Thanks for the shout out! Glad you liked the mod. I’ve just built the g wagon and changed the hood as I built it. Also working on several other builds that I’ll show soon on the fbook page once I’ve got some parts that I’m waiting for so I can finish! Happy building.😀😀
@@paulaaronquijano3255 ok these are the parts i used. Using Bricklink codes: 1 x 92583 trans brown, 2 x 3937 any colour, 2 x 3938 black, 1 x 32828 black, 1 x 30663 black, 2 x 54200 yellow, 2 x 61409 black, 2 x 2431 yellow, 1 x 87079 yellow, 2 x 15712 black or yellow, 1 x 99563 black or dark grey, 2 x 3070 yellow, 2 x 3024 yellow, 1 x 3710 black, 2 x 3023 black, 1 x 3710 yellow, 1 x 3020 yellow, 2 x 34103 black or dark grey. Lots of parts recovered of course, I think that was everything. happy building
Always making great vids and mods!! Keep it up! Have you seen the Mould King modified wind screens with the open top? Might work real well for this build.
Where you go 3x “that bit doesn’t exist” that last bit does exist. At least you look to be pointing out a quarter round piece (1x2) with 2 attachment points.
Do you mean the new L shaped plate with rounded corner. I looked at that but it’s too square looking. There is a brick the right shape but I need a plate
@@speedybrick unless I misunderstood but it’s the same piece that is on the G-Wagon, surrounding the spare wheel Mercedes logo. But in studded version. That’s been around for years.
@@chazmyster ok i see what you mean, i think of that piece as a L shape with rounded corner. but it is too square to match the shape of the curved piece above, so didn't want to use it.
I don't understand why LEGO themselves didn't design the bonnet that wide in the first place. A great mod!
Thanks, me either. The steering wheel is even more a mystery as they used it in the G wagon
Great modifications SB, big improvements.
Thanks most appreciated

Your welcome. Look forward to seeing your mods
Omg thanks for sharing this! This is way way better than the original ones.
Thanks most appreciated
The real car does have those 2 bumps going down the hood. Maybe not as pronounced as legos but that's how Lego could do it
When I looked at pictures of the real car I saw the bonnet as basically flat with some creases, which is why I removed the detail initially
@@speedybrick that’s what I meant is it has 2 creases that run down the hood and I guess that’s the only way Lego could do it
thank you sooo much 🎉
You're welcome 😊
Someone have idea how I can made roof for this Mercedes? I want make normal C class AMG, but all of my attempt to make roof look very strange
@@bartoszpiela7958 great question I am thinking the same
Higher windshield also allows for a MOC softtop/hardtop.
Yes it does 😄, project for someone
great mods, im going to do these on my own mercedes set when i get one.
Thanks, have fun with your build
Nicely done. Now for the G-wagon. The rear must be fixed asap!!!!
Thanks, yes it needs some work

Great mod! I think I’ll do something just like this. Thanks!
Your welcome

Might be a while before I get back to this one but will try.
@@speedybrick thanks!! if you have the time, can you please comment down below the parts you used? so I can apply them on my own sl63?

Would you be able to modify the SL63 into an AMG GT?
Great idea
Awesome! Thanks!
You bet!
Is there a solution for the hood and the headlights not alighting properly. It doesn’t look too good fromn the side view with the misalignment.
I haven’t seen one
@@speedybrick hopefully someone finds a solution for that

Thanks most appreciated. I will have to look. Do you have an image to share?
@@speedybrick Try Googling: Mould King 27041. Hopefully that will give you the correct results
Difficult to represent the windscreen, but every modification looks awesome
Thanks, yes it’s tricky ideally Lego create a new windscreen for these types of cars
Can you do a tutorial on the bonnet
not much required, i will make some pictures an share them as a post
Ok i have put some images as a post, hopefully that helps
