Hello again, so I have the Green card. I would like the Gold. If and when I do get approved for the Gold. Should I then cancel the Green? I have read and watch conflicting answers. Or just keep the Green card to show good payment history. Thanks for the video.
I can’t answer that for you, Joel. It’s strictly your call. Always use your own discretion with these credit cards, because ultimately you’re held responsible for them. Thanks for watching.
I don't have an answer for that in regard to the odds, Adam. Amex does let you see if you'll be approved before submitting your application. That's one of the great benefits of Amex personal cards. Thanks for watching.
I use to think like that, but you have to look at all of the perks to see if that annual fee is worth it. To me, personally, the $250 annual fee isn't a problem for me because Amex provides an annual dining credit of $120 and they also provide an annual Uber credit of $120 (rides or food) that alone wipes out the annual fee. Similarly, the Capital One Venture X has an annual fee of $395 but they also give you an annual travel credit of $300 to use for purchases along with numerous travel perks and lounges you'll get access to that will offset the annual fee ***IF*** you're a traveler.

I keep hearing about this card. American Express must be gold standard when it comes to credit cards?
It's a great card. Is Amex the gold standard? That's all subjective. Thanks for watching, Blake.
Just finally got approved for the Amex Hilton Honors credit card. Going for the Amex Green card or Amex Gold card next.
Congrats! Thanks for watching.
What would be the income requirement for the gold? Could a student working a part time job be approved? Assuming they have good credit history
It depends on your credit report and how comfortable Amex is with your income. Ultimately, it's their decision. Thanks for watching.
Awesome content bro! What kind of camera do you use ? you just got a sub for sure!
R100. Thanks for watching, Vito.
Other than being a foodie can I spend only monthly bills?
That’s strictly up to you. Food and grocery get 4x points with the card, so that’s why people often mention those things. Thanks for watching.

What are the odds of getting approved for this if you you successfully completed a debt consolidation program and your score is over 700 now

Great Info 💪🏾
Thanks for watching, Shaun.
I recently got approved for a platinum card. Would it make sense to get the gold card? ( for business).
It all depends on if you'll get the most out of it. I have the Gold business and I gain points fast with it. Thanks for watching, Tarik.
Don’t like annual Fees
Thanks for watching, Stephen.
