- In what was one of the most amazing games of rugby that I have watched in my life time the Argentina Los Pumas created history yesterday in Sante Fe Argentina.
In this video I take a look at the game and share my views and opinions on this Argentina team and how dangerous they can be if they are able to iron out their consistency issues.

From an Argie ! We believe, !!! but we never forget our brothers in rugby, the BOKS, because without you, we Argentinians, will not be in this rugby Championship. The best for Argentina and South África.
Yeah! We voted for you instead of Japan cause we saw potential in your rugby style I still miss the jaguares see you in two weeks time the springboks are coming
Even the name Los Pumas comes from South Africa
Yes from a Bok we love you little brother, my best is when you finally beat us! Good luck , you guys are awesome!
A ver si te interás que el término "argie" es despectivo y lo inventaron los piratas cuando recuperamos las Malvinas. No seas tan dolobu de hacerte llamar así. Vamos Argentina, vamos Pumas! 🇦🇷
@@maxicar1240 yes sir.... from the douth african commentator. We were the Jaguaretes (a feline from argentinian soil bigger than a jaguar called Jaguareté) and this guy confused that with a puma. Don't know why we accepted it and named our team Pumas instead of Jaguaretes haha.
But if you see our t-shirts, they don't have a puma but a jaguarete with spots instead. Funny story.
Cheers!
From a Bok. Massive Respect and Goodwill to all Argentinians, and to Nz Brother
Respect is earned not a freebie.
Saffa here. I wish to one day see you guys (Argentinians) lift the WC trophy, you deserve it much more than Ireland does.
You are humble and no excuses. Respect.
@revampmyself6669 you had me in the first part, and then the comment fell off the cliff.
Well Argentina have reached the semifinals twice in the RWC. Ireland have yet to pass the quarter finals.
@@insiderugbywithmark sounds like the Irish in a WC. Gripping at first, then falling off a cliff.
@@Glider34 actually 3 times, 2007, 2015, 2023 (this last time mostly because of the draw) but with little chances to defeat SA, Aus, and NZ in the 3 of them. After 12 years of RCH we start defeating the 3 teams more frequently, but we need to do it consistently to be real contenders in the next world cups.
@@Glider34 Argentina has reached the semi-finals three times, 2007(3), 2015(4) and 2023(4)
Un gusto leer una reseña respetuosa y equilibrada, ojalá el RC esté para cualquiera. Mucha suerte! Saludos desde Argentina!
Great discussion; as a bok supporter always loved the Argies as my ‘2nd’ team. Great combo of power & flair. Loved learning about the 10 Albornaz, will watch him carefully. As a young boy I strongly recall how much genuine support there was for Argentine rugby from the Bok rugby hierarchy. A lot of Bok supporters have a great love for & respect for them & how far they’ve progressed. I think many of us are envious/jealous of the natural flair and magical handling they can turn on seemingly at will, something we regrettably can’t!
🇦🇷❤🇿🇦
As a Saffa, I think they can win a game, but not both games. Good luck Los Pumas, from a Bok supporter
@jeffrandall6410 , nice. Thank you
Hi, from Argentina! I think the same. Enought. 1st SA and 2nd Arg at the RC
@@jeffrandall6410 that’s a fact, but the real question is which game should the Boks target. Sending a so called B team, they get a drubbing there, imagine the pressure on the finale. They have a mathematical chance to win their first RC Cup.
@@jeffrandall6410 ojalá ganemos un partido amigo, ustedes vienen muy picantes.🔥💪

Yep, rassies c team
I agree with you. The key is consistency, and Springboks are a reliable team, while for Los Pumas, the only consistent thing is their inconsistency. Australia is not at a good level this season, so we can't use them as a benchmark to measure our current performance. Still, we are getting closer to the superpowers, and we will keep growing. Greetings to all our brothers from the South!!
I love a competitive RC! Pumas looking good!
@SoCalDreaming87 absolutely
@@insiderugbywithmarkreally ,,, well Ozzie must have worked them over , or they were still drunk on the win against the kiwis 👀
@@Yaackov1 shocking to lose the first one. Then getting hammered in the 2nd, till they pulled their kak together. We know them well, piss them off and they get emotional, then lose period. Just like an Italian wife.
