I think there's a mystey to friendship. It's a type of bonding that can't be forced, and friendships often come and go. It's not something one can manufacture. Perhaps the best one can do is adapt the proper attitude of being a brother/sister towards others. By working on the self, and developing a sincere altruistic attitude towards the other, it may be the best one can do. At least that provided a basis upon which others would be willing to explore another's personality and character.
