I do not know if people know this, but ethereal set bonuses (Amaterasu, Susano, etc) can be passed to another weapon/armor piece. As long as familiarity is maxed and the set bonus replaced an inheritable stat a set bonus can be sent to another weapon's inheritable stat slot.
Antonio, so the Grace (like Grace of Susanoo, for instance) itself can transfer over to the weapon or armor being used as a base when doing Soul Matching? So long as the weapon or armor with the said grace is of maxed out familiarity? Is this what you’re trying to say?
Yes, but there is an additional prerequisite. The desired grace MUST have taken over an inheritable stat. This happens when a weapon has 2 locked stats and an inheritable. If I still make no sense then sorry it's actually kind of hard to explain without a video/screen shot.
Dragons dogma remake is pretty nice so far. Doesnt really look like it got a whole lot of upscaling, but it's still very fun. Framerate issues seem less common but I've noticed them here and there. That fresh start in hard mode though, when the 3rd goblin I fought 1 shot me lol
Feircy - started my playthrough today and it definitely runs and looks better than PS3. Texture quality is the same as the PC version at 1080p. Sadly it is running at 30fps but quite solid from what I've played so far. Here's a tip. You can be rich early on. Go to the shop in Cassardis and look in the sell section. Something sells for 312k. ;)

I'm actually solid on money, hard mode buffs drops like craaazzyy. I made over 200k just from enemy gold drops while escorting the cart lol. They drop 10k at a time pretty regularly
@@RantingTalk :) I just did a few missions in WOTD and then unlocked WOTW => the game really shines now, that's what I like about Team Ninja, they're really good at making higher difficulties with different enemies and mechanics.

Thanks for sharing..im almost done putting the susano build together but the grind for a susano chest peice just won't drop lol..even defiling guard and unusual for the weight isn't happening..is there a faster way to farm/Get droplets of decay other than the abyss? Even going back through previous levels they seem to not drop as much but I guess that's just part of the grind.
part of the grind :/ Haven't gotten anything outside of abyss for droplets, and don't even know if there's a smithing text for it, doubt it. wish there was, or at least tradeable at teahouse. doing the planes can sometimes give you an extra 1-2, but obviously takes a ton of time.clearing everything every floor.

