    Crossfit could effectively end any and all serious doping suspicions if they would be fully transparent make all of their testing protocols and results fully public and online. If you are indeed testing and everyone is clean then there is no reason why you would not want to make that known in the most public way possible.

    • @EchoCharlie1361
      @EchoCharlie1361 6 месяцев назад

      I don't think CrossFit is letting anyone slide with PEDs but they might do some more testing but that's a money issue. Who's going to pay for the testing? Lower the price purse for the athletes? Spend less on viewing experience? Testing isn't free.
      I certainly don't condone PEDs but as I said someone got to pay for the testing and CrossFit is a business.

      @@EchoCharlie1361 if you want to be taken seriousely as a sport, you have to be professional and this includes testing. if there is an money issue for that, then CrossFit is an amateur sport event.

    I strongly believe that CrossFit needs to drop its profit motive and become a fully not-for-profit governing body for the sport. The profit seeking nature of the company is part of the reason why it can’t grow any further and people are leaving it altogether. The company has significantly limited its global exposure because of it and I think if they don’t do something about it quickly, it leaves the sport wide open for a legitimate competitor to come around and take their position. People know that CrossFit works, they just don’t like how the company works.

      Very true, by and large, if you are not a top athlete going back at least a few years, crossfit testing is a joke, and completely controlled in terms of what results and outcomes are disclosed. Love cf but if they were serious about it, get usada on board and do it right, not saying they don't have any issues but by and large it is the most thorough and ethical oversight body that we have access to at this time. Just FYI, as someone who works out and competes with regional/semifinals athletes, our team has gone three years in a row, zero tests for any member. Now obviously if you qualify for games there is mandatory testing at that point but that's about it

  • @GraftonPrimaryvideo
    @GraftonPrimaryvideo 6 месяцев назад +7

    Being tested is not the same as being clean. If this was the case, half the Olympic track and field athletes wouldn't be there. There's always doctors/protocols/timing of cycles that are ahead of what they test for ( especially for a testing program that is 2nd rate like Crossfits is compared to WADA Olympic testing) . If anyone truly believes most Crossfit Athletes are at the level they are only on creatine and protein powder = delusional. Its important to remember that having some extra help to compete in a sport doesn't do the work for you, the best in the world are the best because of hardwork and freakish levels of dedication,genetics and the fact that a decent amount are on a program of enhancement takes nothing away from how incredible they are. Im not sure why everyone gets so conflicted by this? It's just taken as part of the game in bodybuilding but in other sports people try and practice cognitive dissonance to deny what they can clearly see with their own eyes.

  • @RussianGOD13
    @RussianGOD13 6 месяцев назад

    I really like Crossfit, but obviously, almost everyone is juiced in it, and testing without revealing results = no testing. It's private organization with a money interest, so testing and banning doping athletes is against their interest.

    Im sorry but the level of muscularity the female crossfiters present and the level of leaness they have is just not credible all that is natural, is even less credible considering all the cardio they do. There are female bodybuilders completely dedicated to hyperteophy that have the same level of muscularity than the bigger female crossfiters, and all the cardio that those crossfiters do is counterproductive for hypertrophy but even then they are as big as a female bodybuilder dedicated completely to hypertrophy who ALSO uses steroids. So no, it is not credible that they are natural, not at all. Also, the Icarus documentary in Netflix shows how even at the olympic level the drug tests can be cheated.
    Obviously any untrained person can have newby gains on crossfit, but they will never get a big and lean physic being natural on CF, because CF does not favor optimization for hyperteophy.
