When you show the measurements of the patterns, could you write sth like "1/2 waist measurement", "from your waist to your hip" so it's easier to adapt? It's just a suggestion, I love your videos and you’re super talented!
@@nataliavanegas8285 you could scale it. Say my waist is 29" and hers is 25" I can do 29"/25"in this instance 1.16 and multiply this number to her original patterb dimensions. This will make sure the proportions of everything stays the same but it's made for my size. You can basically apply this to everything to an extent. However if you're making plus sized clothes this method won't work after a while anymore and you'll need some more complex maths

Hi!! Please check out how Jess Dang on YT shows to measure and cut patterns. It is very hard for beginners like me to convert your measurements. Instead if you can show how you measure yourself and add ease to the patterns it would be so much more easier to customize to ones own size.

I think it would be a little bit easier to identify the measurements correctly if you used more vibrant fabric, a surface with a different color to make the cut seeable, or arrows to show where the cut goes. I messed up on the inside and made it straight instead of curving out. Everything else was perfect, thank you!