I am Argentinian, and I like your comments. I agree with you about Springbocks, for sure they're another rugby level, and I also agree that Pumas can be in the near future inside the 5 top rugby national teams. Please take into account that Argentina has an amateur ligue (not professionals at all). Also all our players are from our countryside so these 2 counditions put more emphasis in the proud we have for our rugby
@jorgebaldi7332 hello my friend, thank you for the great comment.
A little trivia, all of NZ greats came from farmers and the countryside, but I respect what you are saying. Enjoy this time of Argentina rugby there is much to smile about
@@insiderugbywithmark All the players are born in Argentina and are forced to migrate to dedicate themselves to this sport professionally.
When SR closed the doors to the Jaguares and the only professional team in Argentina disappeared.
Now there is the SRA (Dogos and Pampas) where for 4 months the Argentine players train and live like professionals
NZ used to be farmers etc back in the days.
it seems SA arent on another level.
When the teacher is good, some day the pupil may defeat him. In Argentina we have had excelent teachers: England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, New Zealand, Australia and, above all, South Africa. We admire them and are grateful to them. But a match is match.
Nervous already! Love the fire of the Pumas! Cannot wait to see Rassie's team...
@anelfrylinck841 ha ha there we go, good spirit
As an Argentine rugby fan, I respect and love the Springbocks, our true rugby brothers. Los Pumas wouldn’t be part of the rugby championship without the Bocks support. I expect an excellent game!!!
The fact that Argentina are unpredictable on a day makes the Rugby Championship exciting . We will be watching to see what will happen against the Springboks .... as a Springboks fan...must admit I'm nervous because of the team rotation that will probably happen
@Arti-ficiallyChi if nothing else what Argentina did yesterday throws a little more spice into the air surrounding this game.
we are very respectful to your rugby and at the same time you were supportive with Argentina with Pampas XV.
but SA are supposed to have all this depth.
Sure, in another 40 years.
As a Springbok Supporter never underestimate the Argentinians. Good luck to both sides and I'm looking forward to a well deserved game worth to watch.
@LeonJohannesLionKing great comment
You rule Mark!! greetings from Argentina!!
@benjamarmol1118 Hola Los Pumas fans, thanks so much, check out todays video. What can your guys do????
Greetings South Africa brothers from Argentina, respect always

Argentina, "Los Pumas" is a team who likes to accept big challenges, especially playing in their country. They know they are the underdogs but their selfconfidence and willingness to make history is an X factor for beating the world champions. Sounds crasy? Of course but however the odds are against them after beating so hardly to the Wallabies increases probability in a huge manner. I will bet for them...They deserve a 100% from their fans...such as me because I`m an argentine patriot!! We will enjoy a great game!!
Argentina consistency vs South Africa consistency. what a game!
Was a long way to arrive here. Pumas goes up,step by step, learning,,sometimes supporting very hard defeats ,but finaly can show the potencial of local players, improved by organization, good trainers and the historical power of their defence and heart to fight till the very end. That wy i belive have a chance to win one of the both marches or two,of Boks disrespect the Argie moment and make a rotation like with Aussies. From Baires, huge hug for the herd of rugby funs
@gustavodeleersnyder1515 you have a huge fan here. Not just for what happened this weekend, but any team who can make the semi finals of the RWC is doing something right, and people can talk about weaker draws and everything else but Los Pumas are showing much more now and in three years watch out.
Much respect to the Boks! Good luck to both teams in the clash! 🙌🏻
@juanmanuiglesias good stuff.
SA was our teacher and supporter since the beginning of our international experience. We love you BOKS, hopely next match will be a great challenge. Always climbing to the top....
@hernanmanrique5590 very nice.
I like it when you make comments about the pumas, that you name the players by name, and not like the majority of the press in Australia, South Africa and New Zealand do, who limit themselves to saying the argies.
I add a curiosity that I don't see mentioned anywhere but that any Argentinian knows. The nickname of the Santa Fe stadium is "the cemetery of the elephants." The Australian pachyderm went there alone to die.
