Level 3 Time Trial deserves an honorable mention due to the fact that it includes a ramp going on to the boat and that jump can cause multiple time consuming problems and can possibly destroy your car.
Yeah, that jump is difficult, if you mess that up, it really ruins your chances. I'd say levels 2, 3 and 7 probably had the hardest street races in this game. Levels 1 and 4 actually had quite easy street races. Levels 5 and 6 weren't too hard, but not that easy either. I personally think the level 3 checkpoint race (Ralph's race) is the hardest street race in the game, I had so much trouble getting past the Canyonero in that race as a kid. So many tries, so much rage until I finally completed it. Marge's car is so fast in that race, then you actually get to level 4 and it's slow af. Fkn bullshit man, the game was clearly trying to troll us all. 😂😂

I think Marge's Canyonero goes faster than usual cause the developers have some special files that modifies the car's stats (you have a very good example at the mission "Duff for me, Duff for you" where you have to Hit a Duff Truck (yeah the red truck from 1st level), It's easy to think it's speed will be the worst but in fact it goes as if it were a car from that level. (If not, you can check Donut Mod level 2 and the Destruction Derby like challenge, and see Skinner drive his Sedan like it had turbo On) And about the street races....oooh, I can totally agree here. that 1st place one was the worst when I barely knew how to play
If you race barts red ferrini in level 5 with apu using the ferrini aswell , in a head to head drag race barts one pulls ahead like it has 4½ - 5 star speed
Yeah, I was gonna comment the same thing. Cars in missions usually have unique stats. Like, Mr. Burns Limo is super so slow, which doesn't make sense. Or like you said, the Canyonero's stats get adjusted for the level 3 races.
Marges Canyonero in those 2 races used a different car setting, she had not only more speed and accel, but better handling as well, and the developers had to do this cause, if the canyonero used its actual stats (the one that we use or what its shown on the car selection screen) that race would of been way too easy and probs wouldn't of made this list. they did it for all the races in this game
I found the level 7 races easier than others outside of the level 1 races as I used the hearse. It has great speed, pretty good handling and really good acceleration. The hearse is super underrated as a racer
Level 3 and 6 had some hard ass races that I struggled hard with especially when I was new with the game, although I got good enough to beat the time trial with the money car
I always did the races with the default cars just so I can understand the actual difficulty of a race, plus it’s so much more fun that using an open wheel racer 😁
@@isaiahburns5902 He means those sporty looking ones that spawn in traffic, driven by pedestrians. I did the same, ditched the Honor Roller for one of those for most of Level 2. I even used one of those to complete 'Never Trust A Snake' for a friend.

Here’s some tips: for the no wrenches problem, go to the options menu, hold L and R, then press YAYA, your car is now invincible! Then: press YYXX(while still holding L and R), you can now one hit-destroy the other racers, ensuring your victory,(unless you quit/not enter YAYA and crash too much)
I knew number one, because Marge became the best racer. I've always had problems when I was playing that race but as always, she messes up at 13:10 so you can eventually win the race with no problem. But I want to know this: Why Lisa's car has three star acceleration and Marge's one and a half? Also the handling, Lisa's four and a half and Marge's three. But the speed is the same: two and a half.
Nice video! These races are pretty damn hard. I hope you do some more SHAR videos of this sort. I'd be interested in seeing an Easiest Missions Outside of Level 1. Also, regarding the level 6 races, I think the Globex Super Villain Car is the best car of level 6. I'd recommend using that over Snake's Bandit.
My Thoughts 10. That race is scary sometimes, thank goodness for the shortcuts. Plus the way Apu replied to Patty though! 9. Honestly this race was super annoying, I (and probably you and everyone else.) may never understand why Frink was in this race when the next character is Apu. 8. This can be super annoying but as long as you don't get near those cars and Bart and drive carefully, you'll be good. Again, that ending dialogue with Patty and Apu. 7. This one was a nightmare! Homer is way too fast for Bart, however there is a weird glitch that you can possibly win when Homer is in the lead. 6. All I can say is that dialogue that Patty and Bart have when Bart loses almost makes me wanna hug Bart while crying. How could you do this to us Homer?! 5. This race can be annoying but I think you described it better than I could explain it. Also you should consider doing The Top 10 reasons why you HATE Lisa. Just an idea. 4. This race can be actually easy, just try to avoid the cars and you might get lucky enough that the last car that tries to catch up will be the hearse. It's almost sad to think about it. 3. Lisa, what have I ever done to deserve your HORRENDOUS street races?! Marge is not only a disgrace in the show but a BIGGER disgrace in the games as well. I hated MARGE in level 3. I left her in the dust with Barts ferrini black ferrini 70 sports car hearse and ESPECIALLY THE OPEN WHEEL RACE CAR AND ROCKET CAR TO SEE HOW SHE FEELS. It was after I completed the race first time. Then I got revenge with those cars

