Late to comment on this due to travel chaos, but I don't actually have that much to say about this game anyway. - Her Interactive had to make up a first name for Kate Drew because in the books, she's never named. As soon as I saw the upload notification, I immediately thought of Arin and Danny’s videos on _America’s Next Top Model!_ Nancy Drew’s voice actress is in that game as well and her glitchy face looks almost exactly like the picture that Evelien used in her thumbnail! And, yes: Nancy’s involvement with this case is would have been a conflict of interest if she had been a licensed detective. This would be tantamount to a doctor operating on their own offspring. PS: I waited until around 2:15:00 to say this: It’s always entertaining to watch Evelien play Nancy Drew games, but Lani Minella read her lines far too casually for a story that involves the death of her character’s mother! PPS: Out of curiosity, I Googled Lani. She was born on July 28, 1950 which makes her seventy-three. She’s also exactly, _to the day and month,_ ten years younger than my own Mom would have been if she hadn’t died of Pancreatic Cancer in 1997. Perhaps that’s why I’m annoyed by her performance regarding a far more serious subject than these particular games usually involve.
As a real life Scottish person... I don't think these actors have heard a Scottish accent before 😂. I like that they have stovies at the deli though, yum.

You went to visit your grandmother and she talked about being in trouble, and then someone came and knocked on her door and she told you to hide. There were a few places but the only correct one was the wardrobe in the hallway, where your grandmother told you there was a keypad that led to a secret passage that would lead you to revealing everything, and that she was sorry to involve you with this. I remember being terrified of the game because if you hid in the wrong spot there was this long scene of heavy footsteps checking around the house, and then the door to whatever you had hid in would slowly open and a deep scary voice accompanied by nothing but a black figure would grab you and talk about having finally found you

1:02:18 crippling a city starts with one person, yes. But i think they meant the percentage sick at the same time. 1 person sick doesn't do much. Now have a large percentage (did they say 20%?) all sick at the same time and suddenly nothing gets done anymore
Oh man, I finally finished catching up on the entire Nancy playlist. I've never played them myself but since the first time I saw one with Day9, Sean and Leigh playing one on Mostly Walking I've been loving watching people play through them. I've never seen this one before and never really paid too much attention to the overarching lore (aside from Nancy and Ned having a really strained relationship 😆) so never knew Nancy's Mom had died which made it really interesting to see Nancy diving into her Mom's last case. Thanks for the months of entertainment as I slowly made my way through these Gab and I'm glad I found your channel as you've been nothing but a delight to watch.

Carson's VA's delivery of the story regarding Kate's singing voice at the end of the game is so natural and hilarious, it genuinely sounds like one of my relatives telling me a story! So freaking heartwarming.
I don't know why it took me so long to put this together but I play Lord of the Rings Online a lot, and the voice actress for Nancy Drew is all over the place in that game lol. Galadriel, Arwen, Eowyn, and tons of original characters.
I played this one after your first nancy videos because it's set in Scotland and I'm a proud Scottish lassie 🏴 Finally was on the receiving end of bad accents and pronunciations. The way she says Loch Lomond lives rent free in my head
It’s no surprise Glaswegians don’t sound like the accents in the game (or Shrek lmao). Honoured to be hit by the accent butchering of Nancy Drew games. I love the plot of this one, unhinged in that way I’ve come to really enjoy.
It's a delight every time to see a new one from you. Thank you for playing and sharing with us~
Finally got time to sit down and watch this in it’s entirety. It feels so weird to watch a ‘recent’ Dancy Drew upload since I’ve done a lot of catching up up itll this point, the only recent one I’ve seen is the Midnight in Salem one, cause, if memory serves, Gab played that game first before starting at the beginning as much as she could? I am excited!
Hey Gab, there's a game called Rotten Flesh i think. It's an indie game that allows you to use your microphone in search of your lost dog. Thriller/horror game. Have fun!
Omg can’t WAIT to see how they butcher the NZ accent in the next one! This was a great watch but I did miss the more comedic elements of the other games. 🏄🏻♀️
1:00:25 Lol The Jabbawockeez are a dance crew and fun fact, they got their name from Jabberwock! The name of the dragon creature from the poem in the story “Into the looking Glass” by Lewis Carroll. Also, bonus fun fact, in some of the Jabbawockeez sets, their music starts off with “Beware the Jabberwock, my son.”
Brigit sounds like whoever is voice acting her is doing a Northern Irish accent people do think the Scottish accent and Northern Irish accent sound kinda similar but someone that is half and half can definitely tell the difference. Omg COOKIES. I want cookies now :(