Thanks so much for the comment, I love it and for educating me, the ¨cemetery of the elephants¨ brilliant
As a Pumas fan I am very excited about the result, but we must be realistic, the Springboks are playing at a very high level today and they are clearly a team that has nothing to do with Australia. I think that if Los Pumas achieve the consistency necessary to maintain their good level of play over time, they will clearly be a candidate to win this competition. I have not lost hope, but it will be very tough against the Springboks. Congratulations on your channel!
@estudiog_ggoldstein3202 thank you for a great comment, yes, reality is it will be tough. But enjoy this moment, SA beat Australia by 16 and 18 points in each game, so thats a good reminder. Keep enjoying. Remember what Juan Martin Del Potro did on the tennis courts v Federer.......under dog.
Definitely a team that could be in the finals for the next world cup... boks supporter KZN
The way Argentina played yesterday they could’ve beaten any team in the world, including the boks.
Rassie knows and trust the expected two teams that will play the Pumas. My concern though is will Kolisi be playing in both matches as his facial bruises is still evident from last weeks match and he is an inspiration for his mates and also he needs to take a short break to recover from his injuries 🎉❤🇿🇦💪
Right
Pumas are definitely up there with the best. Will be lovely to watch them play Ireland ,France and England now.Looking forward to this for sure😊👍🙏
@heathcharsley5429 yes, if only we had more international rugby between said teams, would be great for the sport.
I have watched the Argentinians progress for over 20 years and I have been so impressed with their physical tenacity. I always felt they just need a good coach, and Michael Cheika was the magic that consolodated their skill. Now they are a team to be reckoned with.
@mikespencer4922 great to highlight Michael Chiekas involvement and of cousre Felipe was there alongside him, so the transition has worked well. Thank you for the comment
Hat's off to Argentina 🇦🇷 they have come a long way And as A Springbok supporter my heart is with the World champions but one thing is the Boks will not take their opposition for granted Boks never do
Hello. Nice video! Jose from Argentina. I been at the game in SantaFe. While Argentina lacks consistency in their game due to the recent change in head coach, the teams that face the Pumas know they are capable of beating any team. Just ask the All Blacks, who recently experienced it. The dynamic game plan was on full display yesterday. I suppose the Springboks won’t want to have the same experience of breaking records like New Zealand and Australia did, and will likely present a competitive team. Long live Rugby!
True reflection of where all stand in the rugby championship. The Springboks will have to prepare for a big match.
Really like your videos , brilliant . Argentina have the players to win one game against south Africa- it is good for rugby that underdogs do well
@kevinsexton6010 thank you for the positive feedback. Yes they do, they will be up against it, but hey, its rugby.
Great comments Mark … it was an incredible match and love to see new faces in Pumas team that performs so well. Go Pumas!
I wasn't able to catch this game live but I saw the highlights after.
Wow! A game of two halves if there ever was one. Wallabies played some excellent stuff in that first half but what an incredible display that Los Pumas put on in that 2nd half.
As I said before about this Argentina side they are dangerously unpredictable and on their day can put it up to the best in the world. .
After watching this, Rassie will know that the Boks cannot take this Puma team for granted. A major upset could be on the cards but I emphasize the word "could" lol.
As for Australia...a tough pill to swallow but there definitely very good signs there. The AB's cannot take them for granted either. Otherwise another major upset could be on the cards there too.
It looks like that the last series of games in the RC will be epic.
Well done Argentina! Great stuff.
I love your comments and find your assessment extremely accurate. From Sweden
Hej du, tack, thank you kindly
Hur titta du på Springbok rugby i Sverige?
Good comments Mark! Albornoz is a natural 10 that has been put on the bench for a long time for Carreras, who is not a natural 10. That discussion has been around in Argentina for years. All rugby blogs were asking for albornoz forever and now we are happy that the world acknowledged our beliefs (many rugby websites are talking wonders about albornoz). Let's hope that Felipe hears them too and makes the move definitive.
@moreyfede thank you for the comments
On Albonoz, like many of the Argentina players I would like to see some more matches with him to see his consistency, and we will see what he is made of against South Africa.
