This trailer makes the show seem a million times better than it actually was.
Definitely gorier in the trailer. Like the show is definitely better than say Secret Invasion and She-Hulk, I enjoy the slower moments, the finale just bothered me. But not as much as other MCU shows who have done it worse.

No multiverse, no global threats. A local story of the badass characters is something Marvel has been missing for a long time.
Literally every TV show ever made is a multiverse story - because that's just how everyday reality works

This looks like the Andor of Marvel. A show most people didn't want, about a side character nobody thought needed a show but seems way better than anything else that has been recently produced.

Echo's new logo is for advertisement while the original logo that was introduced in Comic-Con is used in the opening credits for the series.
Someone at Marvel definitely saved this show. Those entire re-writes in the last few months I guarantee were 100 percent needed

They are probably giving this a test run for the R Deadpool and possibly amping up future Wolverine combat, and of course the Daredevil show, whenever they work out the kinks on that one.

I was not expected this to be TVMA & that makes me much more excited. Marvel needs some mature storytelling for the more mature fans. Hella stoked.
Same here, I'm shocked at that, at first I thought it would be restricted to kingpin punching a man to a bloody fist but then I saw a guy get shot in the throat. This is daredevil vibes here.

Yeah... I don't know if merciless violence is necessarily "mature storytelling." But it definitely fits who the characters are.
You can still pull off quality, mature story telling without gore/being overly violent.... Violence doesn't automatically mean better quality.

This went from being the most "who asked" show in the MCU lineup to looking like a genuinely interesting and exciting show
to me im hoping disney leans into this tv-ma rating. This should show us what they'll do with a show/movie that they give this rating. and hopefully if its good then i might have higher hopes for this new Deadpool movie

I honestly hope Echo becomes the underdog of the TV show lineup. People have mostly had negative opinions on this show ever since the title card was announced, and now with just one well edited trailer, people are starting to appreciate it out of nowhere. If the entire show matches the same energy of this trailer, then this will be quite the surprise hit no one saw coming

I've been pumped for this since it was announced.
I figured it'd be different, and I wanted more of her character.
I wasn't expecting this tone, though, and I like it. This will make it stand out and hopefully draw people back in. We need more variety, so I'm glad they're finally stepping into the darker stuff. Just hope it turns out well.
She wasn't vert interesting in Hawkeye and that show itself was mediocre, so you cant really blame people for not being excited for this.
This trailer does look amazing though, but so was Secret invasion's trailer. So I hope the show is just as good.

I’m very happy about the fact that it was 6 episodes and re-edited to be just 5. It should mean they won’t be stretching it out unnecessarily, like they have with shows in the past. This is actually a great teaser and has me quite excited to watch the show

Like with Loki Season 2. IMO If had been only three to four episodes, it would have been amazing.
I saw the first 2 episodes in a pre-screen where they gave us a questionnaire at the end. I was kind of disappointed in those 2 episodes. The tone felt wrong and it seemed to drag. hearing they tightened it up enough to eliminate an entire episode AND based on the tone of this trailer (which does not match the tone of the pre-screens I saw), I'm way more excited now than I was then. I'm guessing they took people's reactions seriously and made a bunch of changes for the better
I really hope this doesn’t disappoint. It actually looks good. Hopefully the trailer lives up to my expectations I had for secret invasion

As a diehard Netflix Daredevil fan, I'm impressed. The violence, grit, and tone is on point. Hope this will transcend into the actual show and Born Again, and I extremely hope the writing will be good.
The head writer worked on Better Call Saul. That's what's selling the show for me personally.
If only those echoes were replaced with additional shots of Fisk's fists breaking more bones.

