Perfect job, I wanna do the same for my 8L90 Camaro. Please, can you share us more info. Did you changed just port throttle shifting? Or you did more things!?
I have the same truck with 6.2. How do they do remote tunes on it? I have a Diablo sport and it can’t access the tcm on this particular trans and I was under the impression that the only way to tune this trans was by physically replacing the tcm
I got a question bro I had a 2016 Silverado single cab that when it shifted the first gear it would give a nice pop to it I even changed the exhaust to a dual corsa and it still mad that nice pop so now I got a 2017 less miles 4x4 single cab and this one doesn’t make that pop shifting that first gear
I'm not sure if the tuned fixed your problem but I too had an rpm flare followed by a slip between 2-3 gear. Dropped my truck off yesterday and the dealership just let me know my torque converter is bad
@@jackstoepfer1494 I guess people were just trying to find something to complain about. I was just asking anyways because I had the idea of swapping an 8L90 in a 496 powered 2500hd. The 4L80 just doesn't have enough gears to play with.

That is 100% due to molding flash/burrs on the plastic in the factory airbox thats in front of the mass airflow sensor. Sanding those edges down fixes the harsh 1-2 light throttle shift like in parking lots.
That WOT is crisp, the 2-3 stock is sluggish.

You have to send your tcm to hp tuners to get unlocked. I recommend not using the Diablo and have a tuner use hp tuners to update your truck.
Where you in 4High then shifted to 2High in the WOT? Curious because I ran it in 4High but don’t know if I should leave it or switch it to 2high
Yes after it gets rolling and I don’t worry about traction, I’ll turn it to 2wd.
@@jackstoepfer1494 Thanks! Looking to run my truck at the track , Didnt want to go all the way in 4High

No. Seemed to be normal downshift