I love how cozy these are.
I finally finished watching all of your play throughs so far! Love them so much can't wait for more. I really wish the devs would make a more of the same older style but I'm glad they tried something new with the newer Nancy.
Yes!! This is my favorite!! I’m so happy to see Gab play it!!!
3:28 I also think the scottish and irish accents can be really charming lmao
first time ive watched a playthrough of this game since playing it as a kid and since then my mom has passed away and boy this is an actual tear jerker! im excited for a silly game next! but of course nancy is always good
I was just thinking it has been a while since we've had a new Nancy! Thanks!
I love watching your Nancy Drew play throughs :) I watch them on my second monitor while i work hehe x
Thank you for blessing me on my birthday with some Nancy drew🥳❤️❤️ I love your videos & you!! Keep doing what you’re doing!!
"Shrek" Accent, xD 3:18
But yeah, wholly agree, love me a Scottish accent.
As a Scot myself, that fake accent was painful 😭😂
@@nunpho I'm sorry xD
@@nunphoI can’t remember if anyone commented to Gab, but were ANY of the accents authentic-ish enough?? Even if someone seemed like they moved away before they were 12?? 😂😂
I'm so excited for Rusty Lake Hotel, my heart jumps when I see that you've uploaded a new video, then sinks when it isn't the one I'm looking for.
Woot, new Nancy Drew! They’re going to have to start making more games to keep up.
Omg that little bit between nancy and her dad felt so natural at the end and it was so sweet
Honestly i would play the cookie mini game forever
Right?? ND mini games are oddly satisfying 😂
Gab "predicting" the zipline after watching it on the trailer is peak adhd
Me watching other videos from other people: *I sleep*
Me when Gab uploads a Nancy Drew Video: *I AWAKE*
I played this one after your first nancy videos because it's set in Scotland and I'm a proud Scottish lassie 🏴
Finally was on the receiving end of bad accents and pronunciations. The way she says Loch Lomond lives rent free in my head
Also the idea that you can just get a train to Loch Lomond from Glasgow?? Good luck with that 🤣
Also Scottish, I've been excitedly and nervously anticipating this one 😂 now we can understand how much creative liberty they take
@@laurenhogg1596 same here 🤣🤣 I'm half an hour in and I can say it could be better but it could be worse too lol
@@emilyjardine5479 she just said Loch Lomond for the first time for me...never heard it pronounced like that before 😂
Surprised to see a dessert that i recognize from Drawfee: Clootie Dumpling!
It’s no surprise Glaswegians don’t sound like the accents in the game (or Shrek lmao). Honoured to be hit by the accent butchering of Nancy Drew games.
I love the plot of this one, unhinged in that way I’ve come to really enjoy.
jabberwocky is a creature in alice in wonderland, if i'm not mistaken.
It is creature in Through the Looking Glass..
Yess! I was just wondering if it was time for the next Nancy installment!! So excited to watch this when I have time later!! thank you 😊💚
I have JUST finished the Tesla one, so imagine my surprise when I saw a new Nancy Drew today. So happy!! ❤🎉
I think the accent varies based on where they are from. I dating a guy in Glasgow who said he was from the country side and he had a THICK accent. lol
Hey Gab, there's a game called Rotten Flesh i think. It's an indie game that allows you to use your microphone in search of your lost dog. Thriller/horror game. Have fun!
Ah I was rewatching the playlist for the millionth time and was aching for a new video!!! ❤️always comes at the perfect time!
Omg can’t WAIT to see how they butcher the NZ accent in the next one! This was a great watch but I did miss the more comedic elements of the other games. 🏄🏻♀️
4 hours of serenity
MY FAVORITE NANCY DREW GAME!!! I literally couldn't be any happier 😍
Bliss. Started building a new puzzle and saw this was uploaded. I am possibly the happiest person alive in this moment.
I want cookies now :(
As i am from Glasgow im loving it and the hilarious accent's. Absolutely love binging your Nancy game's.
I binged watched this BUT I WANT MORE
I loved this one!! I was pretty young when I played it so I had no idea how bad the accents were 😂 thanks for more Nancy content!