I'm genuinely surprised to see Level 2 Circut race missing from the top 10 entirely. That race belongs on my number 1 spot because I've reset that race probably 10 times as much as any other race. Lisa's Malibu Stacy car is so fast on every straight in that race (and the race is basically 4 straights and 4 short corners) that the only time you can catch up is on corners.
Wow I remember the race against Lisa and the generic cars in Bart's first level and the multiple check point race in Lisa's level so well. I used to think it was impossible to beat Lisa in Bart's level and always came so close. I remember getting caught in the stairs in Lisa's race so damn much!
For the fifth street race, the dark green car is actually faster the honor roller, so it's easier to race with it. Since I prefer it's design rather than honor roller, I would usually use that car, so it was kind of easy for me, but when I tried the race with honer roller, it was as annoying as you said :v
The only one I could never beat with the cars available in that level was number 9 (Frink's race in Marge level). He is too fast compared to anything you have access to in level 4, so I would definitely rate it as the hardest race in the game for me (not so hard if you change the rules and use level 6 or level 7 cars, of course) The thing I loved the most about these races is that they always hyped me up about the car and character I was gonna be using in the following level
General strategy: Level 1 use the rocket car, unlock the Elec-Taurus and use that as the Level 2 race car. Level 3, get your ass on that C-Spanker, grab the boat car, dominate the races there. Get the Curator in Level 4, or the tractor if you're like me and can handle the understeer for higher speed. Level 5 is simply hair pulling but Hover Car is best bet. 6 grab the Bandit and 7 either Hover Bike or Hearse. Full disclosure: Your 9 is my 1. Goddamned Hover Car race. I have trouble with that damnable race going back with the Open Wheel car.
Fun fact is, even if you use another playable Ferreni to race Bart's in Level 5, it's programmed to be MUCH FASTER THAN YOUR'S. I would say hands down it's the second fastest car in the game, bar none. Hell, CPU versions of cars are tweaked very weirdly; Snake's Lil' Bandit in the radio mission in Level 2 just when you're prompted to talk to Cheif Wiggum is THE TANKIEST car in the game. You can find that CPU version of Snake driving all around the level in a set pattern so long as you don't talk to Wiggum after you finished following the "pizza" van.
I remember destroying opponents cars to ultimately win the circuit races and the checkpoint races are pretty simple to lock smash against some columns or walls to parcially softlock the opponent. I have really no issues at all on any races even if i use the default character car and mastering shortcuts
I found that the race at 4:30 is significantly easier if you use the Bandit, which is obtainable from Level 6's Bonus Mission, so the rule about using cars available in that one level still applies.
Marge's canynaro is much higher and bumps more than Lisa's Malabu Stacy car, she can always stay above that's why I will use Marge's canynaro for her own check point races, same with the others 😌
I know this sounds ridiculous but I was really struggling with no 1 when I used the Malibu Stacy car but when I switched to the Honour Roller I did it 1st try
"I had to repeat a race serval times before success" - this game has adaptive difficultly, the more you play the easier each mission gets.. It is not obvious, I only found this out when I saw a video that included developer content. I honestly thought it was a case of 'try, try again' or 'yes! I am improving!'
How is the Level 4 Time Trial not on this list? It drove me nuts! Even with the cheats on and using a car horn jump trick to get a headstart during the countdown, it was very hard to win. I had to use the Open Wheel Race Car from Level 7 as it was the only car fast enough to complete a single lap in under 30 seconds
I somehow beat Homer's sports car because I bashed into him, and for some reason, his A.I. bugged out and he only drove in small circles in front of the finish line. I still don't know what happened
I remember, probably from some dumb luck as a kid, on my first playthrough never having any issues with the Level 7 races, because the traffic is traffic and the AI can't drive the cop Hearse to save itself. I just gave it as wide a berth as possible and let it wipe itself out
decided to replay this game and complete it 100% and i can sadly say i spent little over an hour doing the level 3 checkpoint race. I never saved my game so fast
Use the boat car. It's the Easter egg car in that level, it's a wheeled boat with rockets you find aboard the ship. Damn thing is quick and will be of great aid. Also, get past the others as early as possible and then just hit your marks and be smooth.
I now it's a different kind of race, but the gamble races in level 4 and 5 were so frustrating. The track themselves are decent, but the cops are on your trail so fast I ended up losing more money than I gained.
My favorite races are the Lv 5 and Lv 7 circuit races both because it's so funny how often my opponents crash into each other and crash into the walls. The ones I hate the most are the Lv 2 circuit race, the Lv 4 race against the Hover Car, And the Lv 6 Circuit against Homer. That last one always takes me a dozen tries. The rest in the game I don't have too much problem with, or fun with. Edit: Oh yeah, the Lv 3 checkpoint against Marge also takes me several tries and like you said, I just have to hope Marge messes up.
So.... You DO know the stats of the car when you use it and when it's used by the CPU are different, right? Example: in the first homer level the oponent cars are Bart's soap box cart and 2 generic ones. Bart's car is considerably faster than Homer's Family Sedan, yet you can outrun Bart in those races (not talking about outmanuver, if you go on a straight line side by side you get ahead very soon.)
Not always. Some races actually use the .CON files (files that control vehicle speed, handling, overall AI, etcetera) of the unlockable counterpart. Most do use a separate variation with enhanced stats that was created purely for the Street Races though.