100% When Cheika started as HC, our hope was that he could have a consistent natural fly-half to slowly replace Sanchez (Miotti or Albornoz as options) But Cheika and Felipe continued with S Carreras (brilliant 14/15 btw) as nº 10, and we could only play good isolated matches, but we couldn't handle an opening match agains England even with 1 extra player on the field. If we can consolidate a solid 9-10, we'll be a tough team to beat in next RWC. Pumitas are bringing really good players on the next years
Who knew it would be the Saffas and Argies battling for top spot. That's certainly unexpected. I'm guessing the clash between them will be more anticipated than the AB-Wallabies game. Because c'mon, we all know the wallabies are practically toothless now.
@n-tertainmentx-tended4760 thanks for sharing your views.
Hello mark. Great comments ! I’m from Buenos Aires .Argentines when they are all aligned and things go well , can do incredible things .i think it’s all about their mentality in the moment of the match , regards.
Hi Mark, I am an Argentinian living in NZ. I appreciate your commentary. A lot of fans and commentators thought from the start S Carrares as 10 was a mistake. He never play 10 at club level and I think we waste an incredible player as he is not playing the right position. As Sanchez retire there was not a next kid prepare on the blocks and pumas put this guy there. I hate the inconsistency of the team and I feel our defense is consistent but when the other team is putting to much pressure in defense of offence suffers alot from Carrecas lack of experience and game control. I thought Albornoz was amazing as 10 when he gets the chance and we should try to build him up and use Carrecas in his natural position. Maybe we are able to get a bit more consistent with a better or just more experience 10 on the field
To me Carreas S. managed to do quite a decent job in an unnatural position for him. Albornoz has to prove consistency at the highest level, and that remains to be seen.... If so, then Argentina will have gained twice: a good/great 10 and a multi-talented great back (Insider, Wing or FB). An Argie here too. I posted in English out of respect to other non-spanish speaking readers.
Really unpredictable team the Pumas, even within the same match!!. I think the Wallabies went to the locker room way too relaxed and came back completely unfocused.
Good on you for what you do. Keep up the good work. My boyfriend is from New Zealand and we love watching you. Aloha from Maui, Hawaii.
@lisacroley3776 mahalo nui loa and hola to you in Maui, great spot, enjoy.
Before last night I would have said we've got the championship wrapped up.
After last night, we still have some work to do. Los Pumas are not going to roll over for us to tickle their bellies.
@randomlyfactual1943 visually a nice comment
As an Argie, I had exactly the same feeling at the time! It´s over for Argentina! The RC is secured for SA! Honestly, I think it was and remains so. BOKS even on an off day are formidable and consistent. I need to watch again both AU matches vs SA to determine a bit if SA were not as good as they can be; if AU were better than yesterday against Los Pumas and made SA work harder.... I´ll be pleased if LP make SA work much harder to win than the Aussies did! As per the naked scores, they should.
Good that they have the belief. Competitive games would be awesome all the way to the finish.
@Smoke_C yes, could not agree more
At half-time a journalist asked Fernández Lobbe what would happen with the match, he replied that Argentina would totally control the game,...he looked very confident and euphoric...I was left thinking but then I understood that he had the key to win.
beautiful sharing thank you for that
I want to say something about "Consistency-Inconsistency" and at least I hope it's not boring. First of all we have to think that competing with top 10 teams and being consistent (that is, having continuity in your system and in the result) is a complicated task. In fact, very few achieve it and even fewer manage to maintain it over time. Still, that is the objective. In the case of Los Pumas, they have managed to overcome the physical barrier since, before, they could not sustain intensity after 60 minutes. That is an achievement and today they do it. They have also overcome the stigma of "the dignified defeat" and today they can beat any team on a good day. The same occurred with the obvious lack of collaboration and resources from WR, it was and is an objective achieved. They still need to integrate the concept of system and game identity in a solid way to overcome the "exceptions to logic" becoming a mental as well as strategic habit. In the end, it is always a nice challenge.
