- WHY WE MOVED AWAY FROM THE BUSY CITY LIFE - Exactly a month ago we moved away from the busy city life to our new house. And… last month has been crazy: renovating a house isn’t a ‘piece of cake'. But luckily, summer has come here in The Netherlands and we had some time to explore our new backyard! So, we got on our bicycles and explored our new home town. Join us on our little adventure 😊

being from a small village in the east of the Netherlands I still consider Lelystad a decently big city lol
haha yes of course. What's the name of your village?
These videos make me so excited about moving to NL! This place looks so pretty, I'd love to have a park right on doorstep..seems like you picked a good place!
Having a lawn at home and near by home is most beautiful thing in life, you are lucky if you live close by
It's so refreshing to see every video of yours...Wanting to see more and more...👌
Thank you!! 🤗 and more is coming!
Beautiful couple beautiful place beautiful music...that is real life fun, work hard .. . What life..
Thank you Suman :)
Congrats with your new home. 🙂
I love cities (my favorite are Amsterdam and Utrecht), but only to visit.
I live in Ede, a big town, not very busy, in the center of the Netherlands, near National Park “De Hoge Veluwe”. It’s surrounded by forests, heather fields, wheat fields and grasslands. It’s great to bike here and when the weather is good like now, I try to bike about 30-40 km every other day.
Thanks, Ede sounds like a nice place to live as well. May be we come some day there 🙂
Awesome video
Thanks Guiseppe! 😊😁
Iam a indian and I did my masters in utrecht and i also moved to dutch countryside near voorburg.
Keep exploring and do share with us!! 👍👍
Thanks for watching Shreya.. yes, we will for sure.
A real quiet area. Enjoy!
Yep it is!! Thanks 😊😊
Beautiful story telling 🌸🌸🌸
Bhaiya and Di this video defines the word “aesthetic life” the life in the NL is so so pleasant as it seems through your video, such a organised country and a country which has every taste of life from modern Rotterdam to retro Utrecht// you both are such a inspiration 💪🏼( living in Mumbai a city which super crowded where we all live in skyscrapers due to lack of space, super crowded trains and buses, the worst traffic ever but still kinda functional with its super fast pace of life and somehow the city manages to sprinkle a charm on us all, where if you do work for your dreams they do come true, like the NYC of India and also so so so safe and happening and open minded with liberal thoughts when compared to Delhi especially, or other cities in india (which are barely cities compared to Mumbai and Delhi) but living overseas is so much better with less crowd and competition but only thing is the Indian festive vibes of Garba-Dandiya during navratri, Diwali, Ganesh utsav, holi and other festivals which we celebrate here with top notch level excitement is a bit less overseas also we Indians start missing the crowded streets and markets😂)
Very well said
We live in Los Angeles, which is enormous and spread out across multiple smaller cities. Specifically, we currently live in Hollywood. Moving here 5 years ago it was a “never sleep” city and high energy, we initially enjoyed it but it was starting to wear us out, then COVID hit. Post-COVID however it’s nearly become unlivable and we are now planning our next move. I’ve lived all over the world, and while I must say the the weather of Southern California and the outdoor beach life is wonderful the daily livability, difficulty to get around, rising homelessness, escalating crime, and extremely high housing prices are pushing forward us to our next adventure which will probably not be in the United States. So, “let’s meet abroad?" ;-) #waitingforeuropetoopen
Wouh Hollywood, it always sounds as a dream to life there 😊 but yeah, every place has there downsides..Let's hope you will find a way to get to Europe soon 😁
Love it! Congrats on your new place
Thanks Rasika 😊😊
wow living in the lelystad ..I used to visit my auntie there 🤗 I hope I can meet you guys someday, soo awesome together 🤩
I LOVE cities! And I am fortunate to live just on the edge of Antwerp. So I am not in the city chaos and if I want (and yes sometimes I want to vary :) ) I am in the middle of a nature spot with trees and no sounds of civilization. There is a big park nearby for the daily movements (usually biking a bit) and there are tons of nice quiet spots for in the weekend. Or (if Corona finally ends) I will chose to go into the city and enjoy a drink or good food or a stroll watching other people do their thing :-)
Yeah that sounds perfect! The best of both worlds 😄 but luckily our countries are not that big, in 40 minutes we're also in the middle of Amsterdam! 😁
Sad to see you go, since I just moved to den haag. But I love your videography and I also kinda like seeing you guys explore a part of the country that I don't know yet. So I will stick around anyway ;p
Haha thanks Laurens! We both still work in Den Haag, so I am sure we're not done with Den Haag videos yet.. but we're happy you will stick around 😁😊
That was a great cinematic opening, again. Wow.