Have you or anyone else played around with those new dual swords that have both fire and lightning on them? Just wanted to know how well they work with putting on the debuffs and if they are worth it or just something to mess around with for the lolz
skyzanon on lower difficulties they work fine. On way of the wise and up, they don't add enough to be effective. You are most likely going to kill your enemies before you afflict them with confusion
haven't messed with em. I heard they're pretty bad since the element on them is low, though perhaps with magatsuhi grace they can be alright at applying confusion. can't use lw with them since lw elemental would replace the elements. using elemental talismans with unlimited could do a better job at applying confusion on the fly than them tho.
Hi PWAR, sorry for a super noob question but I just got back into Nioh and only on way of the strong at lvl210, what's the best build/way to boost myself higher fast in order to obtain higher level gear for better builds such as the ones you do? I'm currently still using red demon set + katana(lvl150) with Suzaku and enko, but it's taking too long to kill things
lw builds are the best, the fastest, and the most defensive builds in the game on any difficulty. So, if youwant to power through everything, then that would be the way to go. Just forge full fanatic, use kato, either kusa/odachi/spear and power through all the missions/difficulties. However, at the same time, lw is ALL there really is too do at the last 2 difficulties, so, perhaps consider not doing that till after passing wotd. So for builds, mad spinnner axe build has never failed me for damage, and defensively those earlier difficulties shouldn't be too much a problem. Use full jpn bravest and kara-jishi+bisha as spirit, should make easy work of bosses, then titanic strength for normal mobs. hope that helps!
Let me guess the next build that you mention is CLW build too? Well cant blame anyone some of the new set force you to that! Good job but cant see something compared or better from Perfect Susano and with the glitch two ethereal or three sets together that build will stay high, unless TN nerfs again the LW?
its wotn that's the problem. everything hits too hard, and has too high health. if your damage is not somewhat insane, you'll die eventually, and if you don't invest into dmg reduction sets like tatenashi or oyamatsumi, you'll die in 1-2 hits, so that's mainly the reason for sticking with lw. This and the next is an attempt to at least not use kusa/odachi, which most used forever.
Well wotw was the same but with the new caps and raise of damage now seems ok but yeah wotn is insane if you let something touch you "you are as good as dead", not to mention the levels in abyss there is one hit KO! Btw project I am hyped to buy the Monster Hunter World is my first game of the series, the game looks very cool, but I want to know is there a leveling system, skills, the hunts you go based on what are given on what you miss to upgrade your gear or on the level of gear? Are there hunts that can be done only in party or all content can be done and solo?
8:27 You mention save scumming here. Can you share how you do that? The defiled items aren't revealed until you exit the Abyss, at that time the game saves; or am I doin'g something to inadvertently cause the game to quicksave?
didn't hear what he said in the video but you go into the abyss, then you defile your weapons/armour all the things you want, then you can advance and after defeat 3 bosses you should exit the game (by closing the app directly) and make save scum, after that you will need just to reload and defeat the last boss, see what you get, if it doesn't like you, reload the data you previously saved and try again.
after you reached final floor, say floor 37, BEFORE beating that boss and leaving, save at shrine (or the game saves as soon as you enter floor 37), then savescum, that is quit the game, copy your save to usb, restart game, beat the boss/floor, leave ro check items, doesn't turn into the grace you want? Copy save from usb back to ps4 where you'll restart back before you beat the boss, and retry process. so each retry, you have to beat the boss again, so its better to choose an easy floor/boss, hence i mentioned 36/37/38 as the easiest.
in one kill? most likely no. also if they use any "graces", they will be changed to futsunushi grace, a different grace, so it's honestly only good for normal sets if a friend wanted fanatic or say hayabusa. stats are randomized. for more loot they need to be lower lvl than the revenant, the same with the revenant I believe. If you're trying to power boost a low-lvl friend still in samurai, your revenant needs to be low enough for them to be able to see the grave, and also kill it.
One more thing. I was watching someone play with two tonfas, I forget who, one with one elemental effect, and the other with a different elemental effect. Like lightning tonfas and wind tonfas. Basically this person was switching back and forth between the two tonfas until the bosses were in "confusion" or "dischord" because of the two stacked elemental effects. Seemed like a pretty cool build. Would you ever tackle a build like that? The ultimate dual elemental build? Great video as always. Looking forward to the next ones.
probably not, I only got one more build in me, and the next build is that build. In a way you can do the same for spear, but instead of jumping back between two wpns, you can can inflict confusion on the fly via elemental talismans with wild spear without stopping to attack. unlimited onymo ensures you can prevent usage of the elemental talismans. ultimately though, builds dependent on elemental are usually slower, and will struggle against certain bosses who they can't inflict elemental/confusion on because of their resistance.
I'm still using armor of the acceptional Shiranui build. And I can't even beat way of the strong. I am level 203. What build would you recommend I make to really increase my damage and help me do some efficient farming and beat the way of the strong difficulty?
overrides. no two buffs stack from the tree's, aside maybe that one where you lose all familarity after a certain time but gain increased attack and luck, that can stack with the others. So if you had to choose, just use leeching, since you'd have to use it to get to critical anyway, saves slots. power pill is not bad to use for non-bosses though, for extra dmg.
Just want to know if the susanoo build still works? are there any other builds that have decent dmg but not hard to farm? cuz I stopped after I was done with the first DLC and my old fanatic build deals no damage in WOTW... and I have been looking everywhere but just couldn't find a build thats reasonably to farm and with some dmg.
old susanoo should still work, the problem is you gotta drop blade spin. it's all about strong attacks for kusa + odachi. a lot of builds are better with ethereal grace though, but full fanatic should still be pretty good. you just gotta stack effects from multiple stats like i have in pretty much every build. using a set alone and a good weapon isn't enough anymore.
thank you so much! pleasee just a few more questions cuz i hv missed so much of it and im so confused i farmed at the scion of virtue in wotw for a very long time but there wasnt one ranged ethereal lol did they nerf the ethereal drop in there? i tried with: swallowtail armor with luck on every pcs, yata mirror x1, a fan with luck 28 and luck(LW) 91, the bunny and itokuri. i use catwalk, supper, tigerrunning and open all the chest with LW and luck talisman on. its more than 550 luck during LW. And where to farm gold? is it still at the Restless Spirits?

