These numbers that he's putting up this season are absolutely godly. Don't forget that May and April he started slow and some wanted him benched. A win is a win, but dear god this pitching staff needs a wake up call. Ever since the 2nd game we played against Boston in June, our team ERA is 5.20. Strowman finally had a great game after a long slump, and the bullpen was trying to give the game away, when we were up 6-1 after the 6th and 8-3 after the 7th. Tommy Kahnle and Jake Cousins are the only 2 relievers with an era under 2.50 right now. Luke Weaver and Michael Tonkin were doing great in the 1st half, but have been putrid since the ASG. And it's not just the bullpen, the rotation has been bad for a while too. The aforementioned Strowman has been sucking his past 10 starts, Cole has been inconsistent since he was clearly rushed back (great games from both of them tho), and Nestor has sucked too.
This collective pitching freefall has been going on for too long. Wake the f*** up!

Verdugo tries too hard to stand out with them yellow cleats. And sk.ekne needs to show jazz fundamentals. He needs to hold the glove up on a pop up or line drive. Not when the ball arrives, gonna cause some defensive mishaps down the road

Big Yankee fan, and stoked to see them take the series. But can someone explain to me how that foul Stanton hit before his home run wasn’t a fair ball? Could not have been happier to see him crack it, but just need a little clarity on that

I'm curious what number Stanton & Judge are on the list of Yankees with the most multi homer games.
They stay hot and we're looking at all time numbers.

Hopefully Stanton can get hot again. Maybe we'll see them stop walking Judge so much.

Stanton's reach out line drive is comical, had it been someone else that would have been a single, maybe a double.

Weird series were all 3 starters pitched well but once that achillies heel bullpen almost blew back 2 back games 😔

Great Win on Volpe Bobblehead Day!
Unfortunately, a cruel reminder to all those in attendance that Volpe is 0 for 20 in the last 5 games, including 3 Strikeouts today.

He will get back… and perfect example of why he was a Gold Glover last year with that tag to nab Seager early in the game! Unreal play!
