Thank you so much for this video!❤ This is the first one I’ve found that shows clearly how to do this wrap slowly enough to really grasp how to do it, and at an angle that’s actually close enough to see.
@denisef1684 Totally agree! Great tutorial. All of the other tutorials on the honeycomb that I've found go through so fast they don't really explain in detail how to do it. Love this!
Your video and instructions were so easy to follow! I watch people use white sinew on white shirt and I cannot differentiate between the two (maybe poor lighting?). Even though you used white kite string on a white shirt it was still easy to see which was which. Your lighting was spot on. Thank you for making this easier to follow!
Thank you so so so much!!! Trying to make a tie dye for my dad’s birthday at the dead and company sphere and I’ve wanted to do this pattern but there’s barely any tutorials!!
While I will always agree with the “try it” attitude, I will say that it will give a more oval effect. It definitely could be a cool thing to do, but normally you would want to avoid that in mandalas to give it that more uniform look.
Thank you the best honeycomb tutorial I have seen.
Glad it was helpful!

THANK YOU finally a video that I can actually see how you tie it!!!

This helped me alot thank you
So where/how do you place dye? Horizontally across the folds, folds on top?
Can I do this with bedsheet?
Great video, ty ty!
What happens if you go at an angle across the pleats instead of straight?
Try it

You’re welcome!!
Why am I finding this so difficult?
Don’t worry! Just keep practicing. It took me a while to get the hang of it.
