Took it to various watch repairers who refused to take it because this is solar. Seiko salespeople told me to send it to New Jersey. Called Seiko and they only gave an address to send it to. But it I it took 5 seconds to fix I! Five seconds! Five! You’re the man. Because of you I have my watch back. You made my day! I’m so happy.

Before doing what the store personnel suggested, I came across your video and tried your suggestion. It worked. You are an angel sent from heaven🙂
You are a lifesaver mate! My watch stopped working after 2 months in drawer. Your instructions did the trick. Last time I put my solar seiko in the drawer for 1 year, had to pay $50 for battery change and service! I wish I had known this trick then :(

The only question that does not go away is simple. How to reset a solar watch that has only one crown, central one?
No need to press the up and down buttons, just pull the crown until the watch turns off, then dry it in the sun for a few minutes.

Try to charge it over the Sun, outdoor. Then do it my method. If fail, the rechargeable battery need to be replaced.