Thanks!! 😊😊
Yes the music really took me into a trance almost and hit me in the feels (feelings) kind of. Makes me want to enjoy my life more and do more living!
I really appreciate your take on life. Being from a small village, I dream of staying in metro but thn again seeing you guys make me feel that mixing both life style seem to be more fulfilling.
Thanks for watching, yes for us living in a big city for long term is almost a disaster 😆
You can try may be living in busy city for a couple of week and then see how you go. Some people love it
I grew up in Queens- part of New York City- so I will be a snob and say everywhere is smaller :-) That said, I lived in a very quiet part of Queens, more like where you live I think. I live now in the Hudson Valley, 100km north of Manhattan, so that should tell you a bit about how I feel about being in the middle of the action. My dad lived directly in Manhattan(my parents divorced when I was young), and worked for the New York Times- sometimes called "The Gray Lady", or being a snob again, "the newspaper of record". My grandfather worked in the Empire State Building. It's funny, but coming from New York, I never have to explain where I'm from. Everyone knows New York City.
Nice channel. I have seen a couple of your videos and they are very aesthetic. Keep going!
Thank you so much. We are glad you are enjoying the videos. 😊😊
Amazing guys, great progress 👏 Can't wait to see your finished kitchen! We have been talking lots about relocating to Netherlands or St. Maarten from Canada. Your journey is inspiring!
Hi Lynne, haha we can't wait for the kitchen to be done as well 😁 St. Maarten and the Netherlands; that's a huge difference! But I think both are a good option 😉
@@LetsMeetAbroad Yes, they both offer us Dutch citizenship options. Since my family is Dutch my understanding is its easier to switch to Dutch citizenship. My husband is Caribbean so St Maarten was a logical choice. But we truely live the Netherlands too. Your new area is exactly the type of thing we would look for too, access to pathways but still in a built up community.
why you want to relocate ? are you cold up there or what ?
The flat walls with white color got really nice! 😉 I love the garden!
I am in a city, but I like nature style and I want one day to do like you guys. I love nature, slowing down to appreciate life.
BTW - I am moving to the Netherlands now! I am excited! 😊
Hi Amanda, yeah that's nice!! We're in The Netherlands are you moving to? 😄
@@LetsMeetAbroad I am moving to Amsterdam. Where we can find more jobs that requires English. I can't await to explore the calmer places in the NL! :)
@@amandabastos2866 You will love it! Amsterdam is a great city. Just go a bit north or east from Amsterdam and you are in the middle of beautiful nature :)
@@LetsMeetAbroad Thanks for tip! I will definitely do it!
Maybe we guys stumble there in somewhere! =-)
Hi guys. Your place is coming on so well! How are you finding living at your new place. The Hague has a special place in my heart so hard to beat the feelings there but how does it compare? I hope that your enjoying your new environment!
What do you both do as day jobs! I'm curious and also keep the videos coming. Me and the family love watching them all and wish we was back in the Hague on our bikes as a family!
Have fun you both are really nice people!
Speak soon. Regards Keith
Hey Keith,

Hi, can you pls let me know which vaccine is allowed in Netherlands. I'm from India and planning to visit Netherlands soon.
And through news, I heard..only Covishield is acceptable and not Covaxin from India.
Pls assist.
Funny. I’m in Melbourne seeking to leave - most of your footage is of Melbourne.
Emmeloord, nog mooier dan Lelystad ;) haha
Haha wie weet ooit, maar eerst moet die trein er een keer komen 😜
And then you move to one of the most densely populated countries in the world to get some rest? It must be a very special place and you better don't tell everybody!! :>)
It seems to me you actually just switched one kind of busy for another kind of busy: "... has been crazy renovating a house"
Haha but this another kind of busy we don't mind luckily 😄 we love to be busy!
@@LetsMeetAbroad yes sitting on your ass while dad remodels your house because you lack the skills and money to do it yourself or pay for it
@@RViscara that's not very nice comment is it. @rviscara.
@@denhaagtrader8781 wow you are catching on aren't you. It wasn't intended to be it was intended to be brutally honest something these two millionals are clueless about.
I thought backyard was a garden lol
