I live in Mount Carmel and I rescued a lot of perennial plants from the defunk village of Alaska. You can see the foundations of the homes that were tore down. If you go there is spring there are a lot of daffodils, crocus and tulips. One of my hobbies is rescuing plants.

My grandparents lived there until it was abandoned and the houses were torn down. Grandfather was blacksmith for the mine.

Another good time out with Chris, I always enjoy when we can get together. The past few weeks have been bad weather wise, and we did have plans for more explorations, but God or weather has not worked out well for us. Ok, sorry I cannot put the blame on God. Anyway, we do have a few plans on new future vid's which I am sure all of you will enjoy. I wish to thank all of you for your wonderful comments about Chris and I, TY verry much, your comments have been much noticed and again, Thank You ALL.

Eh, boots, schmoots... You had a great time, you found a lot of neat things, and you were safe… That's all that matters.

I just looked up that weed, says it’s pokeweed. I thought pokeweed was the one that had the reddish stalk with the dark purple berries. What do I know. Talking about the tall one with the yellow flowers that looks like an ear of corn

Next time you guys are going here lmk. There is a way easier way in there that goes right by all the old properties. You need to go in closer to international paper. Maybe 50 yards after the bend in the railroad by international paper. Also there is an explosive company called explotech and they will trespass you.

    House foundations were stacked stone.