helmet can get luck inheritables, any helm. just do something like marobashi that gives lots of armor loot, or hell, just forge some easy helms that use normal materials and you'll get a luck inheritbale every so often. the spear can be gotten from a wotn dlc 3 mission reward, forgot which one, maybe everlasting duty.

my question is how do i get at this point? I've been playing for a couple of months now and it seems I can not really get any major improvment and I'm sure that there is something that I'm missin doing wrong but I do not know what the only thing I'm I know that I'm not a good / skilled player. the first few levels are more than dark souls hard. these are the hours requiring extreme patience. things get easier as you get more stats, items, & armor in late...in late game Nioh transitions from Souls to Diablo 2 feels
what point are you in the game? as far as samurai goes, can't really help you there other than, use magic and ninjutsu and invest into them at some point, wpn scaling stats damage is practically irrelevant early on. after ng+ and beyond, it's all about sets, and knowing what stats to look for. my builds are pretty much made to help people not skilled in the game, beat the game, or just be stupidly op. I have a very easy to spot pattern in my videos. I always get damage magic, always get quick change scroll, always get the same stats on gear for the most part, always use the top spirits and clan, then the rest is just knowing the sets and figuring out what to put together that works or is interesting.
PWARGaming I'm lv 404 I have unlocked wotw but for some reason I can not get into the mechanic/timing of the game/mobs. That why I choose to go with a ninjuzu build ( the one you created ) but at the moment all the equip that I have is green ( missing the right weapon as well )and the damage it's not enough to beat wotw. It is very frustrating because I really want to like the game but I can't get excited because about it because I may not have the right eq to play with. So I guess I may have to keep farming and hope for the best. Btw Thank you for you replay
Body is the better choice but he decided to not have to use another Book of Reincarnation so he's gone with Skill and Strength as his main stats so that he can switch between all weapons easily :)
getting the spear with skill and a slot open for defiling is quite ... 170 crafts (yes i could have done save scum for that too ...) and not one time skill + slot open :/ if i dont add divine fragment can it have skill too?
you don't need slot open for defile, that's just being too safe for no reason when you can easily savescum before finishing an abyss run, rather than savescumming in forging process. You'd mainly want to savescum for full 7 slot, but with this spear in particular, it's not needed, so you just need star effect and you're good. forging is the only way for star effects, and wild spear needs it.
yeah but how would i get the 5pc bonus of kush if not like that? the secondary weapon (sword) cant have the grace if it has set bonus already? so i would need it on ogress mask AND the spear else i cant really have the 5pc bonus?
when you go divine > ethereal from defile, even if you have full stats, the grace bonus just replaces a random stat. I never had a star effect replaced, but I'd advise savescumming just in case, but that's what i meant. Don't need an open slot. Can do for ogress mask too, can be full stats, just forge a bunch and try defiling them :)
as low as you want, stats are pretty irrelevant by this point, it's all just for extra damage, or convenience. so long as you get spirit, magic, dex, and enough stamina/str to wear the set, you can do the build. obviously the more pts into the wpn scaling stats the mo9re damage you'll deal. i'd reckon around lv 200 the build can be started.
a useless spell lol suppose to damage enemies that are close to you but only does about 100 damage per tick every second or so, which is useless when bosses have over 100k health xD
forgot, but it's not a drop, it's a reward from a mission in wotn. Again, you can forge any spear, the blind has been okay but a lot of times useless, and obviously the fire stat is dead in lw. great chidori spear is the one I would go for and put weaken melee and maybe pierce guard on it, in place of kotaimatsu's locked stats.
nearly everything was nerfed since nearly every build used critical dmg in someway. this was kind of nerfed yah, but unsure if there's good replacements if you wanted to keep it luck based. for dmg, 3 kigetsu (1 odachi), 2 tatenashi, then 4pcs of whatever else (with yasakani) is most damage likely, a grace set would be the complementary set.
somewhat, it mainly just effects anything that says "critical", which is losing damage, so for sure weaker now, which is for most lw builds. though they also changed wild spear, so unsure if it's still a viable skill or not. I'm not updating, so you guys would have to test yourselves.
I've been trying to figure this out myself. It seems like it got nerfed harded than the Susano build he did. I'm already having issues with low damage output early in the abyss, though I don't have all the stats "perfect" yet.
unless its buffed, it wouldn't be smart to waste time on it unless you just wanted to play normally and not worry about doing the best damage or surviving in the abyss
more like blame team ninja for having most enemies and bosses not have a proper revenge value system in regards to all the living weapon builds. like come on, you can't even really combo on Maria. It's all having to hit and run and that's not very fun. nioh for the most part is a solid game to me but it has some specific issues that cause a lot of problems(regarding combat).
I don't even blame the fights in general, i think their mechanics are solid but being required to hit and run just hurts what would be a really fun fight. oh also SOME fights have issues where i wish Nioh didnt go the dark souls route and have agility rankings. Date is one of them where you can't dodge his horizontal water slash combo unless you have A rank agility and if not well...you better have the elemental res to block it and idk if that'll save you.
he wouldn't have been too bad also if there was a system that let us break their living weapon mode. devil may cry 3 had this with Vergil's devil trigger mode and all you had to do was hit him i believe 3 times.
probably not, at least as is. iirc, they patched the skill somewhat and made critical effects useless in lw, so it's main dmg advantages are out, but i haven't played in a long time and never tested how wild spear does after patch (since I never updated to ver 1.20) so truthfully, idk. You still have celestial spear to hit hard though, its just slower/clunky.
Make a freakin axe build already it's the strongest strong stance attack. So tired of yugioh and naruto references. You totally underestimate the power of axe

