The thing about adding things to library is like a backlog of books/manga, you name it, I want to read potentially if time allows it. But then there are factors like updates to already familiar titles, some DLCs drop in, the mood or energy level to learn something new is not there, so if choosing between new stuff and old familiar is always a tough one
This makes sense! i figured it be something like this, also since next fest is a timed event people are probably scrolling trough the store and adding games to their library for later like you said.
@@MrDiwlo also factoring in previous Next Fest, only 10 most played demos were available to add to the library after event. This might also be "get what you can while you can, sift through later".
@@MrDiwlo I feel like its more than that though, I can't tell you exactly why that is but I've read that a lot of those activations are bots, actual conversion from people activating to playing should be higher than shown
@@Glinnor yeah. steam provides some data on whether or not it's active users or bots who visits the steam page, but i can't seem to find any data about which kind of user activates / adds the demo to their library.
