Thanks! Glad you liked these videos from this store! Not that often actually. Very hard to come by nowadays. Ive seen a few in a random Hard off somewhere. And even Mega Drive is getting harder to find now…
Hey Adam it’s me Sega Girl 😅 anyways I love how you added the amount of the games 😊 parasite eve I need it but it’s so much more here in Canada around 70-80 cad I think there it’s 2bucks? I’m at 7:10 on your video eating my beans and watching you look thru the games lol ❤, I think he said 9000 cad so u wouldn’t buy the tv lol was a joke but let’s see what happens now.. back to your adventure I go 😊 no tv eh! Wow that metal gear game I would love to pick it up if I magically went to Japan, how much was it? That Neo geo card was a great price and that Kirby box is so cute I didn’t know it used motion so you swing around your gbc? Great video Adam 😊
Hey! Glad you say so! I will continue to add titles of games and gameplay windows! :) Yea, Parasite Eve is much more expensive in PAL and NTSC-U. But the first one is so worth having. Nope, no TV. Wallet was happy about that lol. Yes, the perfect edition of Metal Gear Solid with everything included. Groundbreaking game! The Kirby game is very cool :D Thanks! :D
The Divers 2000 is my holy grail of video game collecting! I'll never be able to afford one, but gosh darn it ain't she a beaut. Even seeing someone else seeing one out in the wild is darn near breathtaking. I'm nearly shaking. I don't really think people are grasping the magnitude of your discovery here. Absolutely astounding!
Oh yes! What a piece of history this is! It looks incredible. I really couldnt believe my eyes the first time I walked in here and saw it. And thank you for saying all of this! I see many comments who are like "thats an expensive tv". Obviously its going to be expensive when its extremely uncommon. Thank you for watching!
@@RetroMoments it's crazy... I bought a brand-new Diver 2000 in cartonage back in 2003 in Akihabara and had it shipped to me via Schenker Transports to Germany. it cost me like 400$ back then..... and sold it for 700$ a year later after it was just collecting dust still unopened in it's box xD maybe not a wise idea but who would have seen this coming haha
@retrogames_jp1404 Oh man thats crazy haha! Yea its impossible to know guess future prices. But I guess one thing to keep in mind is to actually understand how rare and desirable something is.
So cool I leave Japan this afternoon. I spent about $500 usd on games and consoles. So much fun hunting.I've gotten just about everything I was looking for (and more). Amazing how great the shape is of some of these older games/consoles. I also picked up a boxed Kirby tilt and tumble! One of my favorite games as a kid! One that you can't really emulate either!
Awesome to hear that, Josh! Oh yea, I think about it every time I pick up an older game! Amazing culture here with preserving things accordingly. Ah, exactly my thoughts too 😃 Its such a great game. People need to try it out!
Hi Adam number 86 like 😊 let me see if you picked up that $9000 cad TV lol you could of flown me to Japan and back lol at that price so we could game hunt together 😅 😂 1:13 lol of course it’s Gona be still there Adam lol 😂 it is a magnificent TV trust me I’m a BIG lover of Retro small TVs but I’m super cheap lol 100 a lot but would be a great price for that tv ❤ 2:00 that’s my favourite Dreamcast ❤ the hello kitty edition ❤
It always amazes me how many boxed systems there are and how well taken care of they are. Japan definitely is much cleaner than the US. I want to go back so bad
Not sure if you saw the first part. But I was pretty set on buying it straight away. Its just that, its not cheap, right!? And obsviously, they know exactly what it is they have in the store. I would never question that!
Bummer they didn’t sell it… personally I’d never pay that kind of money for any system! Was it going to either of yours personal collection or did you have other plans for it?
Totally! Well, we never intended to keep it. Mostly curious to try it out for a while and reselling it. I mean, how often do you get the chance to own the Divers 2000 in your life!? And I agree that no games or consoles are worth that much. But for some reason it sold even higher on eBay.
I always like seeing the Junk sections in Japanese game stores Adam. You never know what's inside of them and you can either hit the jackpot or you move along with nothing beneficial. Like on game shows with the Mystery Box on taking the risk and finding out the unknown. 8^) Anthony..
Yea this store is so much fun to dig around in! Thanks! Satisfied I didnt spend tons of money still got some quality stuff! Well you're right! No console or game is worth that, I agree. Our plan was to offer 5000 USD, just to have it for a while and try it out. I mean, how often do you see something like this hanging out in a store!? Then maybe make a video of it, and then of course selling it to a SEGA collector who has enough money to keep it!
@@RetroMoments I remember Mad Panic Gaming coming across one in his travels about a year ago maybe? I think it was priced at a Hard Off for around $3000.
hej ska till japan i december, skulle vilja åka till den här butiken, kan du linka den på google maps eller något? när man söker på namnet i google så kommer ingen upp
Buuuuuum... Errrrrr dude on the dream cast. Never saw nor knew of one til I saw your channel. Actually my 2nd time from seeing it on your channel again.
That's a shame they wouldn't sell the DC TV. Maybe over time they might if you all keep going there, who knows. Great pickups. I can tell you that Mario VS DK is an S Tier game as I own it. I need to invest in a better way to play GBA games as the SP with the back lit screen isn't that great. As always, I enjoyed this video.
Yea Im thinking the same. If we go back more and ask about it, they might realize we actually want to buy it. Awesome! Ive never played it but I knew how it played and Ive been interested in trying it out for a while now. Theres always SP 101. Unless its crazy expensive now. Its was never released in Japan either. Otherwise modding shouldnt be too expensive. Thank you! I always enjoy reading your comments :D
I'm wondering if you pull up in a fancy car, wearing a nice suit, clean shaven, slick haircut, rings on your fingers and one of you carries a briefcase. You go up to the counter confidently and politely ask in Japanese "What are your items that are not for sale? I'd like you to consider selling them. " whether you'd be given a price. You'd have to rent everything first but it might be interesting to find out how they respond.
I think youre on to something here. They definitely judge us on looks. I wouldnt be surprised if they had a completely different approach, if we looked like you described.
Woa you're not gonna give up that easily are you?? Gotta try and talk to that original guy! Bet that second guy just assumed you wouldn't be serious, considering the price.
Haha of course not :D How many chances in life do you get to pick up a DREAMCAST TV!? Not many I think. I mean that could be the case as well. Maybe you're on to something. Thanks Brian!
I want to go Japan just to spend hours browsing through all this cool gaming stuff
Oh yea! Its definitely an adventure every time you go out hunting for games!
Great video again. Really enjoyed it. Do you ever see early 8bit Sega games for the SG1000 or Mark III?
Thanks! Glad you liked these videos from this store!

Varför ställer dom ut och prissätter grejer man inte får köpa i butiken? (!)
Det är den eviga frågan! Håller helt med dig. Ha den i ett glasskåp bakom kassan eller nåt istället. Väldigt förvirrande.
