2023 here.. I have model DNX6990HD and my question is did they ever fix that where it will read title artist song..? That and being able to play music from Pandora without it being done through Bluetooth. My version is 1.14.0 . Also how would I be able to use the aux cord on this. I want to be able to play my music an the headunit display the song name artist title. I love this radio and I hate to have to upgrade it to one of the newer models. I know this video was posted 11 years ago and the forums ain't much help. So helppp.

Can you figure out how to control and change the vehicle's main display settings, units, and other stuff that I cannot figure out at all. I bought the car with this unit, and the date is correct, but some things I need to change and have no idea how. :)

I was stuck on this forever, and this video didn't help me in the way it did others. I noticed that you had a BT bubble option as you scrolled, but I didn't. Turns out I had to turn off BT OEM in the system settings under OEM something. Hope this continues to help for more years to come lol

5 years later and I can finally connect. How sad.the trick was deleting all other paired phones. I have a different kenwood model but figured it out. Just had to delete paired phones. You’re a genius.

My kenwood has no Bluetooth Setup in Setup menu and when i click the telephone, the Bluetooth Setup is not touchable too. What should i do sir?

I realize this is an old video and its a shot in the dark, but my kenwood stopped connecting to my phone. I've had zero issues for the last 3 years. I unpaired it from my phone, cleared all the connected devices on the kenwood, and I still can't get kenwood to find my phone or my phone to find the kenwood.

old vid new stereo to me ,you commented that if tow boxes were gray you have lates version ,have gray boxes but your stereo says 1.7.0 mine 1.5.0 but boxes are gray any thoughts

Thanks for the video, but my opinion is this radio is still a piece of crap. Slow and unresponsive. There's much better options off of Alibaba direct from China. If I had to do it over again I wouldn't give 200 bucks for this piece of crap

same issue with the 6990HD I've been trying to troubleshoot... just have to waste a bunch of time to clear out the devices... 5 device cap is pretty lame, but yeah it is old. I would never buy a navigation model again, but rather stick to android auto units for significantly less money. Thank you for making this video!