Well said. It's good to remember the transformation of the Pumas clearly marked at the beginning of the 1st RC in 2012. About the game identity of teams, I think that's an interesting concept, but more interesting is for teams to be able to execute a game plan. When that isn't working, the coaching staff and key players of authority must react and transmit what is needed to apply the changes - that element is an strategic tool and win matches, the way the AB historically do in the last 10 minutes of the game.
100% agree about Albornoz.
The closer the gap between teams, the more exciting the game becomes. I really hope Australia gets their act together
@rtgbester solid comment, thanks
In 1997, South Africa beat the Wallabies 61-22. The next World Cup was won by Australia.
In 2006, South Africa lost to Australia 49-0. The next year, they won the World Cup.
In 2017, South Africa lost to New Zealand 57-0. Two years later, they won the World Cup.
Maybe this might be the start of the turnaround.
Really trust Aussie rugby will be in top 3-5 soon. Always loved their style. Saffa
@@randomlyfactual1943 It can´t get any worse, or can it?
@randomlyfactual1943 a lot of people here in Aus seem to be parroting this kind of sentiment, and yes anything's possible. But in all those cases, the big loss to the team that went on to win the WC was a bit of a surprise. None of those teams lost 8 in a row or will ever draw with Portugal.
We don't have a feasible grass roots system here. Truthfully nobody in the wallabies would make the squad for argentina/south africa/new Zealand right now, and any of the 50+ next best options for those teams would be our star player. Our backs are too slow, the 10s can't catch, and the forwards are fat. Hell, the game was barely televised.
Argentina played incredibly, and I don't want to take away from them, but we were even more woeful than usual.
What Los Pumas need to improve is their play on rainy days.
Rugby Championship so far:
Rainy day: 0-2
No Rain: 2-0 with record breaking scores
Vamos Argentina 🇦🇷!
@ericcameron2229 great observation......singing in the rain
Mark, I agree with you that Argentina can surprise any team on their day.
They've beaten both the All Blacks and the Wallabies in this year's RC, so its not impossible for them to do so against the Springboks.
But counting against them is that following their two great wins this year, Rassie will most definitely send his strongest team to Argentina to try and ensure victory before the home leg in Nelspruit.
I very much doubt that the Pumas will beat the Boks, but I will certainly not rule them out. However, with a return leg to be played in SA - if they were to pull off a win in their own country, I very much doubt that they'd be able to repeat it a week later in SA.
Gonna be interesting to see which team Rassie selects for the away leg.
And let's face it, the Boks have very much more sound structures than either of the All Blacks or the Wallabies.
@jaygeeist thank you very much for the comment. Yes, one expects the Boks to be too good for Argentina, but we have a lot of interest in the game now due to Argentina´s incredible performance yesterday.
38 points to the AB in NZ and 67 to the Wallabies....they are not so bad...😅😅😅.
I think the Pumas can win at home. I dont think they can win both games...But we will be very happy with a 2nd place in the RC....
That first half was amazing by Australia
The second half I have never seen football like it, Argentina were amazing. And as an Australian you have to take your hat off, watching the game there are still improvements to come. Just need to be patient and block out the haters
Sigue sonriendo.
Mark like you rugby knowledge. You know you All Blacks. I am South African.
The pumas are looking good and they have a very good chance of beating the boks, putting 67 pts pass the wallbies shows that Mark . The wallbies must get their act together ,its very sad how they have fallen
Define "very good chance".
I'd say 1/5 times. Like someone else said with rotation it could come close, but I think we have in Argentina last? I may be talking bull. But if so that will suit us the secondary players will be told to have a go, or last game until end of year can put all but Siya in.
It was a pity they lost their first game , it would have been interesting to see Argentina on top of the table
I feel that Australia’s defence fell away in the second half and allowed Argentina to run wild. I feel that Joe Schmidt will learn a lot about this team from this match.
@Neelie799 IMHO I think you are pretty spot on, thank you for the comment
Joey has alot of homework to do, especially for the bledisloe series.
