I just recently found your channel, it is maybe just what I needed. It is so inspiring to see the beautiful, productive, rolling hills (and lucky you to have a tabletop as well) that were a part of my life for 45 years, I lived in Marshalltown and I think I share the love of this land with the other Central Iowans that feel the special bond for this perfect place on earth. I also am heartened by your second vocation and in the respectful manner that you perform the tasks required. I have always admired the cemeteries like the one shown, the headstones are a part of the landscape, they are not meant to compete with nature by erecting a stone edifice or mausoleum, I think it says we were a part of this treasured land while alive and have returned to the place we loved for eternal rest. It has been 20 years since living in Iowa, I live in constant summer in South FL, in an equally beautiful location that lacks any of the reverence my hometown still holds for me. Thank you for the home movies, and like you, I still have supper in the suppertime.
First of respect to the persons grave you were filling. Second it is so cool. You have a girlfriend that’s so wants to learn what you do. Granted she might not always get it right but she is trying so hard.
It is so good that Neva is interested in learning how to change oil and all the farm tasks. It is so important for all in the operation to know how to do everything. Cole is lucky that his sweet and pretty girlfriend wants to learn the farming life.
Great job with the grave and the oil change, Nave!!! You rock! Love to see strong, independent, young women (from a middle-aged strong, independent woman).
Hi Cole my name is Amanda and my son Knox is 6 years old and we live in Tennessee. He loves to watch you and your family. He knows all of you by name. He asks me everyday "hey mom did cole put on a new farming video". You have inspired him so much that he wants to be a farmer when he grows up. I told him it costs lots of money to be a farmer and tells me its okay mom if Cole can do it so can I. Thank you so very much for giving him that hope and dream to become a farmer one day. You and your family are so amazing and have touched my family with all the positivity y'all put off. Please keep up all the great work and never change. I was wondering if you could give him a shout out in one of your videos. Thank you and bless you and your family.

@@kaseythomas9646 Nave states my point in the video when she talks about wanting to learn vehicle maintenance in the past she was dismissed from learning these skills for being female. I am well and truly aware of the day and age we live in unfortunately not everyone has caught up to the rest of us. Having myself lived in small town USA for several years I am also aware that social norms from the 50's are still prevalent across small town America. The respect and tenderness Cole shows Nave while teaching her about air filters shows that Cole is aware of these stereotypes too plus he is a natural teacher. So Kasey thanks for the attack but it was unwarranted. I suggest you turn your energies to more productive pursuits.
@@melw401 It wasn't meant to be an attack but an observation. I hold many traditional values, but also live where women have always contibuted corporately to the needs of the family. I wonder if being from the city just involved a different skill set. I know I stopped changing my oil when living in a metro area. It cost me almost as much, when you added disposal, finding a place to do it etc. We don't know that her dismissal wasn't just from her immediate circle. I looked back on what she said, and it was that she asked some people to show her and they said no. No reason given or motive. Why do we read things into what people say?

Tristan Whitman she got some for Christmas but i dont know why she didn’t wear them🤷🏻♀️darn kids❤️
Thanks Cole!
Get Daddy🌽⭐ some Vitameetavegiman so he will feel like a 👑 again! More 🌭 !!!
😄
DCS will probably have to explain what that is if he hasn't watched I love Lucy. I don't think he watches much tv.
ROFL! Vitameatavegimin may not cure your flu, but it sure improves your mood.
Cleanliness is next to Godliness! Patience is a virtue! All that said, you all are awesome stewards of what God has entrusted you with. Love watching you all! ❤️🙏🏻🇺🇸
You should do a whole video on just the geo. You love that thing so much there's gotta be a story behind it.
You and Neva will ride into the sunset after the wedding in the geo 😉
SkyroofNova72 his grandparents bought it new and when it turned 20 decided they wanted a different car. The Geo was low maintenance and sooo good on gas Cole loved that car
Cole, good video. Glad to see she wants to learn things, not many girls willing to learn these things now days. Hey just so you know that little Honda Trail 70 is a bit of a collector bike these days. A cheap one goes for a thousand dollars anytime. I used to have one, they were neat bikes and ran forever.
no problem with Nava being happy about it...the spirit has gone home to be with the Lord ..thats just an empty vessel
I had to laugh, and realize I might just be addicted to your channel. I was thinking it's about time for the Cornstar family to post, and sure enough there it is. Thank you for sharing your story with us out here. They always make me smile, and know there are such good people out there in the world.
I would pay to learn how to change my oil. You could host a class and I'm sure tons would show up.
