Absolutely love the channel ideas for 2023. I definitely want to see practical uses on top of curated kits for different situations and even countries.
I get back from smashing Portillo's and there's freshness from Ron on the feed, it's a good day. That driver is making me rethink my view on Ultem, so sexy.
Love the 90 degree flashlight! Use the clip to attach it to a MOLLE loop on a pack shoulder strap, and you have hands free, forward facing illumination 👍 Have a great 2023!
Automovitive tech prepping out cars for paint Bondo, assembly disassembly, masking. I got into carrying a Leatherman skeletool for opening boxes, times when I need to put a licence plate away from my box, pliers and cutters for when I'm tying up parts. Pen, sticky notes, looking for a flashlight with good battery life since my stream light is dying after 5 years of use.
@@RonKwok thought about it, especially since it just isn't charging anymore and the light is really dim now, hopefully it'll fix it if not I have others 😁
If you’ve got the rechargeable model then the lithium is probably on its last few cycles after 5 years. Perhaps go with the same since it’s so reliable, or even the Fenix PD25R - USB-C rechargeable and it hits the 30-350 lumen range that you’re used to with the streamlight. Hope that helps and happy hunting man!
I'm an MSc student, leaving house early and coming back late night, commuting via buss/train combo. For me it means no sharp objects, as much as a medium SAK can force me to find another way to commute. Flashlights came in clutch this year, obviously for illumination at the laboratory or on the dark way home, but I also feel more safe with the idea of my Nitecore P10iX as a self defense tool. Anyone with the pocket space for it should try to EDC a tactical light, imo! The operation is always simple, the runtimes are super long, they're built like tanks. The obvious comparison is the size
Awesome input on flashlight carry. With those constraints on blades, might be better to carry a pseudo-sharp tool like a prybar or a Big Idea Designs Ti Slide. No explicitly sharp blade, but there’s an edge you can open packages with, pry things open, etc. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
I love spyderco I’ve always wanted a paramilitary since I’m a veteran it just speaks to me and it’s made in USA I have 2 cheaper spyderco knives hoping to get a para someday
I am a diesel mechanic. So all of the stuff that I carry is very helpful being in a shop. For instance I carry the Milwaukee fastback box knife. But to make up for just having that blade I carry a small Swiss with scissors, knife and nail file/ flathead screwdriver on it. Great video man👍
I'm thinking of getting the Gerber shard, I know you seemed to like it a couple of years ago... But would you still recommend it? 🤔 Also, nice videos 👍
The Shard is a solid piece of kit and you can't beat the price. It doesn't offer as much leverage as other "EDC prybars" but it serves its purpose well for light duty things 🔥
Solid carry and very fun video brotha 🤙🏽💯 what do you think of the ridge wallets ? It’s very minimalist and sleek I would love to see reviews on that or other brands because I know ridge is advertised all over the internet lol. Also hella pricey. Anyway happy new years bro!
Glad you enjoyed the video bro! I haven’t personally tested the ridge to speak on it, but like you said it’s well documented across the interwebs and on social ads. Might have to pick one up just to review and compare. Cheers bro and start 2023 with purpose!
Would love to see more for the person who works at home, and who are the weekender/weekendexplorer:) Love your vids, keep up the good work!!!!
Duly noted! Glad you enjoy the videos - keep it locked here for more!
I’m a forklift operator in a warehouse so I typically carry a box cutter, my we banter, a pen, some markers and a hank for my glasses
Nice loadout man!
Can’t wait for V2 of the R.E. 🔥
Hell yea man 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Sweet load out Ron! 🤘

@@RonKwok Always, baby! You're my buddy so I gotta come see what you're doing!
Another banger of a video Ron, Ultem has really grown on me I think I need some in my carry. Excited to see what you bring for 2023 ✊✊
Thanks bro! Ultem aesthetic has me feeling some kinda way and there’ll be more to come for sure. Cheers and glad you enjoyed!

5 years is an AWESOME working duration on a single battery. If the light output is all fine, why don’t you just pop a new battery in and carry on?

What was the name of the music playing in the background? A good jazzy beat for sure.

New subscriber and loving the content! Could you double check the link posted for the WKRMN Ultem Key Hook?
Thanks for catching this one. Updated!! (Although unfortunately sold out for now lol)
Phlebotomist in a hospital is my job. Very limited to what I can carry.
Ah good point. Maybe it’ll be more of an ‘after-hours’ carry for you 👌🏼
Bloody hell the music is so F*CKING LOUD compared to everything else in the video...
Thanks for the feedback 🙏🏼
