- Unveil the Universe Within. Enzo is a multi-voice synthesizer that will track your guitar for tight monosynth leads, complex chord polyphony, or multi-note sequenced arpeggiation, all without the need for a special pickup. Watch Angelo completely transform his input signal and re-synthesize it with the Enzo's synth tool palette. Hook up an expression pedal directly to the back of the pedal for expressive control or automate with MIDI.

WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME I HAVE MOUTHS TO FEED
Gonkosan Roberto possibly my favourite RUclips comment of all time
ME TOO HELP
Yet here we are getting strung out on another fascinating pedal that we can live without but now that I've seen and heard how awesome it is, I cannot live without it. This is why my marriage and credit is in big doo doo.Merris Pedals are spectacular sounding. Like a top of the line Synth with just a tap of a switch. I believe It's time for me to get a Roland equipped Strat and a Korg Synth. A 40 year Guitarist, I'm just a big kid that loves experimenting w/sound and discovering new ways of tweaking tone and sound and every possible parameter and conceivable algorithm and response of every note of the Guitar.I'm rambling on,I'm very sick. Thank You Merris for the Demo of another incredibly conceived and well thought out pedal. I love it.My fellow gear junkies, you are not alone. Peace-
You guys are just freaking wizards!! Enzo is a sonic revelation ❤️
My Synth - "No one can make a pedal to replace me". Meris - "Hold my beer..."
hahahahahahahahahahahahah!!!
Classic
I don't care how much it is, when does it come out and how much. I needed this yesterday
It's shipping via their website rn
and its only $300. I would normally write off any pedal at that price range but this thing seems incredible. I cannot fathom how that arpeggiator works. this shit is unreal.
'But hunny... WE really NEED this more !'
he said pointing at the most wonderous golden pedal in the entire Kingdom of Beau-Teek
She removed her wedding ring, reluctantly handing it to the pawn shop owner.
...and they all lived arpily ever after.
This is so much the pedal we needed right now. Being able to recreate synth sounds on guitar is so fantastic, and not enough companies are investing in it. You have EHX, Subdecay, but that's about it. Thank you for investing in this sound. I will be picking this up as soon as I can.
Don't forget Boss, Pigtronix, and Squaver. Also the moog freq-box with filter is an awesome synth as well.
All those pedals are cool but I think the best solution is an audio to MIDI converter. That way you are not limited at all by the pedal in terms of what sounds you can make.
Daniel West Eventide
MK Ultra Productions Yeah, Boss definitely pioneering it (also ARP and Korg in pre-digital times).
That's it, Meris, y'all broke me. I just ordered the Enzo, Mercury7, and Polymoon in one fell swoop. I even sold my BigSky to help finance this as retail therapy. Looking forward to this. I'll prob return for the Ottobit Jr and Midi interface thingee once the finances permit.
You might like to look at the big murf , frequency analyser ring modulator and the Meris hedra
I'm obsessed with this thing. Buying. Can't wait to run it dirty.
Meris is an amazing company, and this Enzo is an amazing pedal. If you know anything about Meris pedals you know that they are more than simply effects pedals or stompboxes. They are tremendous instruments in their own right. I have their Polymoon delay, which I totally love. I've already used it on guitar, keyboards, bass and even vocals. I can see and hear that the Enzo is the same creativity and design applied to a synth pedal/instrument. Game over, I'm sold!
This is seriously amazing. This pedal will bring us to a new space as guitarists as the dl4 did years ago.
Unreal sounds from that acoustic. Like some space western song
This has got to be the coolest damn pedal I've heard in a few years. I'm blown away. I don't even like synth pedals but this is so much more.
Dude you gotta be kidding this is so glorious. Ordering immediately.
Yep. Totally having this ASAP.
wow!! i wish I had this on 2003....nice work guys..dreams comes true...
