Do it, sold my Xbox last year and bought a PC and it's night and day, the Xbox is like a dollar steak, the PC version is a tomahawk ribeye
I just got a gaming PC this past Monday and installed it yesterday. The download took more than half a day, but it was tremendously worth the wait. I had no idea that there is a whole entire different world out there. Like you, I started out on the Xbox and it was great, but there was a point that started to reach its limitation and I thought I need to get a PC because I see a lot of people are on PC and are doing all these neat things and stuff like that. I may go back on Xbox from time to time, but as of right now I’m just going to focus on the PC side of things for the time being and figure out the bells and whistles. Buying a gaming PC may have cost a little bit of finance but I have invested so much into flight Sim, I had to figure out a better way to experience that and I did. 🎉

I got to say though, The Parallel 42 on SimFX has got to be the number one special. I mean, every time that you added contrails with your C-17 Globemaster III, it gives all of my happiness days in my life for now on.

Globemaster C-17 was the first plane that I downloaded after installing the flight simulator on my new gaming PC. It is an awesome airplane and a beast.

Doing long flights and not having a ctd and with all the the things i used for realism is Worth to transfer to pc but i do recommend to new pc players to use a different ssd storage for the sim because mine is almost full because of flight simulator so be aware
LOL You are in what we like to call the honeymoon period. You will learn that the PC is not all honey and roses. There are a ton of things in the PC that will get you fired p, unexplained FPS loss, unexplained load times that take 5 minutes. Crash to desktops created by new video drivers or windows updates. Trust me I am a founding member of the PC Master Race but this sim will try you at times.

When MSFS 2020 first came out , I deleted it so many times , my god it was frustrating! 😂
Right now I am running a vanilla FS on Xbox just all world updates that come with FS, and the Microsoft ATR plane. No additional addons, liveries etc for now. Zero issues with Stutters, CTD's, Black screens or not hearing ATC etc. Smooth as butter after many hours and days of use. The graphics on Xbox have no adjustments of course and I have traffic, AI aircraft traffic and everything else maxed out. Maybe less is more when it comes to performance. I have a $3200 gaming laptop MSI Raider GE76 l purchased a couple years ago but I will probably not install MSFS on that, don't want to gum it up. I got it mainly for graphics and animation programs. Still I may purchase a mediocre tower PC in the future just for the bells and whistles that come with MSFS.
@@omnifx best thing to do with laptop is install MSFS onto a external SSD gaming drive . I get them at Walmart in the PS/XBOX section and I use them for all my games , MSFS , community folder and all .
Without max upgrades brother the game is dull at least from my demands. I desire only add on sceneries and the best planes. If you are happy that’s all that matters.
You seem to have forgotten your promise to keep plugging for Xbox, you are now just telling everyone to upgrade to PC! I get it because PC is a better option but not everyone can afford to drop a couple of thousand on a decent PC!
My experience is so sensational on PC brother. I have done exactly what I said I was going to do but yes…PC is the finest.
