So many memories of going to this mall. Thank you!!
your welcome much more to come
Never knew that was there, and I lived there for 8-9 years.
crazy, thanks for the comment
I’ve lived here 13 that’s crazy man
@@callmejimmy6170 Thanks for watching! It's easy to miss!
It was first called Tunnel Road Shopping Center. Dunham's Music Center was there before moving to Asheville Mall and then later to another shopping center on Tunnel Road.
yep! Dunhams moved down to in front of ingles on tunnel across from the VA. used to rent drums and xylophone for band back in middle school
My dad used to sing at church and when I was like 5 or six dad brought us in that store and it was a good memory !
Thanks Jesse for your support! Sounds like a good memory, spending time with your dad!
That Office Max is where we printed our wedding license paperwork a few months ago! It's such a rundown and sketchy area.
Hey guy's it's Josh when are y'all gonna say hi again?
I’m from Asheville and to me this is kinda sad to me for some weird reason maybe it’s because of the jingle but it’s kinda depressing to see all the old shut down stuff
I Love going to Innsbruck Mall🤘. And I agree, Asheville doesn’t need one more damn hotel.
Yea Josh-we sure don't need another hotel! Thanks for watching!
EJC Exploration 🤘🙂🤘
i remembered back in the early 2000s they did some renovations (painting, HVAC, some minor electrical work) trying to bring life back into this place, but it failed.
Came here a few years ago thinking I was gonna get some shopping done while I was in the town. Long story short I found nothing 😂.

Thanks for the comment! Yea if you came to Innsbrook Mall for shopping-you came to the wrong place! Thanks for watching!
It's closed permanently now...I'd kill to find a way in though. If anyone knows how it'd be appreciated. Want to go to a dead mall and look around but sadly most of them are closed
Thanks Roasty Toasty for the comment! I checked it out Monday, every door was secure! It looks like it sustained extensive damage on the brick face leading to the basement. Thanks for watching!
Family Christian bookstore was the name of the bookstore. They moved back in 2004/05 when walmart opened the superstore right below the mall.
you guys wanna trade locations
If you nterested in shipping center in Marion NC ?
Ingles bought that location it used to be there then it moved now thwre gonna rebulid an ingles to there
Thanks for the info!
they just built that store not even 15 years ago. I think ingles is just going to redo that center to bring in mixed-use. but you may be right since they use their money however they please.
Isn't this where the DMV is?
Its no longer there, but yes
WAS is no longer
Whoo slow down your making me dizzy swinging that camera around.😱
We appreciate the comment, were proud to say we've improved since this video.
Try getting premisson before you just start filming everything
Generally if a private property is open to the public (like a restaurant, retail store, tourist areas, etc) you are allowed to take photographs and video unless it is expressly posted somewhere on the premise that you can't.
Im sure theyre allowed since there are fo lease signs every where.
Lmao yes you are allowed BITCH terry
I love all the talk of stuff you know absolutely nothing about. By the way your not supposed to be filming in there.
We appreciate the comment. From our research, and own personal experience living in Asheville for 20 years, and visiting this mall several times while it was fully functioning, We believe we did a reasonably good job in providing accurate information. It is VERY important to us to give our audience accurate information, so if you have any facts you can provide in addition to the facts we provided, we would love to hear.