4:12 "Here are a few fresh clips" Had me DYING LOL
will patiently wait for the restock of this baby
I have the Mercury7, Ottobit, and Polymoon. Absolutely love Meris. My only gripe with the Meris pedals is all the alternate/shift functions. These alt functions are phenomenal but their "hidden" nature makes them frustrating to use. Please consider including dedicated controls or some other way to have visual feedback on what is available onboard and what you're tweaking.
Do you know MIDI designer? There are some clips on youtube. I just need an ipad...
I agree completely. Amazing sounding pedals but kind of poorly designed.
Meris do have learning curves to deal with, read that often, but... I'm sure they are listening.
100% agree with this, was just thinking that while watching the vid
Just printing the alt functions below/next to the normal text would go a long way, might actually put on some labels myself. Using an Ipad with it really isn't an option for me, because A) I don't have/want apple products, B) it takes a ton of space compared to the size of the pedal, and C) I use hardware instruments/fx because I don't want to do everything on a screen.
This is the pedal I have been searching for all my life. Soon as I get the money together I'm in!
We at Klein Bottle love the Enzo! It is featured on a number of our tracks. Keep up the great work, Meris!
Beautiful news. Thank you.
There it is. Definitely wasn't expecting this! Would love to demo this with synthesizers and voice which might sound odd at first but I have a few ideas..
Amazing with vocals! (So is the ottobit jr. believe it or not) Not an odd idea at all
Looks like a good studio tool. Could be tough in a live situations unless you get the Meris preset pedal to lock in settings. Sounds freakin amazing
I used to think that true, now I just use an expression pedal and play it as a instrument every time I want to use it.
Presets are for the Mercury 7.
Just got this as a birthday gift! Can't freaking wait to try it tonight!
Guys, you are unique. Love you all your stuffs! ❤️
Brilliant. All your pedals are top, this one... I can't believe it actually exists. It sounds so good I think you should have an V.A. synth already in the works.
I'm blown away like all the other guitarists on this comment section.
You guys are amazing!
very cool
I. Need. Enzo. Now.
Dang.. This is awesome!!
Sounds EXACTLY like my 80s Roland guitar synth. It's uncanny. It didn't have the arpeggiated setting but it had a great fat 2 filter analog synth that was very punchy.
The pitch shifted voice 😂😂😂 I’ll have to pick this one up one day
This sounds and looks impressive. The thing that is hard to get a feel for is what the tracking and latency is like. The devil is in the details that could make the difference between a novelty and a serious instrument. Any further info on that aspect?
David Bessell overcoming any possible latency or tracking issues is just a matter of practise, no?
It’s amazing. New favorite mod pedal ever.
Nice - now do one that turns a synth into a guitar :)
I need this now!
Very promising indeed. Can't really figure out how to control all those possibilities - but other Meris pedals have been really easy to learn. I guess this is too, after a day of wonderful fun. Synth pedals can be a little boring I think, but I am going to get this one ASAICAI.
MXR pushed EHX and now Meris will push Strymon. Phenomenal Pedal. Pedal of the Year !!! Can it do those Smooth Monophonic Moog Lead Lines - similar to what Dr. Dre used on the Chronic album ?
Me to Meris: “Why do you make such amazing pedals?”
Angelo (cue 4:06): “Because I want to” #pedalgeekprobs
I realy like it only thing is we cannot save patch and when you play live you don't have time to adjust everything every songs. Can be a nice thing to add in the futur
Hey Meris, I've got a question: I have a microtonal guitar, will this pedal portray the microtones I play, or will it round them to the next pitch in 12 Tone Equal Temperament?
Awesome sounds!
Thanks to the holy cosmic trinity!
Very impressive.
wow! where did this come from?!!! I know what I am getting on next GAS :)
Evokes memories of my Roland GR700 which is such a pain to work with...and enormous. I'd gladly replace it with this
Ah-ha! Here it is. I’ve been looking for you to compliment stuff on my board for the last good few years... and the dealmaker being it appears to have MIDI...
