Hey man just want to say you've helped me so much in experiencing so much nostalgia for so many games, thank you for all that you do. That said, I was having this same exact problem when trying to format an SD card. It was so frustrating because nothing was working, but just know that this guy is not lying when he said you should be VERY careful when copying the files over. I had to copy files to my laptop and then unplug my vita and then plug in my memory card since I only had one usb port. So I saved the files in a folder in my PC and then copied the files over to the memory card... and got the corrupt message every time. It wasn't until the about the 5th time trying that I realized that by copying my actual saved custom folder was messing things up. Next I tried opening the folder first and copy and pasting everything inside (instead of just dragging the entire folder) and everything worked perfectly. Sure my situation may have been dumb/obvious, but I just wanted to reinforce the importance of being very careful when copying everything over.

dont forget there was a sleep bug that corrupted game save data. i havent turned my vita on by maybe twice in the last 2 years so i dont remember the fix, but one i modded like 2 or 3 years ago for someone is having that sleep bug issue, they also let it sit for a few years so im about to go on a adventure.
i think thats my problem my son never turned it off. any videos to the fix you can point me to?
after i install sd2vita into my psvita, all of my apps (except the apps that comes with the psvita) keeps rebooting the vita

I barely use my vita and vitaTV that much and yet ever since last night the 8GB memory card got corrupted when I go to the music player. Everything else works fine it's the music files that don't work now. Everytime I go to the music app it will give the "database is corrupted" message and I've restarted my vita five times and nothing has changed with the music.
I changed my battery, and because of an issue with the pillar on the inside, where the screw goes in on the right side directly under the start button after that the Vita turned on still, but it was stuck on the hacked icon starter screen. Then i ended up rebuilding it because it took too long. Now long story short after refreshing the live stream thing in Vita shell nothing works besides my N64 and GBA emulator.
OOOHHH the ur0 is for plugins?! I thought the ux0 saved everything! HAHAHAHA this has helped me so much. I know why things aren't working correctly and its my fault lol
hello, i need your help if you have time? well on my vita 3.68 I've had the usual mods on it... like Vita shell H-encore...etc. everything was working fine, it was working great for a year or so, but then the other day I went to play it and my h-encore wasn't allowing me to scroll down or select exit.... so, i would have to power off & on to get back to the home screen. I've tried reinstalling h-encore, tried opening the PS vita to check the hardware.... the buttons work outside of h-encore just fine. so, I have no idea what just caused h-encore to not work, can you help me? thanks

I'm having this error now , i selected the " reset tai hen config.txt" option to fix the "restarting on sleep mode bug" but now all my games are with this corrupt file bug...

Hey Man so i was following your PS vita modding video and when I downgraded with modoru Something popped up saying Something about the sd card , i clicked yes and now i have problems installing plugins and everything is messed up.
Basically I have two systems installed I think , because when I insert the sd card asks me to restart the psvita and goes to an unmodded systems I think and without the sd card shows the hencore and everything, its gard to explain but maybe You cam give me a hand

Installed some random game from pkgj, and the game booted.
Would I loose all my games and saves on the sd card if I re-hack everything from scratch?

Bro I absolutely love your vids but please if u can help me out with my problem...so I installed the h-encore2 app and I downloaded a bunch of stuff including modoru. The reason I installed modoru is because adrenaline app was crashing for me and it didn’t launch at all so I decided to downgrade the firmware from 3.73 to 3.65 . I managed to get the files to downgrade my firmware and when it downloaded the firmware and went to settings to load it crashed and said error code something I don’t quite remember, and it said restart your system and the download will begin automatically, and so I did , then when I restarted it , it said the same thing again, so I restarted it again and now it’s stuck on a black screen. I watched your video on how to enter safe mode and I tried that on my vita but when it went to safe mode it didn’t allow me to select any option except (UPDATE SYSTEM SOFTWARE). So please please please help me out here.

Mine works the whole time after I hit henlaku and vita shell then the sd card memory isn’t popping up. So then I got to auto plug-in and hit configure but then when I leave that page and having inserted the sd2vita card the files say they are corrupt. So I have to restart it and pop the sd2vita out and it’ll work again. So confusing.

