091 Weddle Mainshaft Assembly - VW 6 Rib Transaxle

This is how to mock up and measure the gear clearance when doing a Weddle mainshaft for the 091 or 6 rib transaxle. I plan to load up more videos on VW's transaxles.

In your book I couldn't find if if the ring opinion on a 002 the same as 091

Not the same. The 091 pinion shaft is longer.

Can you make a video on a 091 dropping the gear set into the case to see how not to struggle dropping that darn reverse gear 😂