Awesome... Just wish that Meris had a plain USB connection to run the software editor...
i love the sound of this thing, the the form factor is a serious problem. too many hidden features you have to hit shift to find, you have to magically know what the current hidden settings are, and remember what the hidden setting are for each knob in the first place, and your chance of dialling back in the same setting as you had last time are slim to none.... i’d need a crib sheet each time i used it. and would have to bar friends from ever touching it and fucking with my settings.
No reason to worry! The Enzo has 16 built in presets so seriously no worries about loosing your sounds. The Enzo works with our 4 button preset switch, and it has Midi In and Out if your prefer to have your pedalboard set that way. You can even do wireless bluetooth control if you buy the adapter. Terry demonstrates all that here ruclips.net/video/3wr7KjRqvyU/видео.html
Need to use MIDI... they seem to have made a conscious choice not to make big boxes
Sick!
Oh man...I wrote to you 2-3 weeks ago and now I have to save more money, arrrrggg!!!
so good!!!!!!!
this is a great pedal, but I feel the user experience is dificult at best for the average person, I collect pedals for years and this is one of the most beutiful pedals and most dificult to understand I have.
You’ll get it buddy! It does takes time. Now it’s intuitive.
WTF? Wow, can't wait to play it.
Fu*k yes! Own the Polymoon and Mercury. Funny enough went to your site on the weekend to see if I missed a new product. Sold! When's it out?
Pretty much the only pedal out there like this. Tracking is good (but unfortuantely tracking has to be mentioned because it is a factor with guitars). The same button that saves presets also is the button that gives you access to second functions though. And the only way to switch presets is by buying a midi trs box. Ive had to redo presets a few times and some may have been my issue but seems kind of quirky. The preset switching and saving hopefully will be reliable because love the sounds of this thing. I'd pay $200 more for a screen and midi Jack and a few more parameters to tweak further.
Sad that after 5 years Meris didn't created a new version with patch bank where we can save, quantize arpeggiator (beat minute BPM). That can be a good way to get rid of GK stock of Roland. Still waiting Meris
Unreal.
Sold
Magic Box --- Literally
Great!!
This will pair perfectly with my DX7.
Not kidding.
When are they available???
FIRST ONE! Great job guys!!!!
Angelo is just West Coast-Jamie Stillman. Prove me wrong.
Realest pedal in the room! HOW YOU DOIN!? ... And you can't teach that!
this is what guitarists have wanted from day 1. the electro harmonix one is so hokey and 80s cover band sounding, they need to see this vid and be ashamed of themselves
Great work! Just curious how it might work with a keyboard. Think it would easily spice up an old Casio or whatever cheapo keyboard that's just lying around. Guess it would also depend on the max number of voices in polyphonic mode too...
Great
I just ordered one. Is there anywhere I can go to find some presets to get me by while trying to figure it out?
I can’t seem to find a proper way to get this pedal to sound short and funky. Like a funky synth for example. I would love to be in control of the sustain of the synth via the sustain of my hands instead of turning knobs. What am I doing wrong?
Super-impressed with this...what is the max polyphony for the synth? I would assume at least 6-note polyphony, one for each guitar string, and 2 oscillators per voice. Is that right? Being mostly a keyboard guy, would be curious how this works with some cheapo Casio synth. Seriously great job with this...the design, the sound, the features...just that little "extra" that makes it really cool and easily worth the price.
dang!
I really wish the arpeggiator had more options ala traditional arp (e.g., pattern up, down, etc). That's the ONLY thing stopping this from being the perfect synth pedal for me.
True. The arp is only weak point.
I’d like to demo this thru a hi gain amp.
Gonna buy one. Can't wait to try it through the drive and big bottom end of my Diezel. :)
Wonder what noise music through it sounds like?
No words 😲😲😲😲😲😲
What the heck is going on with that tele's bridge?
Amazing sounds, the Enzo is definately gonna be my next pedal buy! But won't this be too much bass for my guitar amp to handle (Rivera Chubster 40 watt 12" valve amp)? Would I need to buy studio monitors?
This pedal is incredible, when and where will it be available to buy in the U.K?