Your number 6 is my number one. I did it with Bart’s car and my goodness I wanted to smash my tv so many times. I wish I had known about snakes car. I hate how good his drifting is and how essentially you have to have a good lead at the first main shortcut and not screw up the ring of fire jump.
I personally put level 5 checkpoint race in top 5. I can never bear it unless I take the shortcut, and even if bart catches up to me on the highway because of his acceleration
Just a small hint to those who still have their moments to replay this game like me. I believe you can fail 5 times before your offered a Skip for the mission, Another thing everytime you fail the difficulty actually changes
I'm literally playing rn and the Frink car race in level 4 is absolutely brutal. His car chews up memory so there's horrible fps issues and he's just way faster 😭

How to beat the level 6 checkpoint race: Slow down before reaching the big ramp, homer will rubberband and go too slow to clear the jump and with any luck will get caught on a ring
10. use the car built for homer, police car, or hover car and you’ll be fine. the fastest is the hover car (165). 9. best bet is the curator or malibu stacy car. i recommend curator, same stats as lisa’s car plus higher toughness. the tractor is the fastest car you have at that level, it’s very durable, but bad handling. only use it if you’re good at controlling your car 8. use the police car or car built for homer. hover car is too weak and uncontrollable for that race since it’s narrow. 7. bandit is best as you said globex is too wide. ferrini is slower, but it has the best handling so that makes it a good car if you’re good at controlling your car and keeping up speed. car built for homer has bad handling for that as well as the hover car. the police car would be great too. 6. best car is bandit or ferinni due to handling since their are a lot of narrow short cuts. 5. use the genetic sports car or taxi for speed. pizza van is a good choice too since it goes the same speed as lisa’s car (135). honor roller is a good choice too due to having the best handling. you could also use the electaurus or mr plow. 4. use the hover bike for its small size and it’s the fastest car you have for that race. use tearse, 70s sports car, or ferinni due to their best handling or use the bandit too. 3. your best best is the stacy car or generic sports car due to the smaller and narrower track. 2. use the bandit, ferrini or police car. 1. your fastest car is the knight boat. it is way faster than the stacy car. knight boat goes 150 and it’s the most durable car you have at that time. if your not good at controlling your car, use the stacy car or generic sports car.

