Man, can you please leave a link for the Japan Market site? Thanks a lot!
Idk....I think the yellowing and cracking makes them look cooler and more authentic
I agree 100%
They don't have no style or taste
... Those only needed a reshoevenator solution touch up and we good
Where's the fun in that?
Not if the midsolew are piss yellow.
That’s nasty girls look at your shoes when they talk to you sometimes
Found DS ‘99 St. John’s Dunk high LE from this random EBay seller from Virginia. Crazy. Had to message the guy so many times just to get him to sell em but was able to grab for $550 shipped. Very happy. I want to find a slightly cooked pair of lows like this to restore. I’ve learned so much about how to take care of my aging collection from your videos seriously thank you for making this content.
That's awesome. Are the soles still soft/flexible? That's the main thing that plagues these 99's.
VintageKicksGallery fortunately yes! Little to none, they were kept at constant temp, just a bit cramped. They have a very small amount of what looks like white paint peeling on the corners of the collar by the top eyelet, area about the size of a dime. Otherwise they are perfect.
@@jamesfrye6516 That's great- That peeling is pretty common. Eventually it'll all come off and you can just respray it.
A way to possibly take brush strokes out off the ecuation is a brush made from squirrel hair. Rolls Royce uses that for their pinstripes and maybe that would work on these surfaces, too.
Recently had his videos showed up. Now I’m hooked on your videos have much love on restarting old vintage shoes looking to pick up a pair of 3s or even 4s to restore one day
I used to remove creases with the wet rag an iron, but prefer this technique. Tried it for the first time tonight on some Cortez's and some dunks. I got a little to overzealous with the dunks and slightly burned them, lesson learned! Practice makes perfect though, keep up the great content. One question about this technique, how is it with tumbled leather? The reason I wanted to find an alternative to the iron method was because it totally smooths out tumbled leather, so I hope this doesn't do the same. Your insight would be appreciated. Thanks again!
I’ve just bought a pair of these to restore, how did you colour match the maroon colour of the shoes for painting?
im pretty sure angelus direct has some paints that color match older nikes but if not you can always use a color wheel
Owowowowieeiieieie
He talks about what he mixed in order to get that color at 15:59
Can yu tell me where yu bought these shoes ? Link?
@@ale997 “yu” 😂
Wow.....those Dunks came out really nice!
Appreciate it- they came out better than expected tbh.
New Subscriber here, found you through Instagram! Man my mind is blown away right now!! Absolutely amazing! Not to mention the quality of your videos, and the knowledge you’re dropping!! Can’t wait to go back and watch all your videos!! 🙏🏼🙌🙏🏼🙌
😩 it bothers me how your station is so close to all those classics 😅 especially with all that dirt splat from the electric scrubber lol
Where are you you are one of my favorite Sneaker restoration RUclips channels and I love when you unbox Japan boxes
Just recently found your channel again I seen a few videos last year you’ve been lost in the algorithms you really should be at the top of what u do loving your videos
It just erks me that you say check and not swoosh
It's irks, not erks. I hadn't noticed at first but yeah.
Thank you for this video, I recently copped a pair, and the white leather is starting to crack, do you recommend something to help me prevent the cracking of the leather?
I appreciate your reply. Thanks!
just sand it and repaint it.
I was wondering how do you safely use shoe stretch on Jordan 4s without melting the rubber mesh?
The only way you can safely do this is to block the mesh with aluminum foil. It acts as a heat shield and protects the mesh. That being said, it's still risky and you have to be extremely careful and keep an eye on the area.
VintageKicksGallery Thanks! I’ll make sure to try that.
Fossilized drip
Aye bro what colors did you use to mix the paint, this colorway is fire
Bro can you pretty please do an AM1 restoration 🙏🙏🙏 love your work!
Is there anyway to shop on this site in an English version?
What is the name if that website you purchased these from?
These came from Mercari.jp
@@VintageKicksGallery when you first started using The JP platforms which methods did you use when it came down to knowing which sellers were trusted and what werent
What kind of airbrush compressor is that?
How can i remove the creases from suede or nubuck material? :) Tysm
How did you clean the air brush gun?
What’s the link of that airspray ???
Where do you get the air brush from?
I have a pair of SBs that I bought on GOAT that are DS and they’re from 2008. Should I be concerned to wear them? They’re made of suede and leather and I just really don’t want them to fall apart😅😓 they look like they were taken care of well! It’s just I’m nervous to mess them up💀😭
Hey do you restore sneakers for customers. I have 3 pairs that I want to bring back to life.
Bro how do you fix the Jordan 1 black P leather cracks?
Why are you not at one mill? Good video bro!
Killing’ It like always ...
Underrated
Now its solid $86
does the rubber cracks regarding the shoes age? Mine's cracking
Hey! I love your video! I had a question about the white part of the dunks. If you were to hand paint the white part, would you use acrylic or flat paint? I have a few stains on mine and I want to just touch them up.
Did you find out
Honest opinion the way the outside look idk if I’d put my feet in them even after that extreme restore , but if you wore the before and after that would be the best advertisement seen since axe ball washing commercial
That's because the painters tape is for walls and wood not cloth.
Man I miss your videos. Hope you’re doing okay dude.
what’s your light box? just a UV light?
Where did you get the airbrush???!
Does anyone know what airbrush gun that is?
Do DS pairs have hardened soles?
WHAT KIND OF AIR BURSH IS THAT?
Wow great work subscribed
keep it up man!
Would u sell the Jordan 1 chicago 1985
What dunks are these?
Love it!
the girls waving at Banksy 😀
How much are these worth?
you look like jessie from breaking bad if he never took drugs
Idk if that's a good thing or a bad thing but I'l take it!
Do you sell any of your restorations?
Occasionally- I'm starting to list pairs on my Grailed account (vintagekicksgallery)
It's too yellow the front of the sole
Really good!!
They look sick aged
they actually use good leather back then, now its just plastic.
those are so fire!
👏
You look like if Badger and Jesse from Breaking Bad had a kid....
Fuckinnnnn dopeeeeee 🔥🔥
Dude u need time lapses baaad and those look way better but if i saw someone wearing them i would still think theyre crusty 😂😂