Eargasm.
My Meris Mercury just throw my wallet in my face, I think it wants a "companion".
Hi! Would it be possible to create some vintage sounding synths like the EH key 9 with this pedal?
There's only a handful of videos regarding this product at the moment. RUclips is an awesome place for guitarists and tech lovers alike to see these. Usually I like to know all the ins and outs of a product before I buy it. Lots of ambient videos using similar wishywashy effects what sound nice; but I can tell this pedal can do so much more. I bought this pedal on a whim, if all goes well I'm certain I'll buy the mercury7 eventually too. Fortunately for Meris I'm terrible with money! But for all those other sceptics out there we could use more varied content what doesn't just tailor to the ambient soundscape musician. Genuine question though, I love the sound of the sega megadrive (genesis). As I understand it has a Yamaha YM2612 chip inside. My question is, could it be possible to take that chip and implement it into a guitar pedal so I could accurately cover green hill zone on a guitar? Honestly I'd buy it no matter the price. I'm not so clued up on synth really haha!
I don't regret ordering this pedal one bit! The Meris enzo is easily my favourite pedal. It has so many different functions and you can really make this pedal work the way you want regardless what you're plugging into it. I use mine as a splitter to send a clean signal through my effects board to a mixer with the synth effects kept separate. It's hooked up to an expression pedal which adds much more control. Unexpectedly dry mode is my favourite! Having control over pitch for harmonics and bass is a nice touch, chorus, delay and compression and that's not even in its synth modes. Mono mode is great for dialling in 8-bit tones and they sound very old school game boy when played in the Arp mode. Finally poly mode, I found it a bit of an ear full at first but increasing the attack gives you a nice washy ambience. I'm still discovering sounds with it 2 weeks later. I have to admit I was skeptical at first but this pedal is amazing. Looking forward to seeing future products!
Hey, where excactly would you put a synth pedal on a pedal board?
Sounds great. How is the tracking with bass?
can it sync arpeggiator times with your DAW through midi? either way this pedal deserves a place on my already enormous pedal board haha
Nice! What's the tracking like with bass?
Pedals and Effects just released a video on this which includes both bass and guitar
look up juan alderate's clip on instagram!
It’s amazing.
I guess this is literally the only pedal I need, all I could think of adding is a fuzz or distorion
Can I control de tempo of the delay?
You can control tempo of the delay via tap tempo, MIDI, or external tap tempo.
I really wish this had a MIDI out.
It does.
Ooo baby
Amazing! How much money are these masterpieces being sold for?
300 dollars
i just ordered this thing and already im thinking i shouldve gotten an SY200. And the enzo isnt even here yet. I think im afraid i wont be able to get along with it. Im older now 52 and more and more lazy cause ive spent my life sound searching and writing and all already. But ya know, there is something so specail about this creation. something beautiful. the sound. it says things to me that make me excited. haha. i suppose you could say its almost a romance. And im very excited to meet her. wish me luck guys
how did you end up liking it?
This is a revelation. Do you have UK dealerships I could try one at with my board? Unfortunately its too much money for me right now to gamble on without reference, although I suspect I'll love it. Cheers Kelvin
Sorry for the delay. Here is a list of our dealers. Hit UK in the scroll down menu:
www.meris.us/authorized-dealers/
Any light on which could be the settings for 3:41 sound?
Hey there, shoot us an email and we can send you over some settings for this sound.
-Andrew
thus continues my self wrought poverty.
how do you make the ARP texture so fast?
Did you mean the speed? If so, use the tap tempo.
Vlw ched
like a synth 9 ?not sure
You've got to be shitting me? WOW!!! I won't be leaving the house for a very long time once I add this to my overcrowded pedalboard. But that's ok!
How many presets over midi?
16 presets via MIDI.
This seems Impractical for live work. Fair to say that it’s more of a device for recording?
guide tutorial? where is?
Hey there, this is the full Enzo video demo. We also have a full manual available on our website, as well as preset diagrams and an example video for each preset diagram.