Jedi Karen takes 5 minutes to learn
That pet Freightliner warms my heart. I worked as an occupational health nurse in the assembly plant in St Thomas, Ontario years ago. I knew those babies when the chassis consisted of 2 rails at the start of the line. 😘🇨🇦
Cole, I'm afraid she'll get her hair caught in a creeper wheel. Help her get her hair up please.GOD bless you Brother !
🤞🏻
Nave, suggestion. Put your hair in a stocking cap or hair net when using a creeper, plus the dirty floors. Nothing worse than running over your hair with a creeper wheel.. been there, done that
Cole, I think you’ve found a winner with Nave.
mines over in the states and shes in the u.s military wich shes planing coming home to canada wich im proud of her what she does
Michael Mac Tavish My ex was a marine. In the first three years of marriage, he was gone 18 months. It takes a special person to be a military spouse.
@@middlelle yeah im lucky i wouldnt give up her even if she gets called to go to the fields im glad im keeping her for long life wich thats what she gets paid for at the military job plus i work too wich were glad :)
Cole, you need to give her a BIG HUG, It builds a bond, she is a beautiful girl.
Get Nava some gloves for Valentines Day, you guys look good together 💯💯💯💯👍👍👍
Love you're sharing and showing her how to do everything. God bless you two
Happy to see your sweetie learning the Cornstar operation. She is a great addition!
Hey we didn't get the "This is Coooooole the cornstar" at the intro :(
I just recently found your channel, it is maybe just what I needed.
😇
First of respect to the persons grave you were filling.
Second it is so cool. You have a girlfriend that’s so wants to learn what you do.
Granted she might not always get it right but she is trying so hard.
Get Well DC!!
I can’t wait till Cole and nava get married
Time will be the test
Just make sure to name the boy Jesse David Cornstar 🌽 🌽
Undue pressure.
Joan In Florida your right
Same
Cool to see a young lady figuring it out. BTW you need a solution for your ponytail when around machines and especially on the creeper.
I had a Honda 70 when I was growing up on the farm. I took that thing everywhere! Then, when I was in College, my Dad traded it for a three-wheeler.😡
Prairie Viking oh no!
It is so good that Neva is interested in learning how to change oil and all the farm tasks. It is so important for all in the operation to know how to do everything. Cole is lucky that his sweet and pretty
girlfriend wants to learn the farming life.
She's a keeper bro!👌💯thats awsum she not afraid get dirty!!👍🔥 and gettin comfy wit the camera!😎✊💯
Great job with the grave and the oil change, Nave!!! You rock! Love to see strong, independent, young women (from a middle-aged strong, independent woman).
OMG....YOU JUST HAD YOUR GIRLFRIEND CLEAN YOUR CAR!!!!
I can remember having long hair like her's... I saw her roll under the car I just knew she was going to run over her hair with the creeper wheel and scream
57 RED ROOSTER It only takes once. I ve done it. Just keeps getting tighter.
🤞🏻
Don't forget wash your face! Lol Neva Is it good little helper. She just needs practice.. great video
Great vid cole..I have say young brother..nave is a keeper..better get a ring on her fast..lol..God bless you both!
Mike D. and a ring don't mean much these days! if they want to move on a ring don't mean nothing but I wish them well for sure.
Time will be the test
So happy to see any female learning about mechanical things.
I think Nave is actually the only one who looks good wearing those shades
Cole, you are a very lucky man to have Nave. In your life. God bless both of you.
It good to see u teaching her the farming way of life it, sure will be handy in the future!
I love that Nave is comfortable with switching out from the 'traditional' lane that girls are expected to stay in. And I love that you hand over the steering wheel Cole. A lovely girl for a lovely guy. Nave please tie your beautiful hair back!
"Expected to" you do know it's 2020? I was changing my oil with my first car in 1976!
@@kaseythomas9646 stop embarrassing yourself.
@@melw401 I'm not at all embarrassed, I happen to think we're entitled to our opinion without being mean. I realize you're just not nice. Thankfully I love Cole and Nave and the Cornstar crew. They always uplift my day!
Love seeing how comfortable nava is becoming with the camera‼️
Daddy Cornstar had me drawing up , that was close ! LOVE YOU MAMA CORNSTAR!!!!!!!
Buy a better mask your lungs are important . You will need your lungs when you marry..
LOL
Its nice to see you g people doing things for themselves, and not just sitting on their phones.
Hneiva is so calming to watch. She has such a beautiful light. You two work wonderfully together. 💖💖💖
Naieve is so hyper and you are so calm