Lisa, Marge and Apu is probably the hardest. Level 6 i didnt find as hard honestly, due to by that time you have fast enough cars. Where as in Level 3 the cars there are trickier, fast and yeah. It becomes difficult for first time to me.

Don‘t really agree with some of those, especially with the number 1. I first-tried every race in level 3 with a 3 year break and there are much harder ones later in the game! To get back to your number 1 spot: There is a really easy way to overtake all 3 enemies in the first curve. If you did this, there is no way you can lose, because the Zick-Zack-Part at the Beach is way to thin and the rest of the track is a cup of tea 🤷🏽♂️

Honestly shocked that level 6 races were ranked so low. The circuit race against homer was the bane of my existence as a kid
I liked that you didn't use the Open Wheel Racecar for all of these. It shows how truly difficult the game can be if you're going in completely blind.

The generic sports car you can steal in level 2 is actually the fastest car in that level. Somehow I always end up with a brown one.

Level 1 use the rocket car, unlock the Elec-Taurus and use that as the Level 2 race car. Level 3, get your ass on that C-Spanker, grab the boat car, dominate the races there. Get the Curator in Level 4, or the tractor if you're like me and can handle the understeer for higher speed. Level 5 is simply hair pulling but Hover Car is best bet. 6 grab the Bandit and 7 either Hover Bike or Hearse.
Full disclosure: Your 9 is my 1. Goddamned Hover Car race. I have trouble with that damnable race going back with the Open Wheel car.
Fun fact is, even if you use another playable Ferreni to race Bart's in Level 5, it's programmed to be MUCH FASTER THAN YOUR'S. I would say hands down it's the second fastest car in the game, bar none.
Hell, CPU versions of cars are tweaked very weirdly; Snake's Lil' Bandit in the radio mission in Level 2 just when you're prompted to talk to Cheif Wiggum is THE TANKIEST car in the game. You can find that CPU version of Snake driving all around the level in a set pattern so long as you don't talk to Wiggum after you finished following the "pizza" van.
I remember destroying opponents cars to ultimately win the circuit races and the checkpoint races are pretty simple to lock smash against some columns or walls to parcially softlock the opponent. I have really no issues at all on any races even if i use the default character car and mastering shortcuts
I found that the race at 4:30 is significantly easier if you use the Bandit, which is obtainable from Level 6's Bonus Mission, so the rule about using cars available in that one level still applies.

I struggled more on Nelson's race on Level 3 and Ralph's race on Level 4 where I had to race Professor Frink and his invisible car... ugh
Marge's canynaro is much higher and bumps more than Lisa's Malabu Stacy car, she can always stay above that's why I will use Marge's canynaro for her own check point races, same with the others 😌

Honor Roller might be easier to make passes with as it's so narrow

"I had to repeat a race serval times before success" - this game has adaptive difficultly, the more you play the easier each mission gets.. It is not obvious, I only found this out when I saw a video that included developer content. I honestly thought it was a case of 'try, try again' or 'yes! I am improving!'

It drove me nuts! Even with the cheats on and using a car horn jump trick to get a headstart during the countdown, it was very hard to win. I had to use the Open Wheel Race Car from Level 7 as it was the only car fast enough to complete a single lap in under 30 seconds
Never thought the Camionero was that hated, it has a funky driving, but it's kinda fast and durable, used it for a few destroy missions
Number 5 (lvl2) is easier if you use the street car (the obvious one of the two in the race), it's actually better than Bart's car
I somehow beat Homer's sports car because I bashed into him, and for some reason, his A.I. bugged out and he only drove in small circles in front of the finish line. I still don't know what happened

