All engines have small amounts of metal from wear that are inside engines. if the screen is left out the sensor itself will become plugged and not work as it should.
Man I got a 2009 silverado 5.3 when it's cold it about 40 pound but when it warms up it drops to about 20 pound but it dont knock or tick do u think this would be my problem too?
Thanks for watching. The sensor is what I would replace first. If that doesn’t fix it then ur oil pump is most likely starting to fail. Be sure to remove the screen that’s below the sensor and make sure it’s clean.
How hard is it to get filter out ?? Im not sure i got one in there at this point..but pressure still low 30..
What size bolt did you use to get the screen out
Thankyou for awesome video!
Thanks for watching.
what did you clean the filer with? wd-40?
What size socket? I tried using a 1 1/16 socket and it felt too small
I have read people pulling the screen out and not putting it back in. Is that the best bet to do? Or do you recommend keeping it in there?
