I was stuck on this forever, and this video didn't help me in the way it did others. I noticed that you had a BT bubble option as you scrolled, but I didn't. Turns out I had to turn off BT OEM in the system settings under OEM something. Hope this continues to help for more years to come lol

That and being able to play music from Pandora without it being done through Bluetooth. My version is 1.14.0 . Also how would I be able to use the aux cord on this. I want to be able to play my music an the headunit display the song name artist title. I love this radio and I hate to have to upgrade it to one of the newer models. I know this video was posted 11 years ago and the forums ain't much help. So helppp.
You can get Pandora and Aha to work also basically using the same steps you mentioned, but your phone MUST support of Bluetooth profile called SPP, the Galaxy Note 2 and Note 3 both support SPP so it should work, I got mine to work but it was kinda a pain

I realize this is an old video and its a shot in the dark, but my kenwood stopped connecting to my phone. I've had zero issues for the last 3 years. I unpaired it from my phone, cleared all the connected devices on the kenwood, and I still can't get kenwood to find my phone or my phone to find the kenwood.
Can you figure out how to control and change the vehicle's main display settings, units, and other stuff that I cannot figure out at all. I bought the car with this unit, and the date is correct, but some things I need to change and have no idea how. :)
i have no way to delete the 5 previous devices on mine. i can't connect because of this. i press and hold on the previous devices. nothing. no option or setting to delete. if i use the knob it just adjusts the volume. remote doesn't do jack.
KaptainMyke Go to the menu to remove pair devices and if the buttons are grayed out then you need to wait for the unit to think for a little while I think 3 to 5 minutes and then they should change to white and allow you to select them.

EDIT: GOT IT TO WORK A DIFFERNT WAY. I had so much trouble when I got the galaxy note 9 but had no problem with my s7. I played my music by selecting pandora then turning on bluetooth, selecting the car and it would just play. ***opened connection device list and selected the car from the bluetooth on my phone and it popped up on the kenwood asking to pair. again now I just open pandora and music will play and music only stops if I select radio or disc. hope this helps someone

That is done on the GPS side. So open up the navigation an go to settings then it should be easy from there.