The spear text is obtained by completing "The Last Samurai" submission in WOTN difficulty.

I'm currently still using red demon set + katana(lvl150) with Suzaku and enko, but it's taking too long to kill things
lw builds are the best, the fastest, and the most defensive builds in the game on any difficulty. So, if youwant to power through everything, then that would be the way to go. Just forge full fanatic, use kato, either kusa/odachi/spear and power through all the missions/difficulties. However, at the same time, lw is ALL there really is too do at the last 2 difficulties, so, perhaps consider not doing that till after passing wotd. So for builds, mad spinnner axe build has never failed me for damage, and defensively those earlier difficulties shouldn't be too much a problem. Use full jpn bravest and kara-jishi+bisha as spirit, should make easy work of bosses, then titanic strength for normal mobs. hope that helps!

Good job but cant see something compared or better from Perfect Susano and with the glitch two ethereal or three sets together that build will stay high, unless TN nerfs again the LW?
its wotn that's the problem. everything hits too hard, and has too high health. if your damage is not somewhat insane, you'll die eventually, and if you don't invest into dmg reduction sets like tatenashi or oyamatsumi, you'll die in 1-2 hits, so that's mainly the reason for sticking with lw. This and the next is an attempt to at least not use kusa/odachi, which most used forever.
Well wotw was the same but with the new caps and raise of damage now seems ok but yeah wotn is insane if you let something touch you "you are as good as dead", not to mention the levels in abyss there is one hit KO!
Btw project I am hyped to buy the Monster Hunter World is my first game of the series, the game looks very cool, but I want to know is there a leveling system, skills, the hunts you go based on what are given on what you miss to upgrade your gear or on the level of gear? Are there hunts that can be done only in party or all content can be done and solo?

didn't hear what he said in the video but you go into the abyss, then you defile your weapons/armour all the things you want, then you can advance and after defeat 3 bosses you should exit the game (by closing the app directly) and make save scum, after that you will need just to reload and defeat the last boss, see what you get, if it doesn't like you, reload the data you previously saved and try again.
after you reached final floor, say floor 37, BEFORE beating that boss and leaving, save at shrine (or the game saves as soon as you enter floor 37), then savescum, that is quit the game, copy your save to usb, restart game, beat the boss/floor, leave ro check items, doesn't turn into the grace you want? Copy save from usb back to ps4 where you'll restart back before you beat the boss, and retry process. so each retry, you have to beat the boss again, so its better to choose an easy floor/boss, hence i mentioned 36/37/38 as the easiest.

