Interesting video, no doubt. Every band should have a guy like this however, I’d like to see this amp running under a load at high power. From the looks of the amp chassis it’s been down this road before.

thats what the current limitting bulb is used for.. You use a light bulb in series with the amp power lead. If there is a short circuit, the light bulb will stay brightly lit... The bulb lit up and then went straight out... Showing the amp has no short circuits... The light bulb protects the circuit.. if there is a fault, the bulb takes all the power, and lights up...
i have 5.1 channel home theater. it's 5 satelite speaker. 2 ohm 3 inch (2 speaker in a box) and both speaker add on series line (it's Edifier company made) don't get enough treble sound ? pls suggest me what to do to get more treble sound from satalite speaker like jbl sound system. there is only 2.2uf.64 volt capacitor connected with the speaker. pls help me asap🙏
You change all 8 big transistors but you left 6 used small why? It,s not a problem to chage it with new no matter that they are ok new is new. BTW wich model is Yamaha amplifier seem good.
Pretty poor job to be honest, i would never put a customers amp back out with a repair job that slapdash, o/p transistors as pissed as a stag party, wrong limiting resistors fitted which will overheat adjacent comopnents and connector which is gonna cause premature failure of latter in a few years of use, no thermal paste on mica washer on the end, incomplete test of other components. When you remount the board, you do so and then insert the transistors and solder just one leg to hold them, at least they will be straight......... be aware in future that layout does matter especially where those resistors are concerned
At 18V output Voltage one Transistor can handle 230W. (18V is a typical output Voltage for Power Amps like this) One Transistor can switch 230V and 15A - that gives you 3450W switchable Power.

Una coppia originale giapponese costa 8 euro e quella fake cinese 2 euro ma di solito sottoalimenta il tutto con trasformatori miseri o usa schede di potenza maggiorata e quindi funge tutto comunque ma con distorsioni più alte e potenze più basse.
You are so Funny. Original are precision metal film resistors with 1% tolerance (unimportant have 10%) installed and you solder cheap carbon film resistors with 5% tolerance.

that is not yamaha is a copy in all low quality Chinese I have a 200 +200 and the temperature protectors fail to make it more sensitive
you should apply first low voltage with one pair of power transistor if in case there is some fault on pcb you can protect the rest of your parts