Honestly, the Level 6 Circuit Race was the most difficult for me.
I remember, probably from some dumb luck as a kid, on my first playthrough never having any issues with the Level 7 races, because the traffic is traffic and the AI can't drive the cop Hearse to save itself. I just gave it as wide a berth as possible and let it wipe itself out
decided to replay this game and complete it 100% and i can sadly say i spent little over an hour doing the level 3 checkpoint race. I never saved my game so fast
Use the boat car. It's the Easter egg car in that level, it's a wheeled boat with rockets you find aboard the ship. Damn thing is quick and will be of great aid. Also, get past the others as early as possible and then just hit your marks and be smooth.
I now it's a different kind of race, but the gamble races in level 4 and 5 were so frustrating. The track themselves are decent, but the cops are on your trail so fast I ended up losing more money than I gained.
My favorite races are the Lv 5 and Lv 7 circuit races both because it's so funny how often my opponents crash into each other and crash into the walls. The ones I hate the most are the Lv 2 circuit race, the Lv 4 race against the Hover Car, And the Lv 6 Circuit against Homer. That last one always takes me a dozen tries. The rest in the game I don't have too much problem with, or fun with.

Oh yeah, the Lv 3 checkpoint against Marge also takes me several tries and like you said, I just have to hope Marge messes up.

So.... You DO know the stats of the car when you use it and when it's used by the CPU are different, right?
Example: in the first homer level the oponent cars are Bart's soap box cart and 2 generic ones. Bart's car is considerably faster than Homer's Family Sedan, yet you can outrun Bart in those races (not talking about outmanuver, if you go on a straight line side by side you get ahead very soon.)
Not always. Some races actually use the .CON files (files that control vehicle speed, handling, overall AI, etcetera) of the unlockable counterpart. Most do use a separate variation with enhanced stats that was created purely for the Street Races though.
If you have the Mod launcher. You can edit the stats of the CPU racers. So you can make Homer go 9999 speed and he will go off the track. (Level 6)

Your number 6 is my number one. I did it with Bart’s car and my goodness I wanted to smash my tv so many times. I wish I had known about snakes car. I hate how good his drifting is and how essentially you have to have a good lead at the first main shortcut and not screw up the ring of fire jump.
For Lisa levels, you could use the Boat car as it's the fastest vehicle available at that point.
I personally put level 5 checkpoint race in top 5. I can never bear it unless I take the shortcut, and even if bart catches up to me on the highway because of his acceleration
Just a small hint to those who still have their moments to replay this game like me. I believe you can fail 5 times before your offered a Skip for the mission, Another thing everytime you fail the difficulty actually changes

10. use the car built for homer, police car, or hover car and you’ll be fine. the fastest is the hover car (165).
9. best bet is the curator or malibu stacy car. i recommend curator, same stats as lisa’s car plus higher toughness. the tractor is the fastest car you have at that level, it’s very durable, but bad handling. only use it if you’re good at controlling your car
8. use the police car or car built for homer. hover car is too weak and uncontrollable for that race since it’s narrow.
7. bandit is best as you said globex is too wide. ferrini is slower, but it has the best handling so that makes it a good car if you’re good at controlling your car and keeping up speed. car built for homer has bad handling for that as well as the hover car. the police car would be great too.
6. best car is bandit or ferinni due to handling since their are a lot of narrow short cuts.
5. use the genetic sports car or taxi for speed. pizza van is a good choice too since it goes the same speed as lisa’s car (135). honor roller is a good choice too due to having the best handling. you could also use the electaurus or mr plow.
4. use the hover bike for its small size and it’s the fastest car you have for that race. use tearse, 70s sports car, or ferinni due to their best handling or use the bandit too.
3. your best best is the stacy car or generic sports car due to the smaller and narrower track.

1. your fastest car is the knight boat. it is way faster than the stacy car. knight boat goes 150 and it’s the most durable car you have at that time. if your not good at controlling your car, use the stacy car or generic sports car.

Lisa, Marge and Apu is probably the hardest. Level 6 i didnt find as hard honestly, due to by that time you have fast enough cars. Where as in Level 3 the cars there are trickier, fast and yeah. It becomes difficult for first time to me.

best option is to use your own level cars it works trust me, if you are really good at your turns you will make it

Don‘t really agree with some of those, especially with the number 1. I first-tried every race in level 3 with a 3 year break and there are much harder ones later in the game!
To get back to your number 1 spot: There is a really easy way to overtake all 3 enemies in the first curve. If you did this, there is no way you can lose, because the Zick-Zack-Part at the Beach is way to thin and the rest of the track is a cup of tea 🤷🏽♂️
