- Yep, it's already 7 months ago I moved to the Netherlands.🇳🇱 Wondering what's it like living as a foreigner in the Netherlands? And how it is with the current job situation in the Netherlands? Let's find out in this video!
And I must say: Life in the Netherlands (or should I say 'life in Holland') has been really amazing so far. It's interesting to slowly get used (and adapt) to the Dutch culture and Dutch traditions. To be continued!

Lots of love,
Adi & Myra
Your video, its introductory part had some magical visual movie-story-telling, and then you went into talking head. And that was a good story. Well done.
Thank you. Gald that you enjoyed the video 😃😃
I’m moving to the Netherlands soon, and the intro of this video just got me even more excited!! The best intro I've come across so far!
This video has a very good vibe. And yes: Being a (serious) expat it is sometimes necessary to sit outside in the rain and let yourself get absolutely wet :-) Meaning: You need to accept the circumstances of the place you live and take on what is there in the moment. Sometimes it is akward and not so comfortable but it educates you how to recover or how to adapt (the umbrella ) and see for yourself you are strong enough to survive and do well! :-) :-)
Pretty much spot on Hans. Well said 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed the video tho 😊😊
What a beautiful garden you two have!
Yes, we love it. But lots of work to be done in the garden still.
Will there be snakes in them?
3 months in and loving it!
Good luck Adi.. Mira is a true guiding force, no doubt about that..
Yes, that's very true. Thanks for watching 😃
Hi you two, I just love your videos. My son and his family moved to the Netherlands and you really teach me so much about their new country. I so wish to be able to come and stay there too, but as a pensioner, it will just be too expensive but I will surely be over for a good visit. You are just giving so much living in the Netherlands information. I am already busy teaching myself the Dutch language and my own Afrimaans home language and my German studied and lecturing language helps a lot. I actually understand the Dutch language quite well. Thank you again!
Hello,
Thank you, we are glad that this video can help you in some way to know more about The Netherlands. We really hope that you get to visit here soon. If you already know German then Dutch shouldn't be a problem :) and most people here are very kind, and friendly, sometimes I understand them in Dutch and reply in english and that's also totally fine with them :)
Cheers,
Adi :)
Great job Adi! I really have started looking forward to each video you two create. Keep it up!
Thanks a lot Matt. We really appreciate your support
It’s so lovely watching your videos. The drone shots are super spectacular.
I’m in Melbourne. We are under lockdown for the 4 th time. The Dutch weather sounds a bit like Melbourne’s weather. All the best with your work.
Thank you!! 😄 true, we both have lived in Melbourne and the weather is almost the same, the Netherland can just become colder and Melbourne warmer (and less rain) 😜
I've been here for a year and I'm also doing freelance work as an animator. The network is truly essential as you said. And knowing the language can help greatly!
True!! Good luck with your freelance work 😊
Really sick video! All the best and good luck with this journey
Thanks a lot Patricia ☺️☺️
Your channel is so underrated !!
Haha thanks 😅
Bro I hope you doing well. This is pro video. Keep it up 👍
Thanks Sachin!! Hope you're doing well too 😁
For an English speaker, Dutch is easiest (least difficult) to learn. English and Dutch are closely related.
True! Gives some hope haha 😄 practicing Dutch everyday!
amazing vid again and love your attitude.. thats the way to go..
You live life
Thanks so much!
Would love to cycle around Netherlands. Nice videography.
Yes, it’s so much fun to ride bicycles here except when it’s freezing cold 🥶

@Happy Kitchen In the Netherlands there is a variety of international quisine, so if you don't like the Dutch food you have plenty of options.
@@komkwam sounds great cuz i like to try new things but one of my favorite things to do is to discover to traditional food of each country in the country itself so once in Netherlands i would want to have Dutch food every single day

Big Brother, please make more job opportunity related videos in netherland , Australia 🙏🙏😁
Ah, now I get it 4:10 why your videos are of such high quality. I was wondering for a new RUclipsr how is it that your videos are of so such high quality.
Wowwww it could make a documentary in Netflix
Thank you so much!! Haha let's hope so, one day.. 😁😁
Nederland Waterland Dutch grammar is not so bad. It find it quite a bit simpler than German. And hey, I'm an English speaker...we have all kinds of strange things in our language. Mixing with the local people is better, definitely. I don't want to be a "typical American tourist" and I am not. I am in the U.S. a volunteer firefighter, in addition to my baan...energie handelaar.... The fire service in Germany and much of the Netherlands is like the volunteers here, and through FB I have made contact with many. So a different path into the culture. But, as I am a firefighter, they accept me as a part of their community. Knowing the language helps... alot.
Thank for the insight, yes, that is very true 😀
Looks like I’m gonna move to holland pretty soon 😋😋
Yayyy 😀😀
@@LetsMeetAbroad 💃💃 I like what you guys do. First I’m starting to look for a Dutch girlfriend😋😋😋
Hahaha that makes the process a bit easier 😜
@@LetsMeetAbroad 😂😂😂
Inspiring
Thanks Anu 😊😊
Lovely garden .
Thank you Dhanya! 😄
For English speakers, Dutch is about the easiest language to learn.
Yes I think so too..
Brother please tell me some cheap university for ms data science and computer science for non eu student?
It rains almost 200 days in one year in Netherlands and in Belgium, trust me guys the weather is total shit especially if you are coming from a sunny countries. So keep in mind before thinking of moving.

1:21 - Forgot to open the lens cap?
Haha sharp eye 😉
Yes, if you want to take part in Dutch society: Learn Dutch. If you need local friends: Learn Dutch. Remember that this is a Dutch society where we speak Dutch and live in a Dutch culture. No matter how you look at it: English is a foreign language to us Dutch people. We more or less speak foreignish English. And the only reason why we do so is to serve the foreigners. Do you want to stay foreigner/stranger/visitor? By all means stick to English. In that case the message you are providing to the Dutch is: I do not care to learn Dutch, nor am I interested in Dutch culture. And you are also saying: Basically I am just briefly here and soon I am on my way out of here. You'll find out that the conversations with the Dutch will stay superficial and getting Dutch friends is going to be a challenge. It is all about respect, interest and investment. See If you are not interested in us... we are not interested in you! If you do not want to invest in yourself to learn Dutch, then we do not invest in you having a friendship with you. After all you are a guest in our country. And so you are a guest in our language as well, just like you are a guest in our culture. Want no longer to be a guest and become one of us? Learn to speak Dutch! And become Dutch as you take place in Dutch society.
Picture this:
What if I would want to go live in your country, and I refuse to speak the local language and stick to Dutch...and as a matter of fact I demand the locals of your country to talk back to me in Dutch as well... would that be respectful? Would that be in my personal interest? Would that lead to the desired achievement? Would that lead to local friends? Think about it !
Just saying...
You are right.
Hai adi IAM srinivas from mahabubnagar dist of TELANGANA state in India may I know from which state of India u belong
