Wow you guys! What a place. Built back 500 bc as a Greek settlement, this city has been rebuilt more that once. There are castles from the he 11th century, churches from the medieval times, grooves buildings from the 70’s. It was also a very cold day but we got lucky with the sun! Come explore this crazy maze and see some of the best views in all of Calabria! The ancient castle on the top of the mountain shows views of both the Ionian and Tyrrhenian sea! It’s spectacular

Lived there in 1983 for 6 months i miss it very much hope to soon and see my Family and My fathers home town
I always visit Tiriolo when i visit my own town in calabria in summer. Inside the homes are really nice and renovated but someone told me that outside/facades are to be kept in the original state
theres markets, festivals, singers,
trattorie with the most amazing food , coffee bars in piazza fresh made cornetti every morning.
I was really blown away by the castle! What a magical place
My fiance's great grandparents came over to the US from Calabria, one day soon I hope to bring him over so that he can experience Italy me too though thank you for sharing these videos!🙂
