    I love this shirt. The color combination is awesome! Now, question. Why would the sinew give you better flow and less white lines than the kite string when the sinew is made for white lines? Did I misunderstand what you were saying? Thanks for another great tutorial!

    • @SledgehammerTieDyes
      @SledgehammerTieDyes  Год назад +1

      Good question! Sinew can stick to itself when you tie so you can get a looser tie to hold where kite string wouldn’t really want to hold. When pulled tight, sinew definitely leaves a white line, but with a loose tie, you can compress the pleats enough to slow down the flow of dye without stopping it completely.

    Interesting piece of art, I’ve yet to do an ice method dye. What did you use to set your shirt into? Resemblance of a rain gutter?🙏🏼

    Hi sledge. Sorry im just now gettin chance to watch this. Great freakin job. God i love them colors. Is tht tge dragons egg tht gives tht such intense baby blue / tourqouise color??? This is beautiful

    • @SledgehammerTieDyes
      @SledgehammerTieDyes  Год назад +1

      No that would be the strawberry skies. The dragons egg gave it the reds and darker greens.

    cuando hace el mismo tutorial pero con tintes liquidos, y con colores mas comunes.

      This design wouldn’t work with liquid dye. I will do more liquid dye videos for you in the future. I currently only have one liquid dye video. It’s the mandala shirt.
