I may be wrong but I believe at the end when he gets on his knees, he's singing the last line (i love you) in Mandarin. He learned one of the songs for his 2017 run on the show in Mandarin so he's absolutely capable.
And when he looks straight into the camera he sings Mien Seni Suyemen (not sure about the spelling) - I love you in Kazakh.

His Mandarin's level is only limited to Hello I am Dimash, Hello I am fine,how are you …etc,because Chinese is too heard to learn and also he is tooooo busy. But from his recent performance I can hear every single word and he sing nearly like a mother tone…its impress me a lot and appreciate Dimash heard working ever detail on every song.I will be flying 9000miles alone to hear him sing on 3/21and 3/29in Germany. Cant wait to see him live.

I also love that whenever he sings “I love you” before the traditional instrumentation comes in, he says it in Chinese. Transitioning the song into the traditional sound by a language change in the song... he’s so clever.
Many videos I watch from vocal coach react to this dimash performance, mostly same react like you sister how they're fell, but the difference is only you the one vocal coach talking about how dimash present with instrument... This goes back to the China contest. He was 23 . His English is 100% better now, but his interpretation here is flawless for this eastern-influenced contest. They love bigger than life exposes and vocal demonstrations. For me, a little less is more. You may not know that this contest was so grueling that he awoke one morning and could not speak. A doctor gave him 6 shots in his throat so he could go on. THAT'S where I draw the line, to think it could do permanent damage is a disgrace.

Someone else you would appreciate that also performed on The Singer 2017 and also 2013, is Terry Lin. Dimash developed a strong friendship with him and often refers to him as his papa. He is twice Dimash's age and doesn't have quite the range but has a magical voice with great variety! Terry has performed with Dimash a few times as well. I highly recommend you react to him! You could start with the 2017 Singer performances, all are great, some are incredible!!!

Absolutely love this his interpretation of Hello. I was lucky enough to recently see Dimash sing live twice in NYC, as a guest of Russian composer Igor Krutoy and at his first solo US concert. I would love to see you react to Love is Like a Dream (Maestro Krutoy's masterpiece, he also composed Ogni Pietra among other Dimash songs) and Daybreak from Dimash's Bastau concert. Watch both with English subtitles, the lyrics are SO emotional, especially the latter...it is based on the true story of Chinese singer Han Hong's adopted son, sung from his perspective, of the last moments with his parents before they lifted him to safely and then perished in a cable car accident. Both are incredible performances!!! Can't wait to see more Dear Nina!!!

Thank you for emphasizing so much on the feelings he express when singing. Because I think Dimash, in addition to being a great artist for his vocal skills and his range, is a person who loves what he does, and the feeling he puts into it speaks a lot about him and it's one of the things that I love and captivate the most.

There was a vocal group in Russia several years ago that had a Lead Singer that was 109 years old. He could hit “E” above “Hi C” (whatever that is?) and the oldest singer was 113 years old! Maybe this “Child Prodigy” has a future! Dimash is absolutely the Greatest Singer on Planet Earth! He was born with a Gift from ADONAI and has the greatest work ethics EVER! I’m 72 & I bet I leave this Planet before anyone touches him! And to hear all these compliments from a very talented & beautiful young lady like NINA (just happened to be my grandmother’s name) is icing on the Proverbial cake! HI Nina, I really, really, really enjoy your Dimash reactions videos and thanks for taking the time to do them. I watch them like you do and my mouth drops . It is like you mentioned, he is the sort of the Forrest Gump box of chocolate version of a performer. You never know what your gonna get. He mixes all the vocal tricks that one learns taking voice lessons. His ability to just flip from register to register is just amazing. Well done! For me, one of his best "emoting" performances is "Autumn Strong" - but given your propensity for understanding the emotions, go to Gloria Wu's channel, where you will not only see the translation, but the story behind the writing of the song. It makes a huge difference. Btw, my understanding is that Dimash does most of his own arrangements once deciding on a song. He, as it appears you also (have seen keyboard, 5 string bass and others), plays a number of instruments - there are also several videos where he seems to be fighting to get his own arrangements in the shows... keep up the great work!
