Wow, Great tutorial and explanation how to measure! I have looked at these tools before and wondered how the heck do you line everything up for different situations. Now that you have taught me and I will probably buy one today.
I looked through a lot of similar instructions and it turned out that no one knows what the slots in the vertical support are made for hint: corner joint ;)
There are instructions and diagrams but, I must say, they are not very clear. However, this video has explained everything and I now find that the tool is easy to use.
Hello nice vid . i'm a Parkside fan and have donne a lot of good work with it renewing m'y home . But for this Time I will prefer thé Wolfcraft dowel kit . It's of course more expensive but more complete with thé drills and thé depth gauges dedicated to thé job Always in thé box. But I insist Parkside IS a very good compromise Price/ performance and durability.

Made the mistake of buying the '22 version of this for £4.99. There's so much slop in the bushes that accurate work is impossible.
