When the second verse started I thought it was fast too but realized the guitarist is just more badass than I am. =P On a serious note... this song was played slower Live a few times in the 90's. Tempo tends to differ more often when your drummer isn't the one setting it. This version is spot on with the recorded stuff I found. so... SING FASTER! xD jk Cheers.

In the verses the fourth chord is wrong - it plays E, B, C# minor, G#, A. The G# should be a minor chord

This is a godawful karsoke version. Bad audio mix. Tempo speeds up and slows down. Too much vocal in mix
it's not "here i stay" - it's " i'll abstain". in other words not do that. the song was written for a band member who o.d.'ed on heroin