Don't be surprised if the boks drop a game against the pumas
@joe-jg4bh OK, thanks for sharing
Being a Pumas supporter is hard .. we are so bipolar . Is exhausting ; when you think that you are there , that you can beat anyone , suddenly an awful defeat comes next. I have my point of view on the subject , and basically is the System's fault. Amateur and old fashioned. Even the choice of stadiums is questionable . But i will watch matches with positive mind. SA is a massive challenge .
welll this a great video... SA is like that older brother you always wanna beat.. not just because you look up to.. because they are bigger and the best. i am proud enough of both nations coming up for a sport battle... and giving their best.
great comment thank you, and thank you for the support as well.
Mark thanks for the great commentary. Great win by Los Pumas. But we have to lament the state of Australian rugby. We really need a strong Australia, specially with the upcoming Lions tour.
Senor Mark - Al mal tiempo, buena cara. Argentina has strengths, but one of them is not taking rabbits out of hats. The Boks will beat them easily (both games). Remember, nothing should suprise us about Australia this year and to be honest in the next 3 years.
More important on the grand scheme of things AB's need to rethink their entire doctrine - when you can't beat a poor Boks team it is time to panic. Go well Amigo
Los Boks le ganaron facilmente a Australia pero Argentina es otra cosa mal le pese a ud.
Congratulations on this video, you really nailed it, believing they can win against the #1 team in the world was the #1 reason towards Pumas achieving today 's tight victory against the Springboks.
Was Argentina so good, or did the Wallabies went into sleep mode. Yip, the Kiwis and Wallabies will have a great chuckle if the Boks falter over there. I agree with you, that no 10 was exceptional.
@tobysmeiman6921a game of two halves, the Wallabies did some very good things in the first half. Then a combination of Argentina having a blinder, and Australia´s stage of evolution showed. Remember most of the Argie team were semi finalists at RWC 2023.
If they didn't believe they can they wouldn't be in the competition, same for all the teams participating. Its the reason for being in competitive sport not so? Awesome to see Argentina showing what they are capable of.
@WHOLT2 and there you go. Yip
The Argentinians are spreading the ball well. But eich, the defence of the auzzies was tereble in the second.
@jankoekemoer6034 yes and yes, thank you for the comment
I will be checking the bookmakers odds, they are a very good indication of who will win the game.
Hello Mark,
Lovely review. Argentina really came to the party in that second.
I'm sure they will look to build consistency and even if they should lose to South Africa, they will still probably want to have excellent performances.
@TheBuildKingR thank you
Its nice to see how the tides have changed. The hunters have become the hunted, the game has evolved and is unpredictable like days of old. Good luck to all teams.
Amazing, indeed! I just wonder, how many points would be piled up if it were the ABs running on "15" perfectly timed cylindres? 100?
Given the right conditions, individual player brilliance, team belief, and underestimation by the "top dogs", it's possible.
Argentina have tripped South Africa up before. So have Japan.
Against this South African team it's unlikely, but your thesis is valid - it's possible.
@russelldold4827 exactly, if you dont believe you can why turn up to play.
Argentina dejó en ridículo a los baby Boks también.
Thanks for your analyse. 100% agreed.
@user-gy9iw7tu9b thanks for the nice comment
I am from Argentina. On Saturday I was at the Madre de Ciudades stadium, during the match against South Africa and the result left me hopeful with obtaining the Rugby Championship for the first time. I know it is difficult, because you have to win with a bonus point, in addition to thrashing, but hey, this season it became clear to me that nothing is impossible.
Beautiful, thank you for sharing.
I am a Saffa till I die!! I am hoping the pumas bring a contest!! We need it, Aus needs time but it betters us all as Southern Hemisphere teams
We can't really answer anything until Rassie announced his squad...EE and PSDT needs some rest...but dare we leave them at home?Bit low on our lock stocks at the moment...
Must say....Well done Argentina..When you guys show up you really show up...There was some awesome handling skills and running lines...I don't know what Australia is going to do to avoid a complete whitewash when the BIL tour comes around..sad to see a nation that once held the World Cup in such a state...Maybe the last BIL series to Australia??
@sakabula2357 thanks so much for the comment. Don´t write the Aussies off yet. I saw enough in the first half that showed Joe is making his impact on his team. Yes they went to sleep but Argentina had that one day few rugby teams experience, unplayable.