Is it possible to to drop an entire set to a friend from a revenant in one shot if there both friends
in one kill? most likely no. also if they use any "graces", they will be changed to futsunushi grace, a different grace, so it's honestly only good for normal sets if a friend wanted fanatic or say hayabusa. stats are randomized. for more loot they need to be lower lvl than the revenant, the same with the revenant I believe. If you're trying to power boost a low-lvl friend still in samurai, your revenant needs to be low enough for them to be able to see the grave, and also kill it.
That weapon skill is crazier than cat shit. Nekomata shit.
One more thing. I was watching someone play with two tonfas, I forget who, one with one elemental effect, and the other with a different elemental effect. Like lightning tonfas and wind tonfas. Basically this person was switching back and forth between the two tonfas until the bosses were in "confusion" or "dischord" because of the two stacked elemental effects. Seemed like a pretty cool build. Would you ever tackle a build like that? The ultimate dual elemental build? Great video as always. Looking forward to the next ones.
probably not, I only got one more build in me, and the next build is that build. In a way you can do the same for spear, but instead of jumping back between two wpns, you can can inflict confusion on the fly via elemental talismans with wild spear without stopping to attack. unlimited onymo ensures you can prevent usage of the elemental talismans. ultimately though, builds dependent on elemental are usually slower, and will struggle against certain bosses who they can't inflict elemental/confusion on because of their resistance.

Farm mirobashi and disassemble. That's the only way I saw that's pretty easy.

overrides. no two buffs stack from the tree's, aside maybe that one where you lose all familarity after a certain time but gain increased attack and luck, that can stack with the others. So if you had to choose, just use leeching, since you'd have to use it to get to critical anyway, saves slots. power pill is not bad to use for non-bosses though, for extra dmg.
does that fire damage from helm helps while you are in LW mode? i though only LW attack enhancement help
it increases the fire damage only :p LWAE effects the white number, so physical only. damage = includes elemental. attack = only physical.
Just want to know if the susanoo build still works? are there any other builds that have decent dmg but not hard to farm? cuz I stopped after I was done with the first DLC and my old fanatic build deals no damage in WOTW... and I have been looking everywhere but just couldn't find a build thats reasonably to farm and with some dmg.
old susanoo should still work, the problem is you gotta drop blade spin. it's all about strong attacks for kusa + odachi. a lot of builds are better with ethereal grace though, but full fanatic should still be pretty good. you just gotta stack effects from multiple stats like i have in pretty much every build. using a set alone and a good weapon isn't enough anymore.

i farmed at the scion of virtue in wotw for a very long time but there wasnt one ranged ethereal lol did they nerf the ethereal drop in there?
i tried with: swallowtail armor with luck on every pcs, yata mirror x1, a fan with luck 28 and luck(LW) 91, the bunny and itokuri. i use catwalk, supper, tigerrunning and open all the chest with LW and luck talisman on. its more than 550 luck during LW.
And where to farm gold? is it still at the Restless Spirits?

helmet can get luck inheritables, any helm. just do something like marobashi that gives lots of armor loot, or hell, just forge some easy helms that use normal materials and you'll get a luck inheritbale every so often. the spear can be gotten from a wotn dlc 3 mission reward, forgot which one, maybe everlasting duty.

the first few levels are more than dark souls hard. these are the hours requiring extreme patience.
things get easier as you get more stats, items, & armor in late...in late game Nioh transitions from Souls to Diablo 2 feels

what point are you in the game? as far as samurai goes, can't really help you there other than, use magic and ninjutsu and invest into them at some point, wpn scaling stats damage is practically irrelevant early on. after ng+ and beyond, it's all about sets, and knowing what stats to look for. my builds are pretty much made to help people not skilled in the game, beat the game, or just be stupidly op. I have a very easy to spot pattern in my videos. I always get damage magic, always get quick change scroll, always get the same stats on gear for the most part, always use the top spirits and clan, then the rest is just knowing the sets and figuring out what to put together that works or is interesting.
PWARGaming I'm lv 404 I have unlocked wotw but for some reason I can not get into the mechanic/timing of the game/mobs. That why I choose to go with a ninjuzu build ( the one you created ) but at the moment all the equip that I have is green ( missing the right weapon as well )and the damage it's not enough to beat wotw. It is very frustrating because I really want to like the game but I can't get excited because about it because I may not have the right eq to play with. So I guess I may have to keep farming and hope for the best.

