I've been following your videos on Signals and Systems and Digital Electronics for a while now, and I just wanted to say thank you for making these videos. Your teaching style is flawless and the way you take on complicated topics and break them down to provide the simplest possible explanation never ceases to amaze me, that too in such short time! Most of your videos are under 20 minutes and can be covered with ease. Seriously man, you inspire me. :)
I couldn't help but comment, your videos by far tackle what really goes on in the class room more than the other guys, it's almost like you know my professor's curriculum. Thank you for these.
Finished my digital systems course at universal shift register topic. My prof was not good at teaching despite his best efforts. Your videos were quite literally a substitute to my lectures, I aced the midterm and now will hopefully ace the final exam thanks to your content. I sincerely wish you good health for all of your efforts
Thank you sir! This kind of lectures are a big thing for those who don't have any reference books and also for others. I am doing IT engineering and your videos have helped me score more. Big thumbs up!
Just finished watching your digital electronics complete course,200+ videos.A big THANK YOU TO YOU SIR.IT WAS EASIER FOR ME TO UNDERSTEND YOU,EVEN THOUGH I AM NOT A NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER,THAN UNDERSTANDING MY PROFESSOR WHO MADE IT SO COMPLICATED.THANKS.
watched the full playlist from counters and registers, very well explained. understood everthing. well prepared for my semester exams. THANKYOU VERY MUCH SIR. YOU ARE VERY GOOD TEACHER.
You helped me learn something very important. It is a lesson that I have learnt. I couldn't understand universal shift register in the class, because the other simpler ones were not taught correctly. As I watched all of the videos in this playlist, it seemed so easy. And yes it is. Now I can draw this circuit diagram without any hesitation even in half sleep. Thank you very much. Keep up the good work. Please upload the complete study of FET in analog electronics as soon as possible, I have my exams that's why. Thanks.
thanks sir aaj mera paper tha .. aapki videos se bohot aacha gya hai ...........aap apni videos me logic gates through transistors and different types of memory bhi include kr dijiye .......baaki sir love you videos ....
It would have been great if the 4 operations going on in the figure would have been highlighted by 4 different colors, BUT you just made everything so easy to understand ❤

i have understood all the topics of sequential circuit by watching your lectures. we made the topic very easy to be understood by me . thank you so much for the entire lecture. sir i want to convey u something regarding the presentation, please mention the lecture no. so that it may be clear about the sequence of the topics . once again thank you so much.

Is it correct to say that between switching modes, the flip-flops need to be cleared in order to reset the state of the flip-flips and don't comtain a false (previously stored) value?
I think you understand my question, but to make it extra clear. Let's say I just did a parallel load of 1100. The flip-flops now will contain this value. If I than switch mode to shift right, the first 4 bits coming out will be the 4 bits stored in the flip-flops. So let's say I will shift right 1010, the first 4 bits data out will than be 1100 (previous stored value of flip-flop) and giving a wrong output.
Do u know the answer now? me also having the same question i think we must after any change of operation in this circuit to use clear to delete any stock of data.
Hello dear sir, Thank you so much for the great understandable lectures. Sir, I have a small project regard to this subject due to final exam. The project is in the name of Fuel/Oil dispenser display board working idea. We must perform it practical. As our sir briefly guided to us. Using counters, bread board, wires, transformer, small digit display unit screens and etc. Please give me further instructions on how to perform it. Thanks again
S1 and S0 are select lines of both are zero then no change occurs in the circuit. It simply reads what is given to input or you can say Io will be given as output to A0
Thank you so much I understood very well I have one doubt Why and where we are using clear in the circuit We were using selection lines, clock as inputs
Design a 4-bit universal shift register and draw the circuit diagram with the given mode of operational table:- 00-no change, 01-shift left, 10-shift right, 11-parallel load..................Sir kindly solve this queston, it was asked in my major exams.
@@viditgangwar999 There isn't an out port for the same so even if we use the mux modes, for getting an SO we must be able to give both A3 and A0 as outs for shift right/left serial operations
You have to increment the no of flipflops mux remains the same....draw two universal shift register structure and keep it in parallel you will understand my friend.

In this, PISO cannot be configured as no load is configured to select the 3rd pin of mux as I/O.
Great explanation 👌
for s1,s0 both are 0 then how can we give input because all other mux connection lines are disabled then how can we give input
S1 and S0 are select lines of both are zero then no change occurs in the circuit. It simply reads what is given to input or you can say Io will be given as output to A0
about the S1 and S0, one of them must be select and one of them must be the enable right?
best explanation ever
Godly explanations🙌🙌🙌
do you have any presentation to explain serial addition using shift registers?
what is the difference between no change mode and parallel loading mode?
Thanks for giving me a useful knowledge I am from Ukraine
hats off to you man thank you very much

I have one doubt
Why and where we are using clear in the circuit
We were using selection lines, clock as inputs

Can we use 2x1 MUX in Bidirectional shift registers?
Hi,Can you please explain PISO phenomenon in the above circuit ?
Sir we want to the lectures of "MICROPROCESSOR" as well as soon it will be possible
how this circuit will perform PISO operation ?
You can enter the data parallelly by I input and retrieve the data from A° serially.
@@viditgangwar999 There isn't an out port for the same so even if we use the mux modes, for getting an SO we must be able to give both A3 and A0 as outs for shift right/left serial operations
how do you obtain the serial outputs from the universal shift registers...!??
from a0... it changes while shifting.... or a3 for right to left shifting (I guess)
sir this circuit is usefull only for 4 bit operations or we can replace 4:1 mux with 8:1, 16:1 mux for 8 bit & 16 bit operations
You have to increment the no of flipflops mux remains the same....draw two universal shift register structure and keep it in parallel you will understand my friend.
