- I am very sorry I know it has been quite a while since I have made a video I have been very busy with life & I have been busy with work as well & I just never got a chance to video any cars lately but now hopefully I will try my hardest to do more car reviews before the snow comes, Anyway Good Evening & Welcome to fordmustang98guy Everyone, Today's In Depth Review I will be showing you a 1998 Plymouth Voyager, I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of the van while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, & starting the engine as well. A thorough tour/review of the van designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

These are really nice vans I have a 2000 Dodge Grand caravan with 240000 miles it's the se trim and still running strong today💪👌
Is it automatic or manual transmission??
Its was a automatic but i dont have my van anymore
I had a purple '99 Expresso...had the "N" package so it was fully loaded. Nicest car I ever owned.
Drew Beck you still have your 99 voyager expresso?
@@fordmustang98guy I wish I did! It got caught in a flood, unfortunately. I'm currently driving an '06 Town and Country (SWB). It's loaded up as well, including a DVD player in the "ceiling"--rare for a short model.
I grew up with a 2000 Plymouth Voyager the base model that this still running like brand new though doesn't look and feel like it only the rear seats lol. I plan on keeping it as it has value to me and also plan to restore it. My dad added some OEM features the car didn't originally have like the center console and ring light around ignition. We got an aftermarket radio for the TV for when we were in the car but still have the OEM one. My plan for it over all to keep it, restore it, and maybe add OEM features for it especially the rear bucket seats and keep the bench seats for myself lol. Today as of now it has almost 250k miles on it though we don't drive it much anymore mainly on road trips or different occasions like going to Six Flags because we invite friends and family
We also have a 2002 Chrysler T&C EX my aunt gave us because we grew up and needed more space but we still like our Voyager and we use both of them equally. I see more vans of the same generation as the Chrysler than the Plymouth sad they are disappearing they still are nice looking cars both of them
The poor mans luxury car, they drive smooth and are crazy cheap . I had a 2000 chrysler grand voyager SE that I bought for travel , the only issues at 255k was that it needed a tie rod end probably the sway bar link too bc it had a slight shake at high speed . It was a 3.3l with plenty of power and smoothness
My family used to own a 96 Caravan. My dad bought it in 2002. We only had it for 4 years until we got involved in a car accident. The caravan was mighty to carry 5 people on a 1000 mile trip to Mexico for a couple times. Ours was like the basic trim. Manual everything. No rear climate. Ours was a green color, i called it the 90s green. I miss that minivan a lot.
Oh so you guys only had it up until 2006? What happened to it the van got totalled?
These Voyagers are really nice.
Good job, Mark!
Facts
I still drive my 2000 Plymouth Voyager and use it for road trips frequently
Plymouth in my dream car
I Like That Van I Know That MSD Motors That Chevy Van She Was Back To Life This Voyager Is A Good Shape Of A Minivan
I had one come to me with no reverse and I pulled the trans out on jack stands my buddy rebuilt the trans and I put it back in all done in less then 6 hours. While under the vehicle I checked everything out and at 180k miles no rust no accident damage so I bought the van for my wife. I live on the Mexico boarder and they are very popular vans on both sides and now I see why
These things are usually rusted out, Wow thats in nice shape!

Yeah I thought this was a 2007 video, but it’s not!
42luke roblox the video camera I was using was a canon FS400
Mark from [fordmustang98guy]
That’s cool, the quality was great. I like the video, your camera is pretty good for an old camera. If you ignore the slight color contrast it’s a good video camera.
My grandpa used to have a 1997 Chrysler town and country that was this same bodystyle but it was an extended wheelbase version. It was loaded it had tan leather interior infinity sound system and everything. It was the LXI trim
Still looks like a brand new van the wheels look real sharp on that van actually
Great video! This is such a nice van for 1998!🚗
Every time I think 🤔 about Plymouth I watch this
great video mark good to see you you reviewing cars again
I loved the “cab forward “, designed vans. I had three. They where great family vehicles
The owner of this van probably takes really good care of it.
Adventures of Robert the owner is lucky he got 20 years out of that van😂
Yea
That’s a really good point
No
Your probably right
these vans were really just ahead of their time
The owner who owns it still has it
I really like the collier of the van
My mom has a 1998 plymouth voyager expresso well my mother's van is in good condition
The colour on this van is called “Deep Amethyst Pearl”.
Oh I did not know that lol I thought it was Purple because the colour looked liked a dark purple
Mark from [fordmustang98guy] the colour looks really unique, just like our 1997 Toyota Corolla, which had a metallic dark green colour.
Mark from [fordmustang98guy] the colour is just pretty from appearance and in the sunlight
Great looking van
The 1998 Plymouth Voyager Espresso is based to the Dodge Caravan Sexy Turd and the Chrysler Town and Country.
Thinking about getting one for road trips w the dogs
This minivan is in a good shape and feels like it's completely new with the paint on it. Even your camera quality fits well to make it looks like a footage of a full vehicle tour of a brand new Plymouth minivan there...
And additionally, the electronic inside feels like brand new too
*interior electronics
The guy who owns that van bought it used in 2000 but it is a 1998 he has had it for 17 years & he never drives it in the winter never seen snow at all.
Mark from [fordmustang98guy] never seen snow? I guess thats why the car is in good shape the owner had took care of it very well
It’s probably a really nice car
My mom had a purple 99 Plymouth Grand Voyager Van and it was falling apart and we traded it in a few years ago and we bought a white 2009 Dodge Journey SXT

This Van?
@@fordmustang98guy Yeah, it's a fairly common vehicle. Not so much the Plymouth variant, but the Chrysler vans from this period in general. Surprised this Plymouth actually survived in this condition at all
The awkward moment when you realize this is your neighborhood
1998 Plymouth Voyager Expresso, 113,572 miles
My dad has a 1997 honda accord and i want to suggest if u can do a 1996 or 1997 honda accord?
I will try my best to find one lol I try my hardest to find 90's vehicles to review
These things had seats that fold flat into the floor?
I think that was 1 version newer than this one.
I want this as my first car. Are these hard to find now or are they common
These are super hard to find in excellent condition so this exact one here in my video the neighbour in my subdivision who owns that van has had it since 2000 so he bought it when it was 2 years old the van is a 1998 model year but he got it used in 2000 he does still have it I don’t think he’s going to sell it tho lol

I would like to rent one of those old Dodge caravans if you still sell them

Very nice was this van a one owner?
Yes I believe so the guy bought it used was 2 years old when he bought it he got it in 2000 but it is a 1998
Mark from [fordmustang98guy] I total believed you because this van is very very clean and low km 113,000 is low
Plus he never drove it in the winter never seen snow
My mom had a white 97 version . Ac unit went out on us 🙄

88 SuzukiSamurai nothing was wrong with it but that AC ....
Jeremiah Anthony I know how you feel I got a 05 grand caravan ac unit also out it sucks especially in the summer
88 SuzukiSamurai I wouldn’t mind . Those vans were apart of my childhood.
Jeremiah Anthony same

This isn’t a chrysler
What do you mean this is a Chrysler Plymouth is a Chrysler product

Nissan Frontier V6 both vs
Plymouth Voyager
You cannot compare those two cars Nissan & Plymouth are different