It kinda sucks that this show hasn't been a priority for marvel and it's been set behind other projects a few times because this looks AMAZING.
I think the strikes have played a huge factor in the show being pushed back as far as it did. With filming not being able to resume until SAG-AFTRA reaches a deal with the AMPTP, Marvel probably wanted to save some already-finished projects for release next year to kill some time. Unless the strike continues into 2024, Echo will be releasing just as Deadpool 3 resumes fliming

@@davidb.6681 The first couple Daredevil seasons are pretty well loved because of the mature portrayal of MM and the King Pin.
A lot of people weren't interested and dismissed it at first, with some of said people having... let's say "less than progressive" mindsets. Those people are being reeeeeeal quiet right now.

Ok, I liked the character on Hawkeye but I wasn’t sure if she needed her own show or even merited one. This trailer convinced me otherwise, looks pretty good and has a familiar gritty vibe like the Netflix shows.
If this had followed the comics, this show should have come out before secret invasion. She played a key role in starting that storyline.

Don't get your hope high even 1%. This show is boring. Confirmed by insiders and scoopers. Thats why they are dropping entire season in one go.
It feels like someone (probably Fiegie) hit the panic button and said “Make it like the Netflix show” and all they took from that was “make it violent” calling it now - other than the violence the writing won’t be up to par with The Netflix series

This. This is what the MCU DESPERATELY needs right now. A small scale character driven story, that’s mature in tone and theme. If the show is as good as this trailer, this will definitely be a win for Marvel and Disney, and hopefully this will set them in a better direction going forward. So far this looks the most promising out of all their other projects🤞

I swear, almost every MCU show has the same final episode: main hero believes in themselves, unlocks hidden powers and beats the baddies with their friends in loud, colorful and meaningless final fight. Substitute actors and you wont make a difference. The show was made just to praise and to throw a bone to native americans, just like Kahhori in "What If...?" 5/10

I still cant find any reason. Kingpin and daredevil i saw them in hawkeye and she hulk series. They're gonna obv be secondary characters in this one. The main character is an unknown anti-hero type character that i dont even know will even have a place in the main universe.

I’m gonna keep my hopes low for this one seeing Marvel’s track record recently, but I *am* interested to see how far it goes.

This and "What If..." are more visceral than the other Marvel content out there. Refreshing to say the least. For the first time in a while, I'm looking forward to Marvel content.

Yeah but it’s kinda sad that the main character isn’t the exciting part. The only reason I want to watch it is Fisk, Daredevil, and the TV-MA rating.

it's a gangster movie about a girl boss that never smiles and punches people in the face while trying way too hard to be stoic and tough. Lol it's just like everything else they've made
i woudnt be shock if this show is actaully comedy and they just cut all the funny stuff to make it a dark trailer
Of course, it's TV-MA and they got the writers who worked on Netflix's Daredevil, Punisher, Breaking Bad, and Better Call Saul on this
I hate the fact that I know alot of actors off head and get excited everytime I see them take a role that suited them elsewhere, hope this one goes further than the previous Marvel Shows of this type

Daredevil’s small cameo that no one knew about is genius. Hope the story is as good as the quality of how this looks but I’m excited about it. No excuse for a PG-13 blade now 😊

The fact that this is a much darker and grittier MCU project has just raised my expectations for this show. At first, I didn't have that much hope for a show like this, but now, after seeing this trailer, I'm hyped all the way!!! Plus, Kingpin coming back is always a nice bonus.

It kinda of reminds of how I felt about Andor. I wasn’t excited for that show either, but than the saw the trailers for it and thought “ok, I’m in”. Here’s hoping it will live up to the same hype of that show and a good successor to daredevil and punisher.

This trailer shows that it doesn't matter if the character is a major one. If you know what you are doing, you can turn a low level -in terms of popularity- character into a fan favorite. Lets hope that the series is as good as the trailer.
I mean thats always been the case with comic characters or just fiction in general lol it all depends on the writer/artist/team that does it
@@andrewg9107I know absolutely nothing about the show or the comic book character, and this looks incredible. I thought this a new Marvel movie, but with an R rating. I didn't know anything about Guardians 1 either and I saw that on opening day.
