Larry cat?
100k two Kmarts will open
