    You design all this stuff yourself GR bro? 😐
    So you're the guy behind all the Gold RAT prospecting gear I've been eyeing off and contemplating so much lately?
    And you alone? I mean it's your business and like a relatively small one man operation more or less? 😮
    If so, wow. I am impressed!
    You must be quite the talented Engineer yeah?
    And know your stuff with prospecting too.
    And your own successful Aussie business, in manufacturing nonetheless! ( thats tough. Even with all the chips insanely stacked against us these days by our gov and most everyone.... . In favour of commie China mostly. )
    Designing that purpose made crusher is very impressive too, as is designing ANYTHING from scratch really...it is a damn tough job as it is, even for a team. Let alone one.
    Idk if you've got a crew or what (or if was from scratch) but still ... good to see another hard working intelligent business minded young Australian man doing well for himself. And with the very pastime I've been taking a keen interest in lately .... gold! 😍
    Best of luck .
    Ps: I need a good first serious (hobbyist) highbanker soon. Hook me up?

      HI Mate, yes i'm behind Goldrat and designa ll the equipment myself as a prospector this video was quite a few years ago at one of my first sheds we now have two production facilities no not a one man show we mass produce all products to keep our prices down. the above crusher i did not design i actually paid the designer for the rights to use this original design and had to redesign it for weight shipping and practical purposes as there were some flaws. the business is 11 years old this year we grow each year and get better at what we do, been a hard two years with raw material costs some losses but were keeping our head up and staying proud of aussie made

    60 strokes for one rock seems like a good workout... but so is a 3 to 8 pound hammer.. lol Interesting price point too... ouch!

    • @GoldRatEngineering
      @GoldRatEngineering  3 года назад

      A hammer wont release the gold pr pound fine enough for s true sample. The benefit of the off grid crusher is real accurate samples at correctly graded particle size. Something unachievable with a hammer. A dolly pot can get your there maybe 200 thumps. Here we have a more efficient tool to do the job for you. Actually weve developed this tool alot since then

    • @douglaspohl1827
      @douglaspohl1827 3 года назад

      @@GoldRatEngineering I dare say size matters and a hammer can achieve 100 minus which works for me by using a classifier screen. In the video you say $600 but the website shows $800 plus shipping makes alternatives look attractive. I hate false videos... I notice you didn't show the second pass mesh size... Gold luck!

    I bought one just like that called the crazy crusher.

    • @GoldRatEngineering
      @GoldRatEngineering  5 лет назад

      yep you'll see in the title mate crazy crusher, i worked with the patent holder in America and paid the man for manufacturing rights for this region. then went about making it work for us, ive got a few changes i'll make in the next production run just to lighten a few areas up where i can to reduce weight in frieghting etc. but its a sound way of processing dry ore.

  • @TheSkiddum
    @TheSkiddum 4 года назад +1

    Hey guys. Im looking at the original Crazy crusher. It says on Amazon that its not a product piece they said its not ment to run 5 gallons buckets through it. Not sure running gallon buckets all day or just at once they said Its ment for sampling. Can you explain the difference. We like anything that we dont need a motor on it. And if we can use this instead of buying a motorized one. I mean obviously your not going to sit and dump a full 5 gallon bucket through at once. But if I can walk around and pick up rocks all day while I'm up the mountain playing then yeah

    • @GoldRatEngineering
      @GoldRatEngineering  4 года назад

      Its definately not a production machine mate but you can crush as many rocks as you like. Our unit has hard facing ribs and our much more efficent jaws and arms make for a pretty easy crush
