Like everyone else, i much prefer the original Bosco voice. This new one just isn't right for his personality. That said, thanks for exploring every dialogue option! Rare to see someone do all of them.

Favorite character Sam... voiced by David Nowlin himself! He also voiced Fone Bone in the very first Telltale game. And he voiced Fuse in Space Channel 5! When I saw the credits... it blew my mind.

It’s such a weird shock to hear Sam’s voice so low and not as expressive, and I loved Chaikin’s performance as Max. Granted, Kasten’s performance is more recognizable, but I miss Max’s old voice.

Wow! The first episode of Sam & Max Save the World, in this game, was pretty awesome & funny at the same time. And I'm just getting into it thanks to this user I follow on twitter who also played the game. While I will admit how annoying it was from how you played throughout Episode 1, but you had your reasons for it & most likely did it to the rest of your Playthroughs/Gameplays/Walkthroughs. Really like the chemistry & interaction between Sam & Max, especially with Max & his outgoing & wild personality! I think I'm gonna like this game AND Sam & Max. I know you're already finished with this & the 2nd game, so Imma continue watching (mainly on my own terms & when I have time) more of your Sam & Max Playthrough/Gameplay/Walkthrough and see how the other episodes are like. It's definitely worth it now that I'm interested to see more of Sam & Max and their adventures!

I have looked at a list of the removed/altered jokes, and I'll admit, I miss *one* of those not-politically-correct jokes, and this is coming from someone who tries to be politically correct. But I still appreciate the attempt to renew and even modernize the old games and bought the remake. The *core* of Sam & Max's humor never hinged on offensiveness anyway, so no big deal to me.

Bosco's new voice sucks but what's worse, and also something most people haven't seemed to have noticed, is that they removed a lot of the jokes and toned everything down to be "PC" too. It's Sam & Max FFs. They've removed the twisted, edgy jokes from the game and changed the anti-PC nature of the characters which is what everyone has loved for over 30 years. I'm surprised they didn't just give Max some clothes too.

Who knows, though.

Personally, I'm rather mixed on Bosco's new voice. I understand the change, and Ogie Banks is a good VA, and the voice isn't necessarily bad. But compered to the original voice, the new one sounds...restrained most of the time. With that said, I personally think he does a MUCH better job in the sequel.
.... At the end, they could have just forged Sybil's name, checked off the boxes and went in. Brady Culture Dies before Season 2 and it's not like he can sue Sam and Max while being extremely unlikely Sybil will find out as the area looks like it should be demolished soon enough.

They changed Bosco's voice because the original was voiced by a white actor. And they took out a small handful of the jokes that "haven't aged too well." Its been years since I played the originals though, so I barely noticed.

So wait I have a question. I tested and some of these lines use the exact same voices from the exact same game years ago. It doesn’t look like they went back and re-recorded a ton of lines.
So if they didn’t recast voices for audio quality, why did they recast Bosco?

Grew up with the Fox Kids cartoon, now I wanna check these games out. Is there a "timeline" or "history of" video for Sam and Max, would love to learn more about these two?
Just go in as blind as possible.
Personally, I'm rather mixed on Bosco's new voice. I understand the change, and Ogie Banks is a good VA, and the voice isn't necessarily bad. But compered to the original voice, the new one sounds...restrained most of the time.
With that said, I personally think he does a MUCH better job in the sequel.

.... At the end, they could have just forged Sybil's name, checked off the boxes and went in. Brady Culture Dies before Season 2 and it's not like he can sue Sam and Max while being extremely unlikely Sybil will find out as the area looks like it should be demolished soon enough.

Yeah. They had to change voice actor to someone who fitted bosco’s skin tone, as for why. Well I’m sure you know why.

@@joe95883 that. And after what happened in June. There have been agreements that the voice actors are to match their characters skin tone. So you can imagine what happened to the guy that used to play as Cleveland in family guy.

Were all the character's voice lines remade with new people? I can definitely hear it with Bosco, but I thought everyone else's voice lines sounded like they were pulled straight from the original.

I heard they censored some stuff in here, is the new Bosco voice part of the censoring? WHAT exactly did they remove?
I know the other two seasons are planned, but I hope all those refunds and stuff don't discourage the team from actually releasing them.
They changed Bosco's voice because the original was voiced by a white actor. And they took out a small handful of the jokes that "haven't aged too well." Its been years since I played the originals though, so I barely noticed.
this version of Bosco doesn't really, sell the character. But then maybe I'm just not getting it yet.
They should have changed Max's voice instead. He makes Jar Jar binks sound like Darth Vader
