Loved the video @MoiDawg! Can't wait for the next video man! Glad to see the American M113A3 Armored Personnel Carriers and the Soviet/Russian T-90A Main Battle Tanks coming in to SQUAD. It'll be interesting to see how well these Play out in game, especially with Eye in the sky LMAO! The M1064 Mortar Carriers are pretty Interesting to, though I'd like to see a Full battery of 3 of them. I guess that'll be a Decent Nerf, so that your not sending About a dozen Rounds towards the Enemy and making things that much easier for a Squad wipe. As someone who's seen "Red Cap" on WETA UK, Played a decent amount of Tank and Dogfighting Simulators and Seen ArmA 3 Artillery Strikes, I can Safely say that the Correct Method to call in Artillery Support would be to Give the Battery to Direction your Facing for the Target in Degrees along with the Distance between you and the Target, then call out three numbers: • The First Number will deal with how many Howitzers or Mortars are in the Battery Firing the Bombardment. • The Second Number is How many Salvoes you want the Battery to Fire during the Bombardment. • The Third and Last Number is How many Rounds (Shells for Howitzers or Bombs for Mortars) you want in Each Salvo for the Bombardment After The Direction of the Target from You in Degrees and the Targets Range has be Relayed, the Battery will send a Spotting Round down range so the Spotter or Soldier Calling in the Bombardment can see if the Rounds will land at least in the General Area of the Target. This is Done before the Bombardment is actually called in so as to ensure that the Target can effectively be Dealt with. Once the Spotter or Soldier Calling in the Bombardment is Sure that the Bombardment can Effectively deal with the Target, That's when the Bombardment can be Called in. Take the Unit with the M113's and Both M1064 Mortars for Example. Let say that They are fighting the Guards Airborne Unit which Has a BMD-3 and a BMP-2 along with a BTR-D as a Logi. They have 4 Squads of Infantry with each squad in a M113 APC and another 2 Squads each Taking an M1064 to provide Fire Support and they Head right for the Objective on their side of the Map closer towards the Center. They get pinned down by the BMD-3 on a Ridgeline to their Northeast and the BMP-2 and 2 of the Russian Airborne Squads are Pushing in from the East. The 4 Infantry Squads Dismount and Turtle up while the M113's Move around trying to Engage the BMP-2 as well as Pin down the 2 Airborne Squads. The BMD-3 is Spotted and Someone in the Four Squads calls in a Mortar Strike. He Calls Out "Mortars on a BMD-3 at 0-6-0 Degrees roughly 1,000 Yards." The Mortars Respond by Letting them know that a Spotting Round is Inbound with it's Time to Impact as the ETA. The Spotter/Soldier sees it land Near Enough to the BMD-3 and then calls out "Roger, 2 Tubes, 3 Salvos, 2 Shots per Salvo. Fire For Effect!" And then the Mortars start Firing the 12 Rounds Towards the BMD-3. If the BMD-3 were to Move (Because why would you just stay in one spot after having a Mortar Shell land nearby), then the Process would have to start all over again but instead on the BMP-2 and the 2 Airborne Squads. As for the Missiles, A common trick with ATGM's in general is to Fire them Above the Target and then slowly Set the Target in your Sights so that the ATGM acts along the lines of the FGM-146 Javelin and Impacts the Top of the Vehicle. I've seen this done many times by the War Thunder Community as you can basically Trick shot a TOW Missile from Being right up against a Piece of Terrain like an Escarpment and Kill of Soviet-Era Main Battle Tanks like the T-72's and the T-80's like it's nobody's business. Let me know what you think about this and I'll catch you in your next video man! In case anyone was wondering, I spent about an hour Typing this up!
difference between t-72 and t-90 (i used them both multiple times and tested out t-90) t-90 has an upgraded motor, which makes it an unbelievebly fast tank to go on straight line roads, but it has worse maneuver capabilities. You dont need to, but have to hold handbrake when you are turning with t-90, it does not turn easily as t-72. Also the bad thing about motor is its too loud so enemies can hear you from far away (when in comparison to t-72). When you start both engines you will hear the difference. T-90 has better armor in many areas but lacks a bit turret rotation speed against t-72. Against agile enemies you will have a bit harder time to turn against them. Last but not least, when you use spot tower (i mean F3) the gun is up side of the view, also turret hull blocks lots of view for the spotter of tank. long story short, t-72 > t-90 in many cases. But not durability and speed.

breh. I was hoping for AT LEAST the Ratnik era to be used but nope, The devs waited so long to do nothing that Companies like Technikom and Armakom are being replaced by TRIAD-TKO and Classcom with it's new VKBO 3.0. I wonder if the infantry will ever be updated.
You Forget de M113a3 Cage version not in the Jensen Range but in layer and sdk
the mortar carrier can annihilate any FOB in minutes
FINALLY!!!! (don’t even have a pc let alone squad)
I'm glad the US Army finally got an Armored detachment. I thought it was really stupid that the Marines got an Armored unit but the Army didn't, given that the Army always had a stronger emphasis on heavier units than Marines even back when they still had MBTs.