Wait, so higher skill is better for spear build than full body?
Body is the better choice but he decided to not have to use another Book of Reincarnation so he's gone with Skill and Strength as his main stats so that he can switch between all weapons easily :)

getting the spear with skill and a slot open for defiling is quite ... 170 crafts (yes i could have done save scum for that too ...) and not one time skill + slot open :/ if i dont add divine fragment can it have skill too?
you don't need slot open for defile, that's just being too safe for no reason when you can easily savescum before finishing an abyss run, rather than savescumming in forging process. You'd mainly want to savescum for full 7 slot, but with this spear in particular, it's not needed, so you just need star effect and you're good. forging is the only way for star effects, and wild spear needs it.
yeah but how would i get the 5pc bonus of kush if not like that? the secondary weapon (sword) cant have the grace if it has set bonus already? so i would need it on ogress mask AND the spear else i cant really have the 5pc bonus?
when you go divine > ethereal from defile, even if you have full stats, the grace bonus just replaces a random stat. I never had a star effect replaced, but I'd advise savescumming just in case, but that's what i meant. Don't need an open slot. Can do for ogress mask too, can be full stats, just forge a bunch and try defiling them :)

What would you say is the minimum level you would need for this build to work?
as low as you want, stats are pretty irrelevant by this point, it's all just for extra damage, or convenience. so long as you get spirit, magic, dex, and enough stamina/str to wear the set, you can do the build. obviously the more pts into the wpn scaling stats the mo9re damage you'll deal. i'd reckon around lv 200 the build can be started.

a useless spell lol suppose to damage enemies that are close to you but only does about 100 damage per tick every second or so, which is useless when bosses have over 100k health xD
What mission does the smithing text for that spear drop?
forgot, but it's not a drop, it's a reward from a mission in wotn. Again, you can forge any spear, the blind has been okay but a lot of times useless, and obviously the fire stat is dead in lw. great chidori spear is the one I would go for and put weaken melee and maybe pierce guard on it, in place of kotaimatsu's locked stats.
So did 1.20 nerf this one too or is it still worth using?
nearly everything was nerfed since nearly every build used critical dmg in someway. this was kind of nerfed yah, but unsure if there's good replacements if you wanted to keep it luck based. for dmg, 3 kigetsu (1 odachi), 2 tatenashi, then 4pcs of whatever else (with yasakani) is most damage likely, a grace set would be the complementary set.

With the nerf coming to lw will this build be badly effected by it
somewhat, it mainly just effects anything that says "critical", which is losing damage, so for sure weaker now, which is for most lw builds. though they also changed wild spear, so unsure if it's still a viable skill or not. I'm not updating, so you guys would have to test yourselves.

like come on, you can't even really combo on Maria. It's all having to hit and run and that's not very fun.
nioh for the most part is a solid game to me but it has some specific issues that cause a lot of problems(regarding combat).

Yeah Sasuke, Second Yukimura, & The Second Sakon Fight are among the cheapest and ridiculous fights in the game.
I don't even blame the fights in general, i think their mechanics are solid but being required to hit and run just hurts what would be a really fun fight.
oh also SOME fights have issues where i wish Nioh didnt go the dark souls route and have agility rankings. Date is one of them where you can't dodge his horizontal water slash combo unless you have A rank agility and if not well...you better have the elemental res to block it and idk if that'll save you.

he wouldn't have been too bad also if there was a system that let us break their living weapon mode. devil may cry 3 had this with Vergil's devil trigger mode and all you had to do was hit him i believe 3 times.

probably not, at least as is. iirc, they patched the skill somewhat and made critical effects useless in lw, so it's main dmg advantages are out, but i haven't played in a long time and never tested how wild spear does after patch (since I never updated to ver 1.20) so truthfully, idk. You still have celestial spear to hit hard though, its just slower/clunky.