Hi guys! I would like you to give me a light...like I have an unlocked psvita! I was putting a file of the Max Payne game!! psvita asks for an update! update! just in time
after installing the update, I turn off psvita on the off button so it doesn't update! When I try to turn it on, the screen is black! I put it on the system restore screen and I can't because it says it doesn't recognize it, I try to update it through the content manager on the pc and I wait forever!
So, I have an OLED vita and an official 64gb memcard for it.
I haven’t used the console that much and it shouldn’t really have any issues.
But after the “announcement” that PSP, Vita and PS3 store shutdown has had me downloading games I purchased.
However after the first about 10~30gb the mecard says error, the one which means that it can’t read or write onto the memcard.
I rebuilt the database, I formatted the memcard, I restored the vita itself.
All to no avail. I can download like a couple of games and play them but after that, error after error..
Out of the blue the vita said “memcard not inserted” which leds me to believe that perhaps the memcard slot is broken.
I don’t know. I would have to get a second vita and a second big memory card to test everything out.
I read however that the 32 & 64 gb memcards have high failure rate after a while?
Thing is, if Sony decides to close up shop and disable even redownloads of your purchased content, I need to have a save and dependable storage solution for the games I bought.
I saw already that there is this microsd card adapter and that I would have to install a custom firmware, which in general I’m not a big fan of cause I like to buy my games and just use the system as intended with the latest firmware.
However, if there’s no other option left? Well, I guess I’ll have to use the microsd card and the custom firmware.
One big question though. I also have a lot of physical vita games.
If I use just a small memory card for saves in my 1000 OLED Vita, can I use my physical games, my PSN account and everything like before?

for me everything works, adrenaline psx games , vita games via PkG , everything....BUT psp iso file will just not work.........it says corrupted no matter what I do ....any ideas , i did try multiple mounting different directories (but it shows up with file size under info)just corrupted , and its in pspemu folder under games/iso

I've been getting the file corrupt error after attempting sd2vita, but I got the error after copying my files over to my pc before I even attempted to use the sd2vita card. I attempted a full restart of the system but now it is telling me to format the memory card or the memory card won't work with the system. I allow it to format but it gives me an error. It gives me the same error when doing safe mode to format the memory card. I have a 1000 series and I don't want to have to buy a new memory card to remod the vita if I can avoid it. Any suggestions?
Got a corrupt memory card message that looped continuously. It finally stopped and I was able to boot up the system, but all my games are gone. It says they're still on the card, but the bubbles are gone. I tried deleting the tai folder and still nothing. Any suggestions?

So does this video mean that if everything is working correctly we should be able to use both memory cards ( proprietary and sd) at the same time. I can use both but not at the same time. My pkg(ps1, psp), and purchased vita games are on my vita memory card,. Vita games (pkg ) are on my sd card. I have to switch between them through auto plugin to play the desired game. IF there is something I did wrong I'd like to know what it is because if both can work at the same time that'd be great. Hopefully there will be a video about that sometime.

Hello I normally don't ask for help on the internet just search the answer in other people's questions but this time I've decided to ask for some. So I had no problems with files and games until I turned off my vita in the middle of a game, when I booted it again it said that the files were corrupted, I opened the vitaShell app and there was only one folder ux0, any idea how can I fix this? Awesome video man , I really love your videos , my issue is that once I transferred a psp game from my computer it didn't recognize psp games any more and for some reason in adrenaline it doesn't show my memory stick nor my games only my savadata but I used bubble app and I have them in my main screen of the Vita so I can play them but PS1 games or the ones the bubble recognize but not every game , so do you think is better to delete everything and reinstall all again ?
I just got my SD2Vita to work after hours of trial and error, I got this file is corrupt error, but only on Auto Plugin, every other app works fine. Is it ok to delete and reinstall Auto Plugin or wold that mess something up?

Why you dont turn that thing on and show us?
The error acturally means it cant run the main SELF (eboot.bin) and not nessacarily that it's not found, it could be that it can find it and just fail to run it or it could even just be refusing to run it (eg, trying to run FSELF without Henkaku or without devkit/testkit activation)

I've used 2 different name brand SD cards (32gb Kingston and 128gb Samsung), two different SD2Vita pro cards, and watched your video 4 times and still can't get this to work. Even with hidden files shown, and I know there's two games on the PS card, the total copied content is less than 1/8 of what it should be. This is on a fat Vita.

they have been discontinued for a long time.. you can only find them on sites like ebay, you have to look for ones priced between 100-150. they're legit and not inflated for no reasons, ebay also has a buyer satisfaction clause so if the seller rips you off then you'll get your money back.

