    The homebrew community for Arkham is just incredible. While designing my campaign I had a bunch of good conversations about design on Discord, and the feedback I've received from the community has helped make Ages Unwound what it is. It's no coincidence that the average Arkham custom content is *really good*.

      I'm hoping to get Ages Unwound on my channel in the next few months. I am looking forward to playing it.

      I haven't kept up with the homebrew scene for a bit, have you been updating the campaign? I've played Ages Unwound last April and remember really enjoying it, so it might be the next campaign I get printed now that I have Dark Matter and Arkham in Wonderland.

      @@itsevenow6613 One major update (reworked one scenario and tweaked several others), a few bits of tinkering, it's now near-final - it'll probably get some minor errata in a couple of months and then I'll stamp it as finished.

    Thanks for the exposure you are giving to custom content, which I am coming to appreciate more and more lately. Really fun to see the work people out there have put into designing these new campaigns, scenarios, and player cards.

      Also, do you know anywhere that has premade decklists (like ArkhamDB) for custom player cards? I want to try out some of the Mass Effect or Bad Batch investigators in the Machining a a Mystery campaign and would love suggested deck or two for those investigators.

    So glad that you called out the writing for the Wonderland campaign. I actually found a few of the scenarios a bit fiddly (looking at you tea party). But the writing and thematic elements are really a flawless combination of Arkham and Wonderland. If there was such a thing as Wonderland canon I think that The Beard’s story here would have to be included.

    My only problem with the custom investigators is the dissonance from having the Star Wars clone troopers running around 1920s Arkham. But it could also be fun for that

    It seems like building a pnp arkham campaign would be weirs/hard. Do I cut out the cards with my eyes closed? Or do you have to order it?

    • @oliviareubens1468
      @oliviareubens1468 Год назад

      There are print on demand services that some people use (e.g. MakePlayingCards), but home printing is more common. I like cutting the cards while watching TV or similar - it gives you something to pay attention to instead of reading all the cards you're cutting.

    • @seantilson8728
      @seantilson8728 Год назад

      @@oliviareubens1468 excellent. I have made some pnp games, but one worry with arkham is that pnp cards might be noticeably different from the cards I have and this could effect gameplay. Maybe this isn't a huge issue if all the cards are sleeved though? Or maybe you have some advice regarding this?

    • @oliviareubens1468
      @oliviareubens1468 Год назад

      @@seantilson8728 Sleeving helps a lot, but I've never felt it to be too much of an issue? The only difference likely to be noticeable is whether the top card of the encounter deck is homebrew or not, and even if you don't just ignore that, it's not a significant piece of information.