I love it that Los Puma's are competing so strongly in this championship. Loving their style and confidence. Rugby is the winner in the bigger picture - coming from a Saffa.
@anthonylees5735 could not had said it better, thank you
If we could be more consistent, I think we would be in the top 5. We have shown that we can beat anyone when we bring our A game and yes, lose to anyone, when we don't. Having joined the TRI Nations in the new format has really improved our game and given us confidence. I think that traditionally we are thought of as the weakest team in the Southern Hem competition, but we deservedly racked up 50 points in the second half. Time will tell where we end up at the end of the competition, but if we are second or third, it might be the beginning of more consistency. As always, I like your commentary and insight. Cheers.
Well they did it 🎉
Hello, I am writing to you from southern Argentina, I have listened carefully to each of your words of praise towards the pumas, and a reflection towards the Australian team. Very correct in everything you indicated. But I am writing to you for a dream in these latitudes. From my humble thought I allow myself to suggest that Argentina should be among the plans of World Rugby for an eventual hosting of a Rugby World Cup. You will stop looking only at Buenos Aires, and look for stadiums in other Argentine provinces. Just that, I wanted to convey to you a dream that I have had for many many years.-
I used a translator to write to you. Have a very good night.-
Hola amigos! Si JUGAMOS COMPETITIVAMENTE NO ME IMPORTA PERDER!!
Disfruta tu rugby
@@insiderugbywithmark Siii lo disfruto!! Pero sufro la inconsistencia!! Jajaj
Just subscribed. You make a lot of sense, and one senses your passion! A Kiwi retired in Mexico; isn't that a little unusual?
@Jayinseason awesome thanks so much for subscribing, as to Kiwis in Mexico, in this part a rare thing yes, but there are a few others in other parts.
Argentina are good,no doubt about it,and now they have their tails up.
Rassie is splitting his squad again, so who knows what the outcome in Argentina will be, but I am quietlt confident, and very cinfident wrt the return match in Nelspruit
Thank you kindly
I think Pumas have a great shout. Boks getting overconfident, and when they're mega favourite's they're generally poor. It's never a pretty game between these two and they know how to disrupt our forward momentum and set piece
The Pumas seem to perform wildly when they are emotionally charged. Hopefully for the Boks they don't have another player that will be reaching a milestone.
If we catch them on their ON-day they are going to be difficult to beat. Their fullback is an absolutely amazing player from the games that I have seen. Looking forward to 2 great matches.
@pierredekock6041 well spotted, Mallia has been playing well yes, but they will need all 23 playing out of their skin to have a chance, thank you for the comment
I believe that the Pumas are going through a stage of growth that has been brewing since 2004. Argentina needs a lot of international contact, which is why as an Argentine I celebrated joining the Rugby Championship. Since it allows us to compete with teams that we admire and respect. Hopefully we can win at least one of the matches against South Africa. Greetings!
@FranciscoCivit congrats for the weekend and heres to looking ahead with sunshine and rainbows.
I really hope the Los Pumas bring their A game against the Boks. It is healthy for the competition to have competitive games and not one-sided affairs. With that being said, I still hope Argentina's best is short against South Africa. We need a complete white wash in the TRC.
@dumezweninduweni158 yes, competition between several top teams in world rugby is what we want to see.
Exactly. I so hate people who play anything, cards, chess, monopoly or risk just for the enjoyment. Much like this channels dudes reply. So much like a limp wet handshake.
Argentina can beat anyone on the day! Best of luck, I'll be supporting my 2nd Fav team SA though!
I was on the field in that game and it was very exciting to see the pumas displaying their full potential. It is a team in formation with a new coach and it still does not achieve a balance. It will surely be an interesting match against the springbooks
Pienso que hoy tenemos 12 pumas con nivel top mundial, necesitamos al menos 8 mas, el rugby de hoy se gana con el recambio del banco de suplentes, mas contra los poderosos books
Don't forget that the Springboks only need 1 bonus point to win the championship
@elkat2282 not forgetting that, and for me its not about the Championship, its about having another team in world rugby who can compete with the best, thats great for the game and I am hoping Argentina can be that team consistently. I thank you for your comment
Yip. I'm nervous about Argentina . . . . . . . #BokSupporter
@Won_By_One you will be alright, but some nbice hype around the games now
If they don't believe they can beat us, they should not be playing. Respect to my brothers from Arg, you boys have the right mindset
@closelaugh185 yes indeed.
