My iphone 7 was restored and I keep it for months. I was surprised when I turn on the iPhone today, it was asking my password which should not be like this because I've already restore it. Then I found your page, I tried this right away. First, it was failed several times. Turns out I haven't update my itunes version. Second, my USB cable is no good (broken), so I had to switch the cable then the restoring could be completed. If anyone wants to try this, make sure your iTunes updated and also your USB Cable still in a good condition. THANK YOU SO MUCH for this tips Daniel.

Like a dork I changed my passcode on my iPhone 8 Plus to a word at four in the morning. I changed it so my kids would stay out of my phone. Well I wake up this morning and for the life of me couldn't remember what I set it to. I had a clue but wasn't 100 percent. I looked all over youtube and your video was the best and easiest. I did lose a some photos but that's all. Thank you so much for taking time to make videos like this. Now im back to getting all my settings the way I like it. Now I realize when you customize your phone settings and lose them its very uncomfortable. Its like when someone drove your car and moved your seat wheel and mirrors. It takes a minute to get it back to the way you like it.

I tried the iTunes thing with both iphone 6 & 7 (both hand-me-downs) & can't reset either of them! I got thru the screen lock on 7 but 6 is stuck on the lock screen & won't even power off... Also, the one I was able to get thru screen lock on, is black & glass covered, but it IS AN IPHONE 7, I looked up the actual prod number & plus, it only has a single hole punch camera...

I have just reset my iPhone 5s and when I go to set it up again I am unable to press "Set up manually." There is no issue with the screen as the phone responds to me on other sections of the setup like setting the language. It's like the OS doesn't realise there is a button there to press. I have tried updating, restarting and resetting again but when I get to the screen to select set up manually it will not let me press that.

Mine reset and when i tried again it had gone back zero, did i need to pause before rebooting? did i wait too long? Ok, so i just kept rebooting every 5 mins and stopping any new download windows. That time the process ended and everything worked. Restoring firmware now. Thanks. I literally just finished restoring my phone to type in the wrong pass code ugh now I have to do it all over again
I have just reset my iPhone 5s and when I go to set it up again I am unable to press "Set up manually." There is no issue with the screen as the phone responds to me on other sections of the setup like setting the language. It's like the OS doesn't realise there is a button there to press.
I have tried updating, restarting and resetting again but when I get to the screen to select set up manually it will not let me press that.

Because it has to be the Apple ID linked to your iCloud. It may be different from the one you use at the App Store.

You're not supposed to turn off your phone. You need to put It in Recovery Mode, like I demonstrated.
Mine reset and when i tried again it had gone back zero, did i need to pause before rebooting? did i wait too long? Ok, so i just kept rebooting every 5 mins and stopping any new download windows. That time the process ended and everything worked. Restoring firmware now. Thanks. Was getting complicated asking seller for her apple id. bought it used and she already gave me her pass code but i don't feel comfortable asking this stranger for her apple id! It was sent in the post!

I just want to say thankyou ,what you said about calendar virus on an iPhone I had on my I pad and went on app store to get an anti virus app which all say are for free until you download and once you have they are only free for a little while ,I was really worried about how many times the virus crept telling me my iPad was corrupted,your video was really quick straight forward and easy to understand ,so thankyou very much ,brilliant cheers
