Making fence boards out of a really nice poplar log

  • The original plan was to make this into 17 foot long 1x6 fence boards. Due to Alan's unbridled enthusiasm to use his Stihl MS-261 Chain saw, this 17 foot long log got cut in half! So now we have twice as much fun making 8 foot fence boards.
    Sorry for the lack of videos lately. Paula and I were in New England at a funeral and wedding. (Separate events....). Hi to all the relatives and thank you guys for watching the channel!

    Hey as long as no one got hurt and everyone agreed, it is just another grand adventure. As far as the funeral goes, shouldn't be a celebration of the life lives as well as a final farewell to the one who has passed on? Good to see you all back in operation and all doing well. Hope3 your respective families are healthy, happy and prosperous.

      Thank you. Yes, it was a celebration of life. Being old I still call it a funeral. I mean all we did was show up at the cemetery and the priest said a few words over the spot where they dropped him in the hole. Life is short!