We know how tough the All Blacks would be. But this Argentinian side is playing with a lot of believe and hunger. They know they stand a chance to win the Rugby Championship and that will make them very dangerous. My favorit match up after the ABs are Argentina. We love them.
@jacodas3983 great comment thank you
Very difficult for Pumas, the Boks are the best in the wordl.
Maybe at home Pumas can have a chance though... but they have to make a perfect match... and the team didn't show consistency... good moment and bad moments during the same match...
With the Boks, that could be fatal....
@ricardocagnoni yes it will be tough, but it makes it exciting, we never know what might happen, its sport, its rugby.
Greetings from Costa Rica!
Staunch Kiwi here..1stly, congrats to you
Boks for the wins over our boys, I'm sure
I wasn't the only kiwi who saw it comimg
As 4 you Puma's, you guys have cottoned
on quik, faster then those Irish lads..ha ha.
Impressive display against those 'skippys'
..ouch ! Any top tier team that would fold
like that, deserve to be spanked ! So look
out Bok, Puma tails are waggin?!..Expect the
unexpected I say...if not a win maybe
draw?!..weirder things have happened.
I believe, the team believes and we will give everything. It is difficult but not impossible Vamos Pumas!
@user-ei8qg2fz8b thats the spirit, good stuff.
Is this a relatively young Argentina team? If so it's good for the future.
@Christian_1980 in fact they have good experience from RWC 2023 and some youth, so building nicely.
@@Christian_1980 not that young, but there's a good mix. Older players that won't make it for next wc are retiring such as creevy, sanchez, imhoff. On the other hand, pumitas (team who played the u20 world cup) played really nice rugby and seem to have a bright future, so they'll probably start to appear soon
I love the way Argentina play, I think there are no competition in the americas to increase the level of the Pumas and that’s a big problem for them; anyway they play with pride of theirs colors 🇦🇷🇦🇷 and it’s very nice to see them playing, I love also the rugby 7 from Argentina.
Rassie already told the players who will be travelling to Argentina before the last game and I reckon it will have many changes to the one that played against the AB’s.
The Pumas always have been seen as underdogs - same as Chile and Uruguay - yet that is when they are at their most dangerous.
Growth of South American rugby alongside the European Tier 2 nations and women's rugby the main positives in world rugby in the last five years.
@YOUSEFTECALB great comment, thanks for making it.
Thanks. Loving the video.
One more thing - you're right on Albornoz - coming off a really good season with Benetton as they reached the URC playoffs.
@YOUSEFTECALB yes, he looks special in a good way. Santiago Carraras to the bench and that makes a big difference to this team IMHO
@@insiderugbywithmark Either way it provides Argentina with kicking options. Still have Boffelli to arrive later this year for the end of year tests.
Una pequeña pero importante corrección. Chile y Uruguay están muy lejos del nivel de Los Pumas desde siempre. No se puede ni hacer esa comparación!
SIIII.... NOSOTROS NO SOLO CREEMOS... SABEMOS QUE PODEMOS GANARLE A LOS SPRINGBOKS. VAMOS ARGENTINA CARAJO!!! 🌎 We are here, en South America... we exist, we are always giving Shots in all Sorts, Futbol, Basket Ball, Tenis, and so more.... We never use foreing Players... so long everybody
@@jankoekemoer6034 Jan die customer se taal is altyd reg!!!
Great stuff mate! Goo pumas!!!
Am from SA but have long time been a fan of Los Pumas..my main reason, besides their Latin flair and temperaments..is that they are the only nation in the entire America's.. North, South, Central that can consistently field a tier one team. We need the game to grow globally and they are doing just that.
On a side note: have you noticed the similarity between James Slipper and Julien Montoya...mug shots, I'm referring to😂
If they swopped jerseys you wouldn't tell the difference ...
