I would legitimately watch a feature length film, ideally by Tim Firth, about a working class kid who got in on scholarship to a posh school but is shunned from the Polo team. At some point the posh team would enlist a matador to try and counter the rodeo clown, who would be in full makeup at all times also.
People think cowboys are only from Texas but there are many states that are home to cowboys. Montana, on the opposite end of the country, has a large ranching industry
One of the hardest things about these cowboys playing this sport is the saddles. Cowboy saddles, or 'Western Saddles' are built for comfort and security vs English Saddles, or those used for polo are built for agility. It's a completely different feel, the cowboys kicked ass!
