I had the GT World Tour, parents got it for me for Christmas 1986!! the OG Blue. I used to do the california frame stand ride half a block, thx for the nostalgia.!
I found my 1986 Performer in a pile of trash from an eviction just down the street from my house. I drove by and spotted handlebars sticking out from the pile, and decided to stop and investigate. Once I realized that those handlebars were part of a rad bike, I saved it from a trip to the landfill.
Awesome! My parents got me a green one and I sadly have no memory what happened to it.. fast cars and women got in the way I reckon 🙄 great vid thanks for the memories 👍🏼
It's funny now how similar the Pro and Mach one were (and had the same frame), and how similar all three Performer series bikes were, yet prices for each model in the series varied quite a bit, and back in the day we made a big deal about each of them, and everyone wanted the top model. Also, oddly, the Performer was cheaper than the Mach One. Wish you could compare the 1984 and 1985 models. When the Mach One came out in 1984, it wasn't equipped nearly as well as it was for 1985 (though was stilll a great bike, as I had one). I think the Interceptor for 86 kind of took the place of the 1984 Mach One.
I had the GT Interceptor back in 1988. Now in my soon to be mid 50's (54), I ride a 2008 GT Aggressor 2.0 also own a 2nd generation I-Drive that I'm doing a resto-mod to.....
Hi, I found a GT BMX bike in the street and restored it. I have no clue what year or model they are. The SN is SNACE08J00387 can you tell me where can i search it up please?

Pleasure. Thanks for watching.
My favorite was the frame stand.
I mean talk about ahead of their time. These bikes are still dope! I have a 1994 pro series that I recently built and the chrome is blinging!
Nice. I have an 89 Pro Series among my faves. Always been a GT person.
@@re-rides sick!
Love this! Can you do another video for GT 1987?
It’s definitely on the to-do-list
Imagine having a sponsorship with GT back then. The holy grail.
Changed lives.
No Haro and Dyno were better
I was always a GT fan.

Nice. I found an 86 Mongoose Expert in a tip pile a few years back.
Can you tell me exactly what grip was on the 86 pro world tour? Just so I gather the accuracy I need thanks
A’me grips on that one. www.bmx-catalogue.com/gt/old-school/1986/pro-world-tour.html
I’ll make another video so you can see it closer ! I have no idea what kind of gt or year 😂
I’m not sure either. The square tubes are unique.

A tale as old as time. Lol

Someone please tell me: Why was there a ‘World Tour’ and also a ‘Pro World Tour?’ Were those two not the same bike?
A simple way to upsell a specced up bike.
My first real BMX was a 1986 GT my big brother gave me.
That’s great. Thanks for watching.
Damn this bike is gorgeus. Something about 86.
Old school GT. Only Haro comes close in my opinion.
@re-rides 86 master my all time fav 😍
Love me a GT bmx
Very much so in this house.
what about the gt bikes before 86 . ????
Yep. Will get there when I can. Thanks for watching.
Nice video, THANKS! [:]~))
Thank you for watching.
Looks like most had cheap cranks.....I don't remember them like that.

I’m guessing based on my knowledge of earlier serials. I think that one would indicate a 2009 model. Not sure which.
Trying to listen to the history and the music is overpowering his voice
Sorry about that.