My Vita 32gb is detected but it will not allow me to format, since i keep getting errors on file's corrupted. I want to redo the whole process again so that i can use my SD2Vita adapter with my 128gb micro SD card.. Should I buy another 4gb Vita memory card just to be safe?
I was in the process of copy/pasting my vita's 32gb memory card via USB on Vita Shell to the 128gb micro SD card, but then.. it interrupted and my vita memory card doesn't work anymore. I tried formatting my 32gb vita memory card but it gave me error C4-10278-8. I personally don't mind deleting all my game data since i finished all the games i had.
I want to know if the safest option for me is to just get a 4gb vita card? I have the Vita 1000 refurbished that I bought back in 2015 from GameStop. And I know the Vita 1000 requires the memory card itself for the modding process.

Hey, I been trying to follow that video to get a micro sdcard on my psvita... but I keep getting the error that the file is corrupted (this happens right after I try to mount the file) so basically stock .. I tried to do all the stuff you told me ... got the sd2vita pro card from the same Amazon seller and I got a brand new 128sd sandy... H E L P ! Please!!!!!!!!

I really need your help on my PS Vita
I'm having an issue where whenever I open vitashell, h-encore, enso, and autoplugin, my vita crashes and shuts off. This started to happen after I installed some plugins but I can't uninstall them now cause the apps won't open.
Make a factoryreset ... Set all new , format all cards new (yes sd2vita too)
I had the error message on my vita and now the whole screen is green, im fucked. cant play them good old games now!!
So I made a mistake and updated my Vita back to 3.73. I followed all the steps to downgrade to 3.68, but I couldn't get my downloads from the PlayStation store to download on the ps vita. I restarted and didn't have h encore running and the store wanted me to update. I did. Then all the pkgj files were corrupted. I then went to modoru and downgraded again. All the pkgj files are gone. Everything disappeared. The pkgj store app was still there so I went in to reinstall the games I had, but it says I already have it. Gonna start all over 😭
Tech James saved me! I reinstalled all the apps (probably unnecessarily) and was still having the games already installed issue. I found the games pkgj files on the SD card and I didn't want to delete them. I found a vid by tech James that showed you can refresh your files in vitashell that will refresh the Vita home screen. It worked! All the games are back! 😁
Great channel man I found you a couple months back. On to the subject at hand. So in regarding corrupt h encore I recently got media center. In doing so transferring. Mp4 files I got this error. Im lost.... should i reinstall hencore? Thx in advance man.

So I got the sd2vita working on 3.73 have not tried to downgrade yet to perm mod my system . However I am wondering if my system reboots what do I need to do to get access my games on SD card again?

I have the issue that I’m trying to install Adrenaline and Retroarch but when I disconnect from my computer, the vpk files don’t show on the root. Everything was fine until this issue popped up. Plus in his video where it says I have to transfer the ISO psp game to PSPEMU, it says I don’t have enough memory. But he did it in the video. I’m new to this shit and if it wasn’t for Sony fucking up with these shit proprietary memory cards I wouldn’t be doing this. I did it solely for the extra storage but wouldn’t mind being able to use my current psp games on my hacked psp on my Vita. Essentially eliminating the psp (😞) but I can’t figure out why the files don’t show in Vita Shell when going to UXMO. That is where I transferred everything else I installed like monuru. On the root. I hate not fully understanding what I am doing!! PLEASE HELP!!!!
(Edit) > So I found out that in my exploration of Vitashell, I apparently changed the root of the storage to memory and so that was why it told me I had no space when I tried transferring my ISO (PSP Game) to it!!! It was trying to send it to the internal memory. Which that would have been great to know in advance. Memory is the internal memory in Vitashell. So this also fixed my issue with the vpk files not showing up where I was supposedly transferring them. I was just able to install Adrenaline and it worked but I had to change the root from memory to SD2VITA. Uuuggh!!! I am now playing a PSP game through beautiful Adrenaline now!!!
