I’m surprised at the amount of devaluation’s delta Amex cards have had over the last couple of months. I don’t fly delta but I respect your thoughts about these changes to this card.

I love the new changes delta made. Sky clubs were wayyyy to packed. This made me want to keep the reserve even more
How often do you travel? 10 passes isn't a lot for someone who is a Delta loyalist.

6 passes with each of my amex platinum’s. Total of 22 passes. I travel alot for work and i am a delta loyalist. I just love that the lounges are going to be less packed since everyone is canceling
Dropping to the Delta Gold for the free checked bags as I'll probably fly with Delta at least once or twice with the family due to routes/destination. Done with the airline status hamster wheel. Free agent flyer ✈✈✈Thanks for the info + video!
Something had to happen between Delta and AMEX. Very sudden changes within two months.
I agree with you 100%. There was a rumor floating around Delta wanted more money from Amex from the transaction fees. Amex supposedly denied the request. Not sure if this is true info here. Pure speculation.

As of right now 05/31/, ten annual fee is $350 and it gives you a $200 credit after $3k in 6 months and 20,000 miles.. Can't I downgrade next year and keep the miles? please advise
Going to invest my eggs in United. I’ll downgrade to AMEX blue as well, so I don’t lose the credit line.
Delta & AMEX got so much backlash that they’re going to change their current course and a set plan will come out here in the following week.
If I’m not satisfied, I’ll downgrade to Blue.
Exactly my thoughts. I am likely going to call tomorrow to cancel. I have plenty of open credit. think I will cancel so I can open up the possibility of another Amex card

I called their number to cancel and they always put me on hold for too long 😤😤
Canceled both my Delta Platinum and Delta Reserve cards. They’re no longer have value for me.

Y cancel the delta reserve? Do you not care for club access, upgrades and the companion pass?
I got rid of my card, no real incentives to stay, went to Blue card with same number
Are you paying taxes on the card for the boost or rent on the card?
Very small 1.5% charge for using credit card. It’s worth it for me as I’m still getting miles from it too.

@@TheCCMaestro didn’t not want one because I only will be delaying the process. Eventually, I will close it because of the devaluation or it does not fit my lifestyle

Delta platinum isnt worth it but the reserve is definitely a keeper now
I can’t see reasons to keep either at this point.