Boutta cook with that mortar. 😍😍😍
bruh that 120 mm mortar is an area attack with bigger range then grad? MERICA?
Squad is making cool stuff. I wonder if and when we will get the ability to use the iron back-up sights on scopes tho (you can make them a bit more difficult to differentiate from standard irons or what ever)
Just wait for the Bradley's command recon thing to be able to lase targets for beam riding atgm's
Do the cope cages actually do anything in game (sorry i dont mean to bashing it just dont know what theyre called in real life)
Me everytime i hear someone mention the kornet ATGMs:🍧🍨
I just want my damn fast ropes
That Tow wire is nasty it does kill people on the ground. Like decapitation.
Realy cool additions but I don't think I will play this game until they add the french army
As someone who's seen "Red Cap" on WETA UK, Played a decent amount of Tank and Dogfighting Simulators and Seen ArmA 3 Artillery Strikes, I can Safely say that the Correct Method to call in Artillery Support would be to Give the Battery to Direction your Facing for the Target in Degrees along with the Distance between you and the Target, then call out three numbers:
• The First Number will deal with how many Howitzers or Mortars are in the Battery Firing the Bombardment.
• The Second Number is How many Salvoes you want the Battery to Fire during the Bombardment.
• The Third and Last Number is How many Rounds (Shells for Howitzers or Bombs for Mortars) you want in Each Salvo for the Bombardment
After The Direction of the Target from You in Degrees and the Targets Range has be Relayed, the Battery will send a Spotting Round down range so the Spotter or Soldier Calling in the Bombardment can see if the Rounds will land at least in the General Area of the Target.
Thanks
Much love
did they ever change there unrealistic "realistic" gun recoil and gameplay yet?
I can't stand getting mortared D: probably a skill issue but it's no fun for me
This was a great update, them basically confirming MANPADs really makes me think we'll see those CAS helos reappear too
As a pilot, I would love if they add CAS abilities to the heli’s
No I don't they confirmed MANPADs so much as they confirmed future SPAAGs
@@CGHELIPILOThere u go u got ur cas heli !
@@SAMPMods W, can’t wait to rain hell with these things
difference between t-72 and t-90 (i used them both multiple times and tested out t-90)
t-90 has an upgraded motor, which makes it an unbelievebly fast tank to go on straight line roads, but it has worse maneuver capabilities.
But not durability and speed.
sounds like player skill actually matters now and you are not boned when its light vs heavy
"These animations look increadible!"
meanwhile the random belt of ammo appearing out of nowhere: 2:32
Bruh, just imagine the character took it from an assistant or an already prepped belt. They don't need to animate every single thing.
@@CertifiedGoonerMan I mean, but they didn't do that, they didn't even go through the effort of hiding it, it's kind of gross honestley, that they think this is the quality of content we deserve in a major update.
You gotta remember someone is getting a paid a decent wage to do that animating, these the animations of some blender amiture.
@@tirushone6446 I mean yeah I agree on the part that they didn't bother hiding it or implicating my previous comment. Maybe it's a placeholder...or maybe they have other task to do.
Edited stuff: Also, you don't have to call someone "amiture" when they make something you don't like. You can critique but don't call names bruh. Why don't you animate that better than the person you called "amiture" and see how easy it is to animate.
@@tirushone6446you got problems. Does your mom still tie your shoes?
@@CertifiedGoonerMan i'd hope so
if only squad was easy to understand and get into a game.
If just OWI make the shtora 1 system on the t-90 works
This will be perfect 😢
That mortar is OP
Oh snapped 🚀
Forgot to mention that the Bradly can rapid fire its0 ATGM's
i wonder when we will get the option to choose desert gun camo for dessert maps and woodland camo for wooded maps, so we dont have to switch
no comment on the huge change with regard to 7 layer rass instead of 5!?!?!
I wonder how many Generation Kill jokes we will get now. With the MK-19
The flight instability on the TOW is downright awful, hope they change it. The stability in 7.0 is honestly closer to what it is irl then this is.
i was going delete the game but after updated my favored vehicle now is m1064 120mm man itis insane
who uninstalls squad lol?
@@SunnyLovetts I WAS GOING DO THAT lol
man i need to fund raise for a better PC, haven't been able to play Squad for the past year or so... :(
add separate sensitivity for binoculars so its not mixed with the 6x
Northern Ireland was returned to Ireland, apparently. @20:35
Up the Irish yeh?😂
I just notice this patch the game no longer crash when I unplug my headphone
Does your tank still come to a full halt when you try to go over a little plastic bucket ?
So when are getting the Swedish CV90?
Hey MioDawg, how do you get your game to look the way it does? I've been tinkering with my graphics settings but I never found something that I can settle with
wish they could improve the graphics man. this game is 9 years old
Hope they implement the bfist update soon because rn is just a worse bradley
